Naeun is best known for her charismatic personality. She is very good with words and it shows whenever she is speaking to others. She's quite persuasive and is good at leading others into agreeing about certain things with her. A lot of people tend to be attracted to Naeun due to her charistmatic nature and overall exploding charisma. She's very charming and like stated before, is good alluring others to her as she is very convincing with her words, being able to relate to even the most opposite of people even if she doesn't actually personally at all. As well as being charismatic, Naeun is also very vivacious. She is quite bubbly and outspoken, always expressing her opinion on any matter that peeks her interest. She is full of self-confidence and it's evident in both her own mannerisms, emotions, and actions that she makes every single day. She just has a confident and perfect aura that most would kill for. Though Naeun may seem like the human perfection, she's really quite the opposite. Naeun is very blunt, something that isn't always good. She has a brutal honesty that she occasionally shows off to the those she really just doesn't "like" too much. She often voices out her disdain for others by telling them to their face or through her actions alone. You could say Naeun is the Regina George of Joongdong High School. Naeun is also quite arrogant, which is something seen through her charismatic and vivacious personality. She holds herself to a higher standard than everyone else, considering herself to be better than the others. She thinks, and knows, that she's prettier, smarter, and richer than everyone else even if the actual results don't match up with her own opinions. She lives for compliments and they often help feed her arrogance even further. Naeun is a selfish person, which is shown through being vain and greedy. She is very spoiled and gets what she wants whenever she wants it. She doesn't care what it takes to get what she wants because in the end she "will" get it. Naeun isn't afraid to lie and manipulate others to get her way. To her, the other students at Joongdong are just pawns in a game of chess with her as the Queen.

Chu Naeun was born on May 5th, 1999 in Paris, France. She was two months premature and was an unexpected birth at the time as her parents where only in France for a short vacation. Due to Naeun's birth, the vacation turned into seven years in France as Naeun's mother had suffered long-term complications from the birth causing her father to to business from France rather than directly in South Korea. Her father would often leave France to go to South Korea at months at a time due to being the CEO of the company. It wasn't until Naeun's mother had somewhat recovered from her ailments that the family was able to pack up and move back to Gangnam, South Korea in late 2007. Upon returning to South Korea, life was changed for Naeun as she had never been to her "home country" before. Regardless of the massive change, Naeun continued on with her life and was still spoiled rotten by her parents. Naeun befriended other rich kids in Gangnam and occasionally some "middle-class" people just when she wanted to show off her money to others poorer than she was. At every school Naeun attended growing up, she was always the "favorite" and most "popular" among the students at the schools. This changed for Naeun when entered Joongdong High School; after only half a school year in, Naeun had already been given the title of being the "second most popular" after just joining the school as a junior. The one in her way? Oh Jiae; the lovable, beautiful, yet quite dumb head cheerleader at Joongdong. Naeun figured she could've reversed her situation by dating the most popular guy, Mingyu, but he was taken also. This made Naeun absolutely furious as she had never been demoted and made "second" to anyone before. Once becoming a senior, Naeun made her way on to the prom committee thanks to the students and also her daddy's donations to the school. She plans to make the prom her dream ball and to get everything she wants by the end of it, the title of "Queen" of Joongdong as well as the King.

She occasionally with flirt with Mingyu when its just the two of them and Anna but Mingyu is a bit too dense to get the message, much to Naeun's annoyance. Naeun still plans on being with Mingyu by prom.

She is the one who decides who gets to be the lead in the plays, which usually end up being Naeun do her influence over the school. Ms. Ahn is actually a bit afraid of Naeun but she doesn't let Naeun know that.
Im Inha + 18 + Inha is one the only people who has seen Naeun for who she really is, alongside the Wallflower. Inha is one of Naeun's biggest enemies and whenever the two are alone together, they exchange a lot of words. Naeun is still trying to figure out a way to get Inha out of the picture, for good.

Naeun has long black hair that goes to her mid-chest. She straightens her hair every morning before school and occasionally will pull it up into a high ponytail or have her hair down in a fishtail braid. Naeun's eyes are a dark onyx brown that pop out against her pale, porcelain-like skin. She has no scars or birthmarks, only a couple moles here and there. Naeun has both of her ears pierced both once on each ear lobe, usually adorned with pearl earrings. As for her own makeup routine, Naeun prefers a light and natural look that mostly includes pinks and tones. When it comes to how Naeun wears her school uniform, she wears it in its traditional style. She doesn't alter it at all and keeps it exactly the way its supposed to look. Much of Naeun's wardrobe is filled with expensive clothing that her parents have bought for her throughout her teenage life. She owns a lot of clothing from places like Guess, Versace, Dior, Marc Jacobs, Dolce and Gabbana, Prada, and many more. She likes wearing beautiful tops with pencil skirts along with some heels, its her favorite outfit to wear. She also likes to pair the outfit with a fur coat or just a nice sweater if the weather is a bit cold. She rarely wears skinny jeans or pants at all, mostly wearing dresses and skirts on the regular. She owns and carries a lot of brand name bags along with other accesories to go with her outfits.

Yanan is very friendly, not one who comes across as meanspirited. He is very kind and nice to everyone he meets, giving every single person he encounters the upmost kindness possible. Everyone is a friend to Yanan, and he enjoys making new friends too. Yanan is a generous person who enjoys giving to others rather than recieving things himself. He is quite the opposite of Naeun, being more helpful towards others. Speaking of helping others, that's something that Yanan just enjoys doing because he loves being a help to those in need. Yanan is a gentle person, someone who is very mild in his behavior and mood. He isn't high-strung or over-the-top like most, choosing to be a calm and laidback person. He has very good manners and is very polite to every single person he meets.
Yanan is a very shy person despite his friendly exterior. He has a hard time talking or speaking when in front of strangers, choosing silence over speaking. Though he is shy, he doesn't turn a blind eye to everyone and is visibly more comfortable to be around once you get to know him. Yanan is quite blunt, showing honesty in a semi-harsh manner. He tends to "tell it how it is" and call people out on their . He doesn't like seeing people hurting others or even using others and will call people out in the most blunt manner possible. Yanan is quite the innocent person, having not been tainted in anyway. He has a very optimistic and bright outlook on life, showing her naïve nature regularly. There are some things he doesn't fully understand or get and he certainly think "dirty" things like other males his age.
your first meeting..
Naeun first met Yanan when they were both sixteen years old. Yanan's family had come over to South Korea from China, being the ones to expand their business over to South Korea themselves. Despite Naeun using her charms to hopefully win over the Chinese chaebol heir, Yanan immediately saw through Naeun's facade. He even commented on it and awkwardly made his departure away from the girl. Naeun was very humilated and embarrassed, hoping she wouldn't ever have to see the stupid boy again. Luck was not on Naeun's side of course because the same year Naeun transferred to Joongdong, Yanan had transferred there too. He was in the same classes as her and everything. Thinking things couldn't get any worse, her father ordered her to befriend the Chinese heir in hopes of the two becoming friends. Naeun obliged and attempted a friendship with Yanan but he rejected her a second time, not seeming to want to be friends with someone who is constantly wearing a mask. Naeun is still trying to befriend Yanan to this day for her father, what she doesn't know is that Yanan might just end up being her arranged marriage partner someday if things go according to plan for her father.

Naeun and Yanan's interactions are very much what one would expect them to be; awkward and quite unsettling. Due mostly to pressure from her father, Naeun has been trying to befriend the Chinese heir much to his disapproval. Yanan thinks Naeun is two-faced and otherwise knows that has an ulterior motive, based on what he's seen of her behavior. Naeun often tries to confront Yanan and chat with him, though he does tend to ignore her a lot. She tries a lot to show that she isn't what Yanan believes she is, which is two-faced and a fake person. Though Naeun could care less about Yanan, mostly because he isn't interested in her like other male students, she knows she can't just leave him alone or else she could anger her father. It's obvious the two don't get along very well and it will take a lot for the two to actually get along.
end game..
As time goes on and as the two begin to interact more and more with each other in the prom committee, it's Naeun who develops feelings for Yanan. Much to her general anger, Naeun begins experiencing butterflies in her stomach whenever Yanan is around, making her feel short of breath and strange. She knows what the feelings are but just doesn't want to admit it just yet. It isn't until Naeun dumps her prom date on the day of prom, the swimming team's ace: Moon Bin, that she begins to pursue her feelings full force. Naeun finds Yanan hanging outside the prom itself, keeping to himself like usual, and tells him upfront how she feels. Yanan has a completely blank expression on his face before Naeun's eyes begin to fill with tears. Yanan asks her why she's crying and puts a comforting hand on her back. Naeun admits that she's felt this way a lot longer than she has been letting on and that she is afraid of Yanan rejecting her. With a bittersweet smile, Yanan hugs Naeun gently and tells her that he isn't going to reject her. He confesses himself that he also liked Naeun but didn't agree with her behavior. Naeun begins to cry in happiness, with her makeup completely running down her face. The two are then confronted by a late Jiae and Hongseok, who help the two out the best they can.
