• Starting off Sori's personality on a positive note, she is known for her caring nature. She is very caring of the others around her and takes care of a lot people, especially her friends and family. She hates seeing anyone sad or upset and it makes her feel like she may have done something wrong. Sori is also known for her calm aura. She never freaks out over anything and always keeps her cool. She is very chill and comes off as a peaceful person. Sori is also known for her gentle ways. She is always very soft and slow with everything she does. If someone she cares for is upset, she will go and talk to them in a subtle manner. Or if she is fighting with someone, she will talk in a gentle, calm voice without getting worked up over anything. Without a doubt, Sori is a truly genuine person. She is very sincere with her feelings and actions. She really isn't the type to lie, unless Sori feels that she truly needs to in a certain situation. However, most of the time, she does say her opinion on most topics.

• Just as great as Sori may seem, she still has a lot of flaws. Sori is very private about a lot of things. She doesn't like telling people about her life or anything that has happened in it. She tends to keep a lot of things in the dark like if she's upset about something or feels wronged about something that was done to her. Sori is also very insecure. She doesn't feel beautiful and has always felt inferior to others around her. She doesn't think there's anything special about her other than her voice, causing her to feel down a lot. Not to forget to mention, Sori is very cautious. She doesn't trust people right away and is kind of walled off from others, making her seem cold when she really isn't. She doesn't like being too forward with people causing her to be quiet about a lot of things. Lastly, Sori is a quiet girl. She has a hard time talking to others, often feeling overwhelmed or nervous when talking to people that she doesn't know. This is especially true with how she acts around men, as men have just always made her nervous.

Background Yoon Sori, better known as Sophia Yoon, was born on August 23rd in 1998. Her parents, Yoon Jinsook and Hayoung, raised Sori in Seoul, South Korea for the first five years of her life. However, shortly after Sori's fifth birthday, the family up and moved to Adelaide, Australia due to her father's work. Her father, going by Jeremy Yoon in Australia, was hired to become a Korean language professor at the University of Adelaide. Her mother, going by Hannah Yoon instead of Yoon Hayoung, opened up a Korean BBQ restaurant called "Sori Sori," named after her only child. Sori's life in Australia was pretty laidback. She didn't have too many friends, mostly spending time with her parents. When she got older, she began hanging out with her high school's music club as well. Sori was very avid and passionate about music, finding joy in singing and playing her favorite instruments, the guitar and piano. At eighteen, Sophia graduated from her high school and returned to South Korea for further schooling. She began attending Ewha Woman's University as a music major, staying in their dormatory with her roommate, Song Boram. It wasn't until just last year that Sori considered actually becoming a musician. She was busking in Itaewon along with Boram, when she was asked out auditioning at a Japanese agency. Sori wasn't really sure if she wanted to go through with it, but ended up attending the audition after being encouraged by Boram. Much to her shock and surprise, Sori was offered to begin training under Hello!Project. Luckily for her, she wouldn't have to go to Japan as Hello!Project had a Korean branch she could train under.

Growing up, Sori really didn't have too many friends. When she finally got to university, she was lucky enough to find a friend in her own roommate, Boram. Although Boram is a culinary major at their university, she can actually play the violin, sharing an equal love of music with Sori. The two are very close, almost sister-like, despite only knowing each other for about a year or so. Sori depends a lot on Boram, mostly due to Boram's bright and friendly demeanor.
