"hi, i'm seonwoo!" ► ever since his childhood, seonwoo has been a sociable little flower. he enjoys making new people and starting up new conversations. he's very friendly and excel in making friends easily. his extroverted personality is what draws people to him and his warm heart.

"here, let me help you with that!" ► even if he doesn't know the person, seonwoo is always quick to help out. he's very generous and helpful to those around him. whether it's lending someone his umbrella or even just giving someone money who needs it more than him, that's just the type of person that seonwoo is.

"huh? i already told you that... sorry!" ► without a doubt, seonwoo is certainly one of the most talkative members in his group. he is a complete chatterbox! he never knows when to shut up or when not to say certain things. he often blabs about things that he's not supposed to; it's a curse.

"i mean, those jeans do make your look big..." ► even if he doesn't mean to be, seonwoo has always been a blunt person. he tends to be brutal with his honesty, having literally no filter whatsoever. be careful when asking seonwoo for his opinion because he has a history of hurting feelings.

"wait, santa claus isn't real??" ► maybe it's because of his age, but seonwoo has always been naïve. he tends to believe a lot of the things he's told, which can lead to a lot of problems. once, hoon convinced seonwoo that aliens were real and that he witnessed seonwoo being abducted a couple nights ago. needless to say, seonwoo was terrified until seojoon told him the truth.

"this is who i am!" ► on camera, seonwoo is seen as this cute and bubbly kid. he's very energetic, seemingly trying anything and everything that comes at him. he's often seen being close with the older male contestants, and even some of the older female contestants. he essentially is described as the "little brother" to most of the contestants, even if he isn't truly the youngest. off camera, seonwoo is mostly the same just more annoying. he truly never shuts up and often disrupts what the others are trying to do. however, he always makes up for his disruptive behavior through his laughter and helpful attitude.

Background. on april 4th, 1999, geum seonwoo was born in gangnam, south korea. his parents, jinwook and hayoung, were both plastic surgeons who shared a business together. at times, seonwoo was by himself when growing up. his parents were always busy which meant that seonwoo would often have to spent his time alone. however, seonwoo made up for his lonliness at school. he had lots of friends and was considered popular to some. by the time seonwoo was fifteen years old, seonwoo had auditioned for an entertainment agency known as 9x6 media. the company was relatively small but was nearby his own home and his parents' workplace so it worked out fine for him. luckily for seonwoo, he was accepted to become a trainee and trained for a whole year before debuting with f1rstclass on september 11th, 2015. their debut was met with minimal success, with a modest fanbase being formed. however, after each and every comeback, the group was just barely missing the top spot they needed in order to solidify their spot in the kpop world.

born on may 19th, 1996, yang jaeyoon is the lead vocalist of f1rstclass. out of all of seonwoo's members, jaeyoon is definitely the kindest. he's very gentle and humble, being the ultimate role model to seonwoo. like with seojoon, seonwoo spends a lot of time with jaeyoon just clinging to the taller guy's side. though, jaeyoon certainly doesn't mind especially since seonwoo's such a good kid, at least in his eyes. (insp: up10tion's kogyeol)

born on may 8th, 1998, zhou mubo is the main vocalist and only foreign member of f1rstclass. despite his foreigner status, seonwoo gets along with mubo just fine. mubo is kind of shy and quiet, but always opens up when seonwoo is around. mubo overall presence tends to make seonwoo chuckle a bit, mostly because of how confident and cool mubo looks on stage when in real life he's just a shy little cinnamon roll. (insp: up10tion's hwanhee)

born on december 13th, 2000, kim dojin is the lead dancer, vocalist, and maknae of f1rstclass. out of all of the members, dojin is the one that seonwoo most definitely considers to be his best friend. sure the two have a bit of an , but they just tend to ignore and act like the are the same age. besides, seonwoo already acts like he's dojin's age anyways. the two are very upbeat and loud, especially when together. maybe it was a mistake afterall to let the two share a room. (insp: up10tion's xiao)

f1rstclass debuted on september 11th with their first mini album, "the f1rst" and the title track, "so, dangerous." the tracklist included: the intro, "tension up!" and their title track, "so, dangerous." as well as "come as you are," "neverending," "phoenix," and "come with me." the ep sold 17,536+ copies and their title track landed in the #7 spot on the korean gaon chart.
► catch me! (2015)
shortly after their debut, f1rstclass came back with a second mini album called "bravo!" the title track, "catch me!" was a more playful sound and showed off their innocent and youthful image. the album included the intro track, "bravo!" as well as their title track "catch me!" the other tracks were "ditto," "call me," "holic," and "party2nite." their title track was more successful than the previous one, reaching the #5 spot on the korean gaon chart.

on april 18th, 2016, f1rstclass had their third comeback with their 3rd mini album, "spotlight." their title track was "attention," with it achieving the #4 spot on the korean gaon chart. the album included the intro "spotlight" and of course their title track, "attention." other tracks included "stay," "like nothing happened," "yes or no," "i wish a miracle," and "cherish." the last track was a duet between seonwoo and gfriend's yuju, sparking many live stages for the two singers.

on august 5th, 2016, f1rstclass had their fourth comeback as well as their 4th mini album, "summer!" the title track, "tonight," achieved the number one spot on the chart but the group failed to win any music show trophies. the song remains their second most popular song to date, with the album selling 73,561+ copies. the album tracks included their title track "tonight," as well as other tracks "beautiful," "oasis," "magic," and "be my luck."
► white night (2016)
just three months later on november 21st, f1rstclass came back with their 5th mini album, "burst." their title track, "white night" featured popular i.o.i member jeon somi in their music video, garnering them lots of attention. the album sold 83,737+ copies, making white night their most successful comeback to date. the title track reached #1 on the korean gaon chart, but the group failed to win a single award. their song had been nominated a few times but was overshadowed by other groups at the time. the album tracks include the intro "ignition," their title track "white night," "go!," "because," "stuck on you," and "just like that."
► runner (2017)
on june 29th, 2017, f1rstclass had their sixth comeback with their 6th mini album, "stardom." their title track, "runner" peaked the #2 spot on the korean gaon chart. the album sold 65,963+ copies and remains their third most popular song. it was during this comeback that the group announced their fandom name, "F1RSTLADY" due to their mostly female fanbase. the album included their title track "runner," "everything," "true love," "hot blood," "everyday," and "dream you." this era only included nine members as sungmin wasn't present due to a slipped disk in his back from one of f1rstclass' performances.
► going crazy (2017)
on october 12th, f1rstclass released their first single album called "special." the title track was "going crazy," the song being their least popular track ever. the song only reached the #20 spot on the korean gaon chart. the tracks included "going crazy" and "come back to me." the album in total sold 22,392+ copies. this comeback also didn't feature sungmin, who was still recovering from the slipped disk in his back.
► candyland (2018)
on march 15th, 2018, f1rstclass came back with their first studio album simply titled, "invitation." their title track, "candyland" reached the #2 spot on the korean gaon chart. the group thankfully rebounded from their last blunder, selling 64,594+ copies of the album. the tracks included the intro "invitation," their title track "candyland," "target on," "finally," "habit," "mixed signals," "always," "superstar," "love sick," "still with you," and "i need you."

Training and Idol life. 

► seonwoo's training life was very chaotic. most would that a small agency like 9x6 media would be laidback and chill, but they were the complete opposite. the training was very rigorous and strict. he had to follow a set schedule for all male trainees. seonwoo couldn't eat certain foods and had to follow a set exercise routine. he was fiercely trained in singing and dancing, mostly dancing due to be a talented singer already to begin with. his total training time lasted around a year, before seonwoo officially made his debut in a ten member boy group called "f1rstclass." while seonwoo was initially excited to debut, the mere fact of not being able to achieve any real success really bummed him and his group members. all seonwoo and the rest of f1rstclass want is just a bit of recognition and to finally achieve the success they've been yearning for.

► king of mask singer : in 2016, seonwoo appeared on the mbc show, "king of mask singer" as "most beauty uhwudong" and sang "tears" by. so chanwhee and was completely mistaken for being a girl due wearing a female hanbok. his video went viral in south korea but died down after about a week or two.
