I've come to a decision. I like Red Velvet. They aren't my favorite group. That title goes to f(x). But they do have good music and most of the members can sing pretty well. RV debuted in 2014. This group has been around for going on 3 years. 

3 years after debut...

Exo was having solo concerts

SHINee was promoting in Japan

SNSD became Korea's girl group

I just hope RV doesn't get ignored like f(x) is. I mean it took too long for f(x) to get a solo concert and it seems like their music and talent spoke for itself because the promotions . And I feel like RV is the way. 

Most of their MVs have over 50 million views and it seems like nothing is happening. It seems like they are stuck in this place. They aren't really that popular and I really wish they were. 

I see some strong similarities between the two groups and I would hate for both unique groups to be ignored by SM. Hell, I feel like f(x) was more popular 3 years in than RV is. It seems like they are rookies even though they aren't. Maybe it's the concepts that aren't appearing. Or maybe SM isn't showing their talents. I mean these girls can dance (especially Seulgi and Irene) and the dances are easy. And their music doesn't really show off their singing even though it's catchy.

I'm just hoping that SM can give some attention to RV. I hope they stop debuting new groups and focus on their existing groups.

I see potential in Red Velvet and I hope it won't be wasted.
