Nearly all my blog posts are of me shamelessly promoting my new stories or covers, so for once, I'd like to shed the light to others instead. Like I mentioned before, 2016 was a rough year for me. So instead of looking at the bad things that happened or the things that I don't have, I want to look at the things I DO have and the blessings from this year, in particular the AFF edition~
 

Award to The Story That Made Me Cry Happy Tears
"Basically Too Cheesy But Not Enough" by glances

There has only been one story that ever made me cry (10080), but this story is the second story in my life that ever made me cry. And what makes it more special is that I cried happy tears of joy, which I think is muuuuch harder to achieve than those angsty tears. Therefore I think this story is truly deserving of more attention, and you guys should all go and check it out. It described the male and female friendship so beautifully in my favorite high school setting and has an amazing sense of humor. It's WooHyunxHyunMi.. hehehehe Thank you so much for writing this story.

Award to The Story I'll Never Get Bored of Reading
"Titration" by SandA59

This short story is short written and has all the elements I truly love in a story. High school setting, cheesy guy winning over the top ranked girl. As you can guess, it's also a Woohyun x Hyunmi story. Hahahaha.. But if you wanna read something short and simple that can make your heart feel all fluttery, then I recommend you to read this. I know I will reread it again for the nth time :3 Thank you also for writing this!

Award to The Story That Inspires Me
"Angelus" by gaksitalGaksital

I've known her for quite a while, but this was the first story by her that I read. It blew me away. Like.... The way she phrases her sentences are so beautifully woven together like a beautiful painting where everything creates just the right amount of balance and harmony. Her writing style is so distinct and on par with all those top authors in my opinion. So if you wanna improve your writing, you should read any of her stories! Though she probably will say it's not true, but I feel my writings have mproved after reading her story.

Award To The Most Ridiculous Story
"The Second World" by the-one-who-keeps-changing-his-username 

Ridiculous only because it is the only story I've read whereby Woo Hyun is being the damsell in distress and requires Hyun Mi to save him. But still, the way this fantasy world is build is really nice and the descriptive language adds on to it. I just wished this story could be longer cause I like the world created. But all good things need to come to an end.

"Burnin' Up" by winspiritbeauty

Unlike many of you youngsters over here, I am age appropriate to read this kind of stuff, though I mostly don't. But it is written by another youngesr. So, I'm conflicted now. But well.. It is still one of my favorites. Hehehehehehehehhee.. Enough said. I decline to state any more opinion about this before I ahve to rate this blog post M. :3


Of course there were more stories that left a big impression. I'm not much of a reader actually, so when I reread something a lot, you should know it's really super special and dear to my heart. (And yes maybe the fact that WooMi are characters has something to do with that) But it is still worth checking out!

As an author, one can get insecure if no one reads their stories (I do too even though I always tell myself not to), so I am really grateful to have these group of super people who always reassure me that someone is reading. Be it a new chapter or a new story, they're always the first ones to comment. And I can count on them to ALWAYS comment even without me asking them to. If anyone has read Trapped in a K-Drama or Back in a K-Drama, you'd know that I explored my love for music through it and created my own OST. It's the only outlet I have to experiment with writing different genres and stuff, but I am beyond blessed whenever people tell me that they keep humming or singing to the Pig Song unconsciously, or really enjoy and even downloaded the other tracks. And I'd like to thank winspiritbeauty, UyuJoah, Lulyssahyun, Myungiepotato23 for even taking the time to cover the song!!! Like, I never expected anyone would go to that extent, so I am just reaaaally reaaaally happy you would even do that. :')

Overall, thank you (insert your username here since the code doesn't work)  for reading this. And whether we may have had a conversation or not, whether you've read any of my stories or not, or maybe even stumbled upon my singing or dancing covers, I just thank you for being ALIVE. (Oh man, suddenly it gets deep) I know there are many times when we just feel like giving up on life itself, but I thank you for being brave enough to not give up and still being here. Your presence matters despite you realizing it or not. I may not say this all the time to every individual, therefore I write it in a mass message through the blog or through my stories. I am super grateful for all the support given to me on AFF because there are arely anyone among my real life friends who knows how much I love to write and sing like this. So thank you for accepting me and for bearing with me, especially my excessive over-the-top fangirling over Woo Hyun at times. So sending me a friend request or writing on my wall. Thank you for reading my stories. You don't know how much it means to me. Though I may not have a 4000 subscribers or a golden star to every single one of my stories, but being able to make just one person happy or inspire someone through any of my stories is truly more worth it for me. But you guys are all so amazing to the point I have lost my mind and aim to publish a book. I have no idea how this will turn out and whether or not it will even work, but thank you everyone who showed support. I also apologize if I have done anything to hurt someone, whether unconsciously or consciously. I am truly sorry, and I hope that the new year will bring more joy and blessings to everyone.
