Yes, finally....DSP is doing something impressive for once

Stepping forward instead of trailing trends like they always do.

Don't get me wrong...i love DSP's traditional ways...well, not exactly..but DSP had given me so many damn amazing groups and songs that i love, more than what i ever gotten from any other company...(maybe Star Empire was close enough)...

KARA, SS501, A'ST1, Rainbow...

But DSP also has this ability to gather the awesomest and still fail them...

that's just their talent.

A'ST1 for instance...freaking amazing vocals...not just the main vocalists...(well, they only had one weaklink but that's their visual n one of the most popular member anyway)...and yet...

Finally DSP...finally you impressed me.

Finally a freaking solid debut. (ok..i think KARA's debut n SS501 debut was pretty solid too...especially KARA who actually debuted with badass tough concept rather than girly/cute/y like most girlgroups at the time...but that was so long ago...)

Finally a new kpop group's name that actually sound pretty cool n not lame. (I thought the card theme is pretty intriguing too, and the logo is pretty)

Finally something fresh and different and new...and that's coming from DS freaking P?!!

I wouldn't call this the most original thing ever...i wouldn't even say i'm crazy bout the song bcuz i'm not...yet...though it's easy listening n chill n i like that..n i might get addicted soon if i haven't subconsciously.. but you gotta admit...it's definitely different than most idolgroups...

And when i see co-ed group with cool style like this...it reminds me of Kevin(ZE:A)....this was the kinda style Star Empire should've went for Nasty Nasty instead of the annoying Troublemaker ripofff....Kevin is too freaking talented for lame concept that only make his talent buried by people's skepticism on the concept. Kyungri's so much better than to be confined in overly ualized image without much of a substance too...but the way she's marketed make it seem that's all there is to her....sigh...why do DSP n Star Empire...the two companies that have the most number of idols/singers i love are both freaking talented at messing up everything?

I'd say the weak part in this song is probly Youngji's part...then again...she's not a fixed member so it's alrite. Probly she's brought in to add in interest since she's DSP most popular idol left now.

In fact, this is like going back to the past trend of co-ed groups in Kmusic scene back in 90s...but with modern trendy touch...Kmusic also used to have so much variety/diversity in genres and sounds in mainstream stuffs before the kpop reign killed it all...and they now probly only exist in the basement...with all genericness rules. so much so that i feel the need to rave so much over just a slight different point brought in like this.

Please don't ruin them after this dsp...keep this cool concept...it might sound weird but it's rare in kpop now.

And i've been reading responses from netbuzz...it's funny how some people really try to not praise when it coems to this group just cuz they're dsp n not your typical fav companies...really...they call the song soso or just okay...when they'd hype up similar sound of their fav groups...people always increase the standard when it comes to group they're not fan of/dunno...and they always lower standard when it comes to favs.....lame.

btw....I've won my battle against SBS block...for my Hwangbo-Ji Sang Ryul 'Tragic Ending' couple vid. yay~
