Even though it hasn't been that long, I feel like I have been absent from this site since forever. At least, ever since I posted the blog for the giveaway. This update felt necessary and I really want everyone who participated -or plan on participating- to read it carefully. 

So, first of all, I think some things need to be cleared out. I've decieded to make a giveaway to thank the readers who have been faithful to my stories or have been great supporters. Of course, as announced in the original blog post, new readers were the welcome to join anytime. As I said, and I stand on my point there, I do not want any descrimination to be done and I want this giveaway to be as equal as humanly possible. 

I saw my deepest wish being granted when you guys participated even more than I could ever think of. Some of you I recognised from various stories of mine and I couldn't help the smile from spreading on my face as I read your comments. 

However, and I would lie to say I didn't excpect it to some points, some people obviously participated just for the giveaway. As I said, new readers are the welcome but those people who are there just for the sake of earning something for free are easy to recognise. First off, they didn't read the rules right. I don't say that all of those who did a little thing differently from what was indicated were unhonest, far from that, but some are easy to pinpoint. 

The goal of this giveaway, may I remind everyone, is to share love and affection. I do this to tell you that I love you and that I care about your opinions. You help me build a structure to rely on as I step closer to my dream of being a writer everyday and that's quite something. The only thing I asked in return was that you guys did a small review, telling what you loved about this particular fanfic. That was your way to return a bit a love. Also, you were welcome to tell me what you thought I should work on -thing I am infinitly grateful for- as long as it is well contructed. 

What I mean is that those persons, that I quickly percieved as non-readers, did follow the rules and did a review, only they only did point out the bad things. It happened many times and, I beseech you not to think I am just badly taking the comments, but that it hurt me to see that it was not well intented. You see, I can take the critics. I know I do a lot of mistakes still. For Pete's sake, English isn't my mother tongue and I do work hard but I accept the fact I am not -and probably won't ever be- perfect. I respect one's opinion. If they would have prefered something a certain way, by all means, go ahead and tell me. I would love to perceive things on another level and maybe see them on a different way. 

But I highly doubt something constructive would come out of comments telling stuff like  ' Oh , it was boring'  ,  ' It has too much details' or ' It looks too much like this or that'. Please, before commenting something, and it works for EVERY STORY ON THE SITE, think twice. Some words hurt more than you would think and you never know what the person on the other side is living. Sometimes the authors are holding on to that little piece of imagination they tried to put into life and those comments can be a lot more destructive than you would ever think. 

So, on this note, I hope you guys will take out a small lesson out of this. For 98% of the people who participated, the reviews were well made and I have nothing more to add so, please, do not feel point out by this if you know you are not. I just really wanted to let go of all this since I really had enough recently and I feel like, somehow, I could not really take one more of those bad intented comments.
