Sistar is the only girl group left

Honestly, Sistar is the only girl group left that is special to me.

Since 2012, when I began my obsession with Kpop, I have had this list of girl groups that I loved. And it remained unchanged for the longest time.

F(X)

2NE1

Miss A

Sistar

SNSD

How many of these groups still have all their original members??

One group: Sistar

f(x) lost Sulli and you never see Victoria because she's always in China. The only members in the spotlight are Amber and Luna.

Minzy is unfortunately leaving 2ne1 T_T

Jia (my bias and unofficial leader) is leaving Miss A.

SNSD lost Jessica and Tiffany's debut was a flop in my opinion.

In addition 4minute will disband. I was just starting to like them too.

I'm putting all my hope into Sistar and Starship ent.

What is happening to the groups I fell in love with years ago. Don't get me wrong. There are many girl groups that I like. Exid is one of my favorite groups. There's Red Velvet, AOA, 9muses, and Mamamoo. But they will never replace the groups that are special to me. (Maybe Exid can)

Sistar is a very talented group and their new song slayed. They are always so classy and refreshing. I will continue to follow them, but PLEASE don't lose any members because I don't think I can take anymore loss :(

sistar is probably starship's biggest income earner, so i don't think they'll let go of them that easy. not only that, but the girls are pretty much scandal free and have amazing producers, if they're music success is anything to go by. and compared to both yg and jyp, starship has a good roster in terms of artist promotions. i think bom's controversy ruined the group and minzy felt as though yg was closing her within a box so she had little opportunities for promotions. jyp is really really bad at promoting their groups. miss a's 'only you' could have won music shows but jyp chose to overlap his promotions with miss a.
i think most people saw 4minute's disbandment coming. the girls' albums were becoming less and less successful. their top two albums in terms of sales were released in 2011 and 2012, and they've been on the decline since then - expect album sales for crazy did spike a bit. cube called in skrillex in hopes to regain the popularity 4minute once had, but of course that flopped, leading to their disbandment. their company is also pretty bad at managing them.
victoria is such a gem in f(x). she receives nothing but praise and admiration but, like you said, she's always in china. amber is releasing a bunch of her own works, but that is mainly received by international audiences. if i remember correctly, netizens didn't view krystal's dating news/rumors positively, so the group took quite a hit from that. luna has her solo promotions but i hadn't heard much from that matter. if the sulli controversy didn't happen, i still think the group would be struggling. the only upside of her leave from the group is the fandom finally got a name and their 1st concert. sm is really at promoting the group, and i have no idea why..
i think snsd's whirlpool of chaos happened because of miscommunication and greed. i think jessica wanted to kick start her business whilst she was still promoting with snsd but would choose to leave within a year or so to fully focus+
