So I'm watching SMTM again. :) I don't know how I found myself watching this, but I dunno, escapism is a full-time gig. Heh. Whatever. I got to say that I usually have people I go in for in these shows. At SMTM3, I wasn't a full Bobby-convert, but I liked him enough, and funnily, I went into SMTM4 for Mino, eventhough I am something of a Mino-hater (please, forgive sevvy. I don't hate him anymore. Haha)

But for SMTM5, I had no one. I just like this show, apparently. Despite it's many, many flaws, I just like Korean Hiphop and this is just the right place to be to get to know Korean rappers who want to be known. Going in, I do notice familiar faces, and I do have a favourite! It's BeWhy because I liked him in SMTM4! I liked him more than Microdot, and Giriboy, heh (that was then, I am now pretty much head over heels for GRBOY-beb). But he got cut, and I am just so happy to see him back and getting his much deserved spotlight. I just like BeWhy's tone and tempo, and I really want him to take it to the finish line and he has to take on really high hurdles such as the charismatic CJAMM, formidable G2... and others that I am just too lazy to mention. I am BeWhy all the way, eventhough, I am a reluctant CJAMM fan! OTL He's so cool, lol. I think he makes me blush. And CJAMM just got so much sevvy points when he said GRBOY in his second performance. I am just... /fans self

I mean, I really need to get this out of the way and talk about the reimage of CJAMM, because I'm sure if you watched SMTM3, you must remember CJAMM is not cool swag back then, he was more of a hot aggressor, and I remember Tablo saying he doesn't think CJAMM fits this kind of music. And I agree. I mean, CJAMM always raps so well, but I never liked him, liked him, because it felt like Swings was the one who made his rap decisions, like do this, do that kind of thing, and I might, of course, reading him all wrong, but back in SMTM3, I felt his intensity is pretty much contrived. So even if he rapped well, he wasn't just doing it for sevvy. Sorry, CJAMM.

Then, this year, I think CJAMM just grew into it. I just buy into his chill persona, and I dunno, I looked into his music and he still has intensity, but it's his, now. I just... He makes me blush, and I don't want to blush, goddamit. Hahaha. Whatever.

G2 is also growing on me because he's so lowkey when he's not rapping, but when he raps he's a tiger... and he gives of a rocker vibe perhaps it's the dreads. I am not in love with him, but I am looking forward to his performances.

I also like Lil Swan. I just like his vibe and flow. Again, not in love with this guy, but I like him way better than Junflo. :3

And One. Oh One, poor baby. It's hard to watch him this season. Ack, this is like B.I. Part 2. I think he is being crushed by pressure, but got to give him chops for pushing back. He's not performing well, and really if it were any other season, he would have been cut down really early. Hopefully, he triump over his slump. I miss being One-impressed.

But the star of this post is MyunDo. MYUNDO HE'S SO IN GOOD. I know, I know. I might just be turnt (lol for trying to be hip) because DOK2 and the other judges loved this performance to the moon and back then took a ticket for another round trip. I really liked this though. My favourite by far in this season. I just like how fun this performance is, and his flow and wit just slays me. I hate this whole dabbing phenomena but I may have unwillingly dabbed to this (you will never know).

I am just... in love with this. The encore was well deserved. This was so fun. So, so fun.

I cling to the soles of BeWhy this season and still praying it's Be to the top. CJAMM and Myundo is sharing my number two spot and damn it CJAMM, you can't charm me with your chill. No. No. No.
