Need Your Help.

Well , I won't go around the point. I really want to do something that I never thought I would do.

I want to send a fan letter. Okok , don't call me desperate or whatsoever. There is only one person I would ever send one to and it is no one else than my dear little baby, Taehyung. I already wrote the English version of the letter. I simply need help for the translation and some quick infos.

I know it is recommended to call them by a title , such as '  Oppa ' and stuff. I really want to call him Oppa but the problem is that I am like 4 days older. Would it still work? Would it be too much? I really don't want to look like the crazy type of fan. I just want to know better so , if ever you know some facts that you think would be helpful for me to know , feel free to comment below.

I only want to send a letter to thank him (and the rest of the boys ) for their hard work. This is mostly to tell him that I appreciate his unique personality and that I hope the best for him. The typical fan stuff , you know.

I know he most likely won't ever reply , but I just want to show him some support as a fan ^^

So , is there any Korean expects here that might be willing to help? Or do you know  some reliable translation sources?

Thanks for help guys.

Love you guys <3

In Korea I don't think you would be considered Noona to him since you're not at least a year older, but you guys are the same age so you would be considered friends. But you can always act like you're younger Lol. Sadly I don't know any Korean, but I'm learning. I hope you can find someone to help translate! *sad foreigner problems*

Well, girl, about the oppa thing, since you're not Korean, they won't always expect you to use the honorifics although I'm sure they love it. In your case, since you guys are a few days apart, technically the whole oppa/noona thing doesn't apply, from what I've been told. But as a way of respect and since you don't know him, you could refer to him as Taehyung-ssi. The -ssi is a formal way of addressing someone, sometimes when you've just met. You can explain in the letter why you don't know if you should call him oppa or say you're a noona. It's your choice really, since he doesn't know you're birthday anyway.
As for the translation, you should find someone who is Korean and know english or just sent it as it is. They should all have a level of english and if he doesn't know something, Rap Monster should be able to translate since he knows English. And if it helps, V knows Japanese ;)

I dont know man this is a hard predicament. You could probably address him as sunbae because although he is younger than you he is professionally higher as an artist. You could also explain that you're a noona and wasn't sure if you should call him oppa or not. I would try to keep the letter as polite as possible regardless.

That's a super great idea, I've never thought about that before for some reason xD And I say that you have to go for it, totally! I really hope you can find someone who can help you with the translation and such. Give him (them) some (international lol) love, girl!

Good luck!!! ^O^

You can call him oppa as respect, I think. It'll be just fine. :)
