style — Aerin doesn't really care about dressing up. As long as it's comfy, she'll wear it. Don't get me wrong, she knows how to pair up clothes so that she looks amazing, it's just that she values comfort over everything else. She doesn't stick to one particular style either. She'll wear any type of clothing: chic, cute, edgy, feminine. As long as it's comfortable.

personality — 

 

     Aerin is determined to always be better than what she was before. Not because of other people's expectations, but because of her own expectations of herself. You can always hear about her determination daily. Be it whether she got better marks on her test, she scored more goals as one of the chasers of Gryffindor or she has stood up to a teacher again over something trivial. Aerin is also very righteous, choosing to stand up to her teachers or even headmaster if she thinks that her friend or herself is being scolded for the wrong thing, or robbed of her marks. She is awfully witty and sassy, rendering anyone speechless for at least a few seconds due to her quick replies and sharp tongue. 

 

        However, Aerin can also get stubborn. She will never admit she is wrong, even if it is obvious she is the wrong one. She can get naive in some cases as well, choosing to believe that everyone around her is on the good side, not the bad side. She is proud and arrogant, having a lot of confidence in herself. Though not really being that bad of a quality, her never-ending confidence can get annoying. She can also be quite narrow-minded, choosing to stick to the textbook when it comes to problems. If she reads that something should be done this way, she will always do it the way the textbook says to do, even if she knows it's not that good of a solution.

EXPECTO PATRONUM. 

 

background — Aerin was spoilt as a kid. She grew up in a fairly magical household as her mother's family came to visit often. Her brother, who is also a wizard, taught her things when Aerin was growing up. Her dad, not wanting Aerin to become naïve about muggle ways, decided to bring her out often and show her the muggle ways. Aerin was taught that lying was bad, or anythhing of the sort. It was grilled into her, especially after her dad cheated on her mother. He had hidden it form the family for a few years and was only revealed when Aerin saw the texts he was giving to various other women on his phone. Because of this, Aerin's whole world almost fell apart. If it wasn't for the strength her mother had and the support her brother had provided Aerin with, she wouldn't have come out as happy and carefree as she is now. Now, Dabi lives in another part of England. Aerin doesn't know, neither does Aejung and Gyura. They cut off their ties with Dabi and had never looked back. They don't know how he's doing, and neither do they want to know. He had really affected all of them with his lies and Gyura had kicked him out of the house first chance she got. Aerin got through the muggle school life easily with the help of her brother. Her mother, being a witch, wasn't that helpful. Upon staring at a math paper, she had shook her head and burnt it. Aerin was always determined to be good and righteous so that she would not end up like her dad, hurting other people. However, some traits still stayed because of how spoilt she was in her earlier years.

▪ Mother (Kim Gyura | 45 | Pure blooded | Stay-at-home mother)

▪ Gyura is very stubborn and strong-willed, often getting into stupid arguments with her own son about simple things. However, she is very cheerful and friendly and has a lot of connections in the wizarding world. Despite the amount of hardships she has gone through because of her husband, she still firmly believes in the good in people. She is knowledgeable on how cunning and sly people can get just to get what they want as well. However, she is a perfectionist and her nagging can get out of hand. Gyura loves Aerin a lot and that is seen by how she treats her, often spoiling her. (That doesn't eman Aerin doesn't get in trouble though)

 

 

▪ Father (Jung Dabi | 50 | muggle | preofessor of psychology)

▪ Dabi is very hypocritical. He is kind, righteous and optimistic but then he's also rude, reckless and can get pessimistic at select times. Aerin didn't see how hypocritical he was before the 'incident', but afterewards, she was amazed at herself for not noticing it sooner. They used to be very close and went out a lot, but now they're like strangers to each other. 

 

▪ Older brother (Kim Aejung | 26 | half-blood | student/Ravenclaw)

▪ He's intelligent and wise. He can be a bit of a know-it-all, but he means well. He's very genuine and he can't lie well either. However, he can get a bit possessive and overprotective, especially over Aerin.  Despite that, Aerin and Aejung are very close and there's nothing else to say.

▪ BFF (Heo Youngji | 24/ Year 5 | Pure-blood | Student/Slytherin)

▪ Hana is ambitious and daring, always capable of doing anything to get what she wants or to protect her loved ones. She is very generous and you can always depend on her if you want to get something. She can be very sly and cunning, tricking others into doing what they do not want to do for her wellbeing and just for fun. However, she doesn't do that often and is instead very kind to her loved ones. However, if you hurt her loved ones, that's when she'll whip out her sly and cunning, to hurt you. 

 

▪ BFF (Lee Seungyeol | 24/Year 5 | Mudblood | Student/Gryffindor)

▪ Seungyeol is Aerin's sassy and witty Ravenclaw friend. He is a teacher's pet, which shocks all the teachers as he is friends with Aerin. He is very outoging and has a lot of friends and fans, being one of the best members in the Dueling Club. Seungyeol, however, is clingy and whiny, not liking anything to do with dirt or things he doesn't like in general. However, you can always count on him to be a friend to lean on when you're in trouble. He'll always come to save Aerin and Hana from getting too bad of a punishment. He can fight with Aerin as well with his sassiness and wit, and together, they cause silence with their sharp tongues. 

 

▪ Pet (Terry | Teens | does he really need this | Pet)

▪ Terry is Aerin's pet chinchilla! Aejung and Aerin were off buying pets in the pet shop, and while Aejung had chosen a white cat, Aerin saw Terrry and fell in love. At the time, Terry wasn't in a good condition and was being abused by the shop owners. Deciding to rescue him, Aerin had bought him and had treated him well ever since. Now, Terry is healthier and lovable and playful! He likes hanging around Aerin whenever possible, (Like literally around her body). He's always just in her robe pockets in class and standing on her shoulders outside of class. 

THE WIZARD INSIDE ME. 

HOW DID THEY FEEL ON THEIR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL / ON THEIR WAY TO THE CASTLE? — I felt so excited and nervous - I was finally going to attend the school Aejung had been telling me about for a few years! I was sad that I was going to be apart from all my other friends and also Eomma, but we all knew that I was gonna visit during the holidays anyway. I had to lie to my muggle friends though, and I felt bad but it was the only way *intense frowing*

 

DID THEY GOT INTO THE HOUSE THEY WANTED TO GET IN? — Yup! Gryffindor was the one I'd always thought that I suited. I always knew I was daring, and hearing the other characteristics, I knew I was destined for Gryffindor. But Hufflepuff wouldn't have been bad either. 

 

DO THEY TAKE THEIR STUDYING SERIOUSLY? — *deep thought* Well, of course. I love wizard classes in general but because of my sass and my daringness, teachers often pause lessons to scold me. Due to that, our lessons become more rushed just to finish the syllabus in time for exams. But, I love classes and I will always take my classes seriously. 

 

how do they behave in class? — I think I behave fine but looking back, I don't think so. *Laughs* I often sass my teachers and tell them whether anything is wrong and I cause trouble for the other students because teachers will have to pause the lessons just to scold me. However, other than that, I pay attention to classes! As I said before, I just really like wizarding classes. 

what is their best/worst subject? — My best subject is transifguration while my worst is *shudders*, history of magic. I like history of magic and all that, but the teacher drones on and on, and it gets boring for me. Even Seung Yeol gets bored, which I think is amazing, seeing as he's a major teacher's pet. 

 

WHo is their favourite teacher and why? — I like the headmaster - He's really funny and friendly! But he's still very responisble and caring for all of us and I think it's amazing. He's not the headmaster for nothing, I guess. 

 

WHo is their least favourite teacher and why? — Ji Seokjin-nim or the history of magic teacher. I don't like history of magic anymore, and he can get super boring during class. 

 

WHAT DO THEY EAT? — I don't eat breakfast much. When I do, it's either just a glass of water or a slice of bread. I eat a lot for lunch though and my dinner is usually heavy as well. I'm not a picky eater so I can eat anything, as long as there's rice. 
 

WHAT DO THEY think of people with a different blood status? — I'm fine with it, considering I have a mudblood friend and another pure blood friend. Considering I'm also a half blood myself, I don't really see why people have a problem with it. In the end, they're still people, right?

WHAT DO THEY think of the other houses? — I like everything, even Slytherin. Just because they're ambitious, doesn't mean they're evil, right? But Gryffindor is still the best! Hufflepuffs are very loyal and nice, and I think they shouldn't be looked down on, I find it really sad how they have a reputation of being just idiots? Ravenclaw is still the same though - smart and intelligent people. Look at Seung Yeol, studies so much and is a teacher's pet. They're nice friends to have though, nonetheless. 

 

WHAT is their opinion on quidditch? — I love it, being the chaser for the Gryffindor team! But it's very gruelling and very tiring. It makes me ache all over, with bruises too. My legs and arms get covered with bruises and wounds because of the bludgers. 

I SOLEMNLY SWEAR.

        Sunggyu is very friendly and is a social butterfly, probably having friends from all four houses, despite his bad reputation. He is very outgoing and even though he always causes trouble, a lot of the teachers like him and always let him off easy. He is also very caring towards his friends and loved ones, a side not a lot of people know about him. He can get very motherly soemtimes out of care and concern - "yAH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH A PEN KNIFE?! That's it- I'm confiscating it. nO YOU ARE A FOETUS YOU AREN'T ALLOWED WITH A PEN KNIFE." Like every slytherin, Sunggyu is very ambitious and daring. He will reach for the stars, the moon and the sun, not just one thing. He believes that he can do anything, as long as he believes. He has a good sense of humour and likes making people laugh. Whenever you're sad, you can trust this guy to make you laugh in delight. 

 

             Sunggyu is very sly and cunning, showing his snake side often. He has a lot of rumours circulating him, saying that he cheated in his History of Magic exam, earning him a bad repuation. THe rumour has never been confirmed though, and no one knows whether it's true or not. If he wants something or someone, he will get it, by any means possible. He is very short-tempered and anything can set him off - even loud music will make him scream at you. Everyone has to be on their tiptoes around him, being careful not to blow his fuse. Sunggyu can get very frank as well, often just saying things bluntly to strangers. It is very disarming to everyone, when the first thing he says to you is "You smell weird."

RELATIONSHIP  — They act very lovey-dovey around each other. Not in the uncomfortable way, in the cute, adorable-flirting way. When they're around each other, it can go either way: Either they collaborate to be more insufferable or they get very sweet and caring to you. There's no middle. Or it can be both, where they do it to confuse people. But generally, they act very sweet and kind to and around each other and are very biased towards each other.
