▸ jinsoo looks weak and feminine, and no one can really deny it. Especially since his style is somewhat nerdy chic, he looks like a really easy target to pick on. He's also quite thin and very pale, so he really doesn't seem like someone that can fight for himself. However, he has a really adorable face and with those big black glasses, he looks even cuter, and if he wasn't such a nerd, girls might like him.

PERSONALITY :　jinsoo is extremely friendly to anyone, even if he doesn't know them. He doesn't like holding grudges to anyone, even his bullies. He knows that everyone has reasons for what they do and since he doesn't know why his bullies wold do that, he doesn't like judging them. He is also particlarly sassy, more so than anyone wold expect from him. He's a very funny and humouros presence, especially to his mother who always arrives home late and tired form work. He is very positive and believes in looking at the brighter side of things. Being negative won't bring you anywhere and looking realistically at life will eventually make you become a pessimist, so why not be positive abot things? Jinsoo is very understanding and often does not require anyone to explain their life or decisions to him for Jinsoo to understand where they're coming from.

Jinsoo is very curious, thus why he's very wise and knowledgable. He goes looking into things that he can't find an answer to, so that he won't be bothered as much. He dislikes not knowing or understanding anything. Curiousity killed the cat, his mother would say. Satisfaction brought it back, he replied cheekily. He's very frugal with his money due to his family situation and doesn't like wasting money on useless things. He's often tempted because of his curiousity, but he has discipline (or he would like to belive he does).

Jinsoo can be very frank and blunt with his words. Due to him being curioious and never having a lot of friends, he's not good with interacting and doesn't know when something is too honest. He's not afraid of telling people when they're being mean or rude, and that can come out being mean and him having no manners. He's quite short-tempered if you know how to push his buttons - noisy eating, naivety, high pitched voices, acting cute on purpose, not paying attention in class and getting all As... He hates them and wishes they would just disappear. Still, his anger lasts for only a few seconds and nothing more, so it isn't really scary when he gets angry. He's very picky with the way things are arranged. He dislikes anything messy, and will just instinctively clean it up and sort it out properly.

BACKGROUND :　moon jinsoo grew up in a really poor family, with his father leaving his mother shortly after he was born and his mother a mere nurse in a run-down hospital. She earned barely enough money to keep the house and keep him in school, so he always urged himself to make her efforts count and not just waste her hard-earned money. Despite their difficult situation, jinsoo was always very positive and filial to his mother. He looked at the bright side of things because pessimism never helped anyone. Having no other siblings and no father, he's very close and always yelped her around the house, even sometimes doing part-time jobs to help them in times of dire need. Thus why he never fooled around with his studies as he's very serious about his mother and the effort she put in for her family. Him working hard and always helping around the house with the chores also gave him very little time to make friends, even in school as jinsoo is always studying. due to this, he's quite the loner and doesn't really have a lot of friends, but tons of bullies.

Moon jinsoo's college fees were the subject of his mother's grief for a long time - she wanted him to get into college despite their low funds, and so since high school, she started saving up for his fees and made a college fund as well. Jinsoo helped her by getting a scholarship so that the fees will be lower, and getting jobs to help her pay as well.

▸ yes, sure. why not? I'd like to see them in real life though - I've researched a lot about them in the library and would really like to see some real-life action, just to see that my belief isn't baseless.

Do you think the ghosts are creatures to fear? :

▸ no, I don't think so. From what I've read, ghosts only stay on this plane if they have any unfinished business and don't really bother humans if they don't need to. So they usually just stay out of the way.

What does jyeosaeng mean to you? :

▸ it's my home. Even though I'd like to visit other places and other countries, see what the world is like outside jyeosaeng, i would always miss and come back home to jyeosaeng.

if you died today, would you be able to move on from this life? :

▸ hm... probably not i guess, if i really admit it to myself. Just because of that one incident, i've been harboring a really intense hate for the class pres, so i guess i wouldn't move on. I'd like to move on though. I really would.

▸ sunggyu, despite first impressions, is actually quite short-tempered, believe it or not. When things don't go according to plan, he starts getting stressed and frustrated. sunggyu is reserved and likes sticking to the korean culture of respect to elders (which jinsoo doesn't really like sticking to so bless the both of them). he doesn't show his true personality or tell anyone he isn't close to his opinions, rarely showing emotions. he's also usually quiet, unless made excited or angered.

he's surprisingly excitable, and gets joyous easily if shown affection or given something he likes. don't let first impressions fool you. he's very helpful and disciplined, as expected from him and would easily help you, but not to the point where he lets you use him. He's not easy to get close to as he's disciplined and knows just how far a spirit-human relationship can go, making it surprising for jinsoo to get so close to him.

BACKGROUND :

▸ he grew up in a very strict and rich household, his parents and teachers always telling him to be disciplined and not 'fool around with those below you'. For the first few school years, he was home-schooled and continued to have no friends except his strict teachers and equally as strict parents as he grew up a single child. He first attended school in high-school, excited to finally have people his own age that he can talk to and play with. However, schoolmates disliked his rich attitude and habit of spending money easily as he didn't have to be careful with his funds. He was then bullied quickly on in his new school year, by poor people who disliked his way of life and not taking into account his situation. Halfway into his highschool life, when he was already beginning to repress his true emotions and personality into himself as he had no one to talk to, he was cornered in an alleyway as he was walking home by the bullies in school. Since before that incident he had already been beaten up before, he was in bad condition and his bullies didn't notice until very much later, that he was not breathing nor moving. They had beaten him to death.

INTERACTIONS : they're a funny pair of friends - but we must first get to how they became friends. jinsoo had work after school and by the time he got off, it was already 11 at night. Knowing his mother would be worried sick by the time he came home if he took the normal way (especially since he had no phone), he took the shorter way home which was through an alleyway no one really went through due to rumours of it being haunted. as he was halfway through, he saw someone in his peripherals walking farther beside him, as if looking after him and making sure he doesn't get hurt. Not saying anything, he rushed back home, not forgetting about what he saw. The next day, a Saturday, he came back to the alleyway and paced around it continuously until Sunggyu got angry and popped up (after like ten minutes lol). Jinsoo did that repetitively for the next few days until Sunggyu eventually gave up and started talking to him, asking why he did it. It continued like that for a while, since jinsoo is very stubborn when it comes to him being curious, and sunggyu found himself getting more comfortable and more comfortable with jinsoo until they were both the best of friends and 'brothers from another mother'. However, they fight a lot and argue a lot over stupid things, like the lack of 'hyung' when jinsoo calls for sunggyu but despite their frequent fights, they love each other a lot and are very close.
