What is this? Did you know that AFF is celebrating its 7th year of being up and running? Every year we have thought of ways to commemorate this special date by doing various activities.
With that being said, this year we have decided to make it all about you with these 45 questions, interview with yourself, survey, quiz—whichever you wanted to call it haha.
Why are we doing 45 Questions? Because... it's fun. Don't question.
Our theme for this year is the freesia, when given on the 7th Anniversary it upholds trust and faithfulness within a bond. The freesia is also a symbol of friendship. It was named freesia after Friedrich H. T. Freese by fellow botanist Christian P. Ecklon, as a tribute to their friendship.
This day marks seven years of trust, faithfulness and friendship with the site, it's creator and the community. As a thank you to all participants, we leave you with a thank you message from the creator of AFF himself.

Jason created Asianfanfics as a favour to a good friend of his, who was getting fristrated because another website kept deleting her stories.

Back then I was only active on Twitter. Everyone was talking about certain stories or posted liks to new chapters they just uploaded.

A friend of mine wrote a story about 2PM here. As I wanted to support her I created a account and subscribed her story. After that I started to find more stories and I even found my way back into writing.

Well... I always save them for my birthday in hopes to win the bid for the advertise on that day. Sadly I didn't have enough Karma to win it so far.

Danateske. She is a really good friend of mine. She encouraged me to keep on writing and helped me a lot with my stories (she was my beta reader for a few chapters and she listen(ed) to the stories I have / had in mind)

There are so many. I read stories from so many good authors that inspired me
31. If you could put a star on any of your fics/threads, which one would you pick?
Missing Piece. It's not nearly finished but I have big plans for it, which makes me really excited.

Where do I begin??? I've read so many wonderfuly written stories over the past 4 years. That list would be massiv!

There are so many!!!
I love to read the stories from ThanhXuan, FirstAnothersujufan, crime-tsumi, bluestee and RC_Lillie a lot. However, there are so many other authors with wonderfuly written stories I read. I think it'll be impossible to list everyone T.T

hmmm... Which one should I choose? Let's just say the last one I read that I really really enjoyed. That was 'The Flower Poet' by negiramen

Meeting so many people who love the same groups and OTP's as I am

My interest in stories changed. In the begining I only read stories with OC's and didn't dare to read a boyxboy story. Then EunHae happened. Now I only read stories with my OTP's and rarely (or better say I don't) read stories with OC's
40. There are many communities now on AFF (such as the writing, designing, coding, applyfic, roleplay, reader communities). Is there a community that you aren't part of but want to try one time?
I'm absolutly happy with the communities I'm in right now
41. What is the best thing AFF or being a member of AFF taught you?
AFF thought me to find joy in writing again. When I joined I was 'only' a reader. In my past I was writing so much but then school and final exams happened... back then I had to stop and somehow never started again. After joining AFF I figured out that something was missing and that I still have lot's of stories in my head that want's to be told.
42. What is your greatest contribution to the site so far?
Nothing... I think? Well... most probably nothing.
43. What are your current AFF goals?
To win the advertisement for one of my stories on my birthday next year!
44. If the AFF community decides to do a get-together, how should we spend it and where?
Let's all meet in Korea ^____^
Almost everyone here want's to go there one day so that would be a great oportunity. We could all have a meal toghether and get to know each other in real life too. That would be great
