It's been a while since I last uploded a blog or a fanfic / one-shot on here. Sadly, I had to put way more effort and time into school than I expected a year ago. However, the year is almost over and I'll be able to write again *party*

However, the reason for this blog isn't my personal situation and my fanfics but a event that is organised by friends of mine from the JJProject Amino. This summer they'll be hosting / sponsoring their first JJProject fic fest.

What's a fic fest?
A fic fest is an event where authors create a story during a short periode of time. All stories will be presented and uploaded by the hosts so people can guess who wrote which fanfic.

This fic fest is a general one, meaning there’s no specific genre or topic. We will have a prompt archive of prompts for authors to choose from but authors are welcome to use an idea of their own. The prompt archive will have several genres of prompts to pick from and we welcome any and all JJP fans to submit their ideas!

There will be three categories of writing submissions:

Drabbles: 300 - 1,000 words

One Shots: 1,000 - 4,000 words

Large Fics: can be sectioned into at least two or more parts that are 2,000 words each.

Where will the stories be uploaded?
The stories will be uploaded in a collection on Ao3. After the reveal authors can post their stories on other sites too.

For who is this fic fest?
This fic fest is for new authors, expirianced authors as well as people who would love to give writing JJProject fanfics a try. Readers are welcome too ^__^

Where do I get the newest informations and updates?
The fic fest will be hosted over tumblr, twitter and Amino. On all platforms you'll receive the latest news to the event. They have uploaded the first infos to the event already (introduction, schedule).

Prompting time: 06/20/17 - 06/30/17
Sign-up: 07/01/17 - 07/08/17
Writing period: 07/08/17 - 08/27/17
Story submission & Beta-ing: 08/27/17 - 09/02/17
Fic posting: 09/03/17 - TBD

Who are the hosts?
The JJProject Amino is a lovely and friendly community that is all about the ship of Park JinYoung and Im JaeBum from GOT7. The hosts of the JJProject Amino created a very warm and welcoming community that makes you feel like returning home to your family. The center of the JJProject Amino are the chat-rooms (especially the Spazz-chat), the blogs and the challenges (there will be a new challenge every weekend). Another very special thing about the community is the fanfic channel. Not only will you find JJP fanfic recommandations there but also specially written chaptered JJP fanfics by selected members (Those fanfics are only posted there and will not be posted anywhere else until all the fanfics of the current season are finished. As of right now season one is still on going but the leaders announced season two already). 

Amino itself is a free app with communities about almost any theme you can imagine (kpop, specific bands, k-dramas, ships, fanfics etc.). The App is a great way to get to know new people with similar interests.

As you've seen, right now is the prompt periode. If you have a prompt you like and you want to see JJP staring it, please submite it here. However, as this fic fest has an author claming method planed there is no garantee that the prompt will be taken.
