After two and a half years of driving on a permit with my mother, Saturday March 5th I took my road test and passed it!! 

*raise my virtual glass for a toast*

I was stressing the out and postponing it for months. And finally I just needed to build up enough courage and DO IT!! It was soooo easy. I was worried for no reason. I thought I had to be the perfect driver but that wasn't true at all. My test instructor was very easy going. After the parking which I executed almost perfectly, she directed me to the street. I made a few left and right turns and lane changes. I got on the highway for 1 exit. And that was it. My whole test took less than 30 minutes. It had snowed the night before so the roads were slick. I couldn't go any faster than 35 miles per hour which also helped in my passing. I can't believe it was that simple to pass. I was literally preparing to fail. But I succeeded. I'm so proud of myself >.<

Today I went to get my license at the secretary of state. The wait was long. It took us an hour and a half but it was worth it. My very first license will be coming in the mail within 3 weeks.

I'm so excited to finally go where I want to go and do what I want to do. I'm a little nervous to have the lack of an extra pair of eyes for the first time but I think I'll be OK. My mom's going to fix up her old car for me until we save up enough money to buy a new one.

The first place I will go is to the mall with my friends~~
