THE PAST MADE ME WHO I AM NOW

BACKGROUND // kameki was born in a complicated family. complicated as they were, they often put a bright mask when they were outside. To their neighbours, they were picture perfect and were often envied. However, once they were safe inside their house, that was when everything was taken off and all the niceties were gotten rid of. Kameki's mother was abusive and an alcoholic. she abused kameki everytime she had free time: when she arrived home from work, when they were all alone in the house, even outside but of course, secretly. Kameki was an only child and the only one who was able to help kameki was her father. But even then, her father was a monster when angered and sometimes helped out her mother at abusing kameki when he got angry. 

kameki's father, soojung, was nice and soothed kameki if her mother went too far. soojung helped treat her wounds, and the got very close, as much as a parent and a child could go close. however, soojung had his anger issues, and took his anger out on kameki often. still, kameki went to her father for any problems. one day, when kameki's mother was still out in work and only kameki and her father were left alone in the house, soojung locked he and kameki in an empty room. he begun to corner kameki into a corner and despite how much kameki screamed or shouted, no one came to help. in the middle of the , her mother barged in, stared and cackled. she closed the door. soojung turned to his daughter with a vicious smirk and kameki sobbed, looking away. 

in school, kameki was avoided by the teachers and her fellow schoolmates, often being called the 'weird' one or the 'rich' one. she ended up not being able to trust anyone, no one she could go to, no one she could run to. not even the one she trusted the most, her father, could be trusted anymore. Her mother worked in the police force, so like hell she was going to call them for help. by word of mouth and internet research, a sixteen year old (international) kameki found out about two spy agencies that promised safety and exact execution of missions and you could even report your own missions and both of them would solve it quickly. the two agencies were kapae and ooyu. She called kapae first, but when kameki informed them about her situation they rejected her mission, saying it was too 'trivial'. kameki got angered, and instead called ooyu. Upon hearing her problems, ooyu sent an agent. kameki was escorted out of her house and her parents were taken care of. 

when given a choice of adoptive parents to be adopted by, kameki looked at the boss and said, "i want to join you. i want to make sure that no girl ever goes through my past, or that no one ever dismisses their situation as being to trivial." And so, she was accepted into ooyu as a spy.

ELABORATION //

KAMEKI IS EXTREMELY LOYAL AND COMMITED TO HER LINE OF WORK. THE REASON IS BECAUSE OF HER FAMILY: OOYU AND HER TEAM. NOW THAT SHE FINALLY FOUND A FAMILY SHE COULD DEPEND AND GO TO AT TIMES OF NEED, SHE WILL STAY EXTREMELY LOYAL. BECAUSE OF HER PAST CIRCUMSTANCES, SHE IS VERY COMMITTED TO MAKE SURE THAT NOTHING LIKE THAT EVER HAPPENS TO ANYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD, WHETHER OR NOT THEY'RE GIRLS OR BOYS. KAMEKI HAS SLIGHT OCD, AND BECAUSE OF THAT SHE IS NEAT AND DETAILED ABOUT EVERYTHING. HER WORK, HER MISSIONS, HER HOUSE. EVEN WHEN SHE IS NOT IN HER HOUSE OR IN PUBLICS, SHE WILL FIX SOMETHING IF SHE THINKS IT LOOKS MESSY. OR MAYBE EVERYThING IF EVERYTHING IS MESSY. SHE HAS A PLAN READY IN MIND BEFORE DOING MISSIONS SO THAT SHE CAN EXECUTE IT CLEANLY AND NEATLY. SHE IS VERY UNDERSTANDING AND HER TEAMMATES OFTEN GO TO HER TO RANT ON SOMEONE, OR EVERYTHING. SHE WON'T JUDGE THEM, SHE'LL UNDERSTAND AND LISTEN TO THEM PATIENTLY. Because of these, she is very trusted by her team mates, even if she's such a worrywort, they know they can trust her, whatever the circumstance. 

 SHE IS ALWAYS WORRYING WHETHER OOYU WILL FIRE HER OR WHETHER HER. SHE NEVER TRULY RECOVERED FROM HER PAST, AND SHE'S ALWAYS WORRYING WHETHER SHE'LL BE LEFT ALL ALONE AGAIN. EVEN IF THAT KIND OF WORRY IS UNREASONABLE, SHE'LL STILL WORRY ABOUT IT. SHE'S WORRIED IF TWO OF HER FRIENDS ARGUE, THE TEAM WILL SPLIT UP AND SHE'LL BE LEFT ALONE. SHE'S SCARED THAT IF SHE DOES SOMETHING WRONG OR SOMETHING GOES WRONG IN HER MISSION, OOYU WILL FIRE HER. SHE'S SENSITIVE TO EVERY LITTLE COMMENT AND WILL PUNISH HERSELF IF SHE DOES SOMETHING EVEN SLIGHTLY WRONG, OFTEN SCARING OTHER PEOPLE. E.G. SHE'LL START PUNCHING HER GUT IF SHE DOES A MOVE WRONGLY. BECAUSE OF HER PAST, SHE'S ALWAYS A LITTLE DEPENDENT ON OTHER PEOPLE SINCE THE LACK OF PARENTAL FIGURES IN HER LIFE. BECAUSE OF THAT, KAMEKI WILL COME OUT A LITTLE ANNOYING AND NEEDY SOMEITMES, BUT NONE OF HER COLEAGUES IN OOYU REALLY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT SINCE THEY ALL UNDERSTAND. THEY'LL CRACK JOKES OR ABOUT IT, BUT NONE OF THEM REALLY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT.

SOMETHING SHE HATES THOUGH, IS HER SHORT-TEMPER. SHE DOESN'T LIKE SCREAMING OR INSULTING PEOPLE, BUT WHEN SHE'S ANGRY, SHE'LL DO EXACTLY THAT WITH NO MERCY. she'll become a bi*ch, becoming very cocky and insulting people on things you shouldn't insult. It's rare to see her in this state, only when she thinks what someone says is not reasonable. this is the time when you know you really pissed her off and you should probably apologise. when she's like this, only select people can control her: the leader, the boss of ooyu and maybe park jimin.

They're very close and often treat each other like siblings, usually introducing themselves as such to new people.
// younger brother-figure | jeon jungkook |18 | spy in kapae | the first time they met, jungkook immediately stuck to kameki and the leader due to the kindly and understanding aura both of them were giving off. during their stay in ooyu, jungkook grew closer to them and became like a younger brother to them.

1. WHY DID YOU WANT TO BE A SPY?

... *tries to look uncomfortable* mostly because of my past. both of my parents abused me, in ways i don't like describing. My mom was a police officer, and yet she did a lot of horrible things to me. I've been living off the streets after i ran away from my house. i found out about you and this other company, ooyu, a while back. it said you both were accepting new trainees but when i called ooyu and told them about why, they said it was too... naive of a reason and that i'll never make it big in this industry. that's why i called you guys. i want to make sure that nothing like my past ever happens. and i want to prove ooyu, *says this with hate reserved for kapae tbh* those bastards, wrong. Because i know, i'll definitely be better than what they make me out to be.  

2. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT KAPAE CO.?

"i knew they would ask this" kameki thinks to herself. *Puts on a stoney face* ooyu disappointed me, and insulted me. I hope you're better than them, because i hate being disappointed. You probably hate the fact that you were my second choice, look at the bright side. I hate ooyu, your rival. this way, you for sure that i'm not a spy for them. You saw how much i hated them just now right? I'll work hard for you, i'll do my absolute best. 

3. WHAT IS YOUR BEST AND WORST SKILL?

*smirks slyly* you'll find that my plans are the absolute best. nothing, and i mean nothing, ever goes wrong. If i don't want someone prying into my personal things, they won't because of how well i hid them. You couldn't even find my past easily, right? My worst skill... i can't torture people. I don't do well with bloodshed. I can't act much either... *gives a grimace*

4. HOW IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE GIRLS? DO YOU HAVE ANYONE YOU PARTICULARLY DISLIKE OR IS NOT CLOSE TO? IF SO, WHY?

*looks deep in thought* I'm fine with everyone, i guess. If i'd have to choose someone, i'd pick the arrogant. her arrogance isn't something i can really take too much of, i'll eventually get angry. I don't like getting angry too much, it's a waste of energy. But i know it's not something she can really control so i try not to get too angry about it.

I'm fine with it. I've heard we're quite opposite but i'll deal with it someway. as long as i get trained, i don't have a problem with it. *puts on a poker face*

HE'S THE MAN OF MY DREAMS

PERSONALITY // cheerful, positive, friendly; too serious about his job, stubborn, judgemental

Jimin is the cheerful, friendly and positive person in bts. He's always happy and rarely ever seen angry or with a long face... outside of missions. he doesn't like seeing anyone cry and is the caring person taht will do anything just to make a sad or angry person happy again. He's the one who has a lot of contacts and is the most well-known one in kapae because of how friendly he is. Everyone knows him, just because of his outgoing personality.

However, he changes completely during missions. He manipulates people with his suddenly y and mysterious personality. He usually acts on the field and is skilled at making people crack with torture. He doesn't really mind bloodshed, and if required, will shed a lot of it. He becomes very serious about work, and often drops or forgets everything when informed a new mission. Jimin is also very stubborn, only choosing to believe what he wants to believe. Even if the evidence against him is overwhelming, he won't believe it because of how stubborn he is. He gets slightly judgemental sometimes. if someone goes against his truth, he will judge the person. a lot. all of the people who know him disapprove of this particular trait. 

HISTORY // 
Jimin and kameki met at the first day of kameki's training. He was late and when he arrived, he was covered in blood. a lot of it. Kameki was staring horrified at him, a feeling of nausea came over her and she had to control her bile. When jimin noticed how uncomfortable she was with the blood, he quickly apologised and changed. When he came back, he said, "If you're going to be working here in kapae, you'll have to learn how to stomach blood. I said sorry today, but no one else is going to do so." 

most of kameki's training was spent working with blood and how to act. They worked a bit on physical and weapon training but she didn't really need any work on that much. Kameki hated how much blood she saw everyday and even when she vomitted all over the floor once, or when she gets angry and shouts bi*chy things to him, jimin was still very understanding and apologised every time they'd be spending time with a lot of blood. Because of how caring he was, despite how many times she blew up at him, kameki asked him one day why. he answered with, "Because i know you don't like blood, and yet i'm making you do this. I'm very sorry still, and the anger is very reasonable." Because of this answer, kameki began to pay more attention to jimin, her interest piqued by his answer. The longer she began paying attention to him, the more things she found that she liked about jimin. 

With jimin, he found himself liking kameki just by observing kameki during lessons. He liked how well she carried herself, how committed she is to making sure she does everything well. Even when they worked with blood and with how much she hates blood, she still works hard on training. He liked how caring she was, even when it was his fault for pushing her too much, she still apologises for vomitting on the floor and even cleaned it up himself. everytime she shouted at him and stormed off, for a perfectly good reason, she always came back to apologise, usually bowing a full 90 degrees to him. 

They spent more time after training, usually one of them treating the other to food or something because they felt bad, but they learnt a lot about the other during these sessions. Kameki, of course, was careful when he asked about his past. she didn't like lying to him, but it was needed. They grew to like each other more during these sessions, when they could let their spy missions and jobs go and just be themselves. Kameki found herself being more happy around jimin and jimin found himself being more caring and less judgemental about other people around kameki, since she was so caring and understanding. 

RELATIONSHIP // 
Training was done for the day. They were working on kameki's acting for today, which made kameki happy and relieved. "thank god." She thought. however, while she was about to step out, jimin called her. He was nervous, that much was obvious. his voice was shaking and unsure, which was odd about him. Kameki, curious, turned around to look at jimin. Jimin was wringing his hands together, his face blushing deep red and he was too nervous to even look at kameki straight in her eyes. "Yes?" She whispered, smiling at him. Jimin finally looked up and stuttering a bit, "W-would you like to be my girlfriend?"

Kameki blushed deeply. A thousand scenes and words entered her mind, about how this wasn't allowed. about how this was bad, they were undervocer, about how disappointed jimin would be when he found out and joojin's words. "it's never good falling in love undercover. Something bad will always go wrong, so a piece of advise? Don't fall in love. not while you're under this line of work." when kameki realised how long she was taking to answer and when she saw jimin's crestfallen face, she instantly answered with her heart's words. "of course." 

Jimin and kameki are very close. they know each other well and worry about each other endlessly. especially kameki about jimin. When seeing two of their friends dating but they don't call it official, jimin would be the one judging them while kameki would be the one worrying about the both of them. they go hand in hand, and they always need each other for dealing with each other. they're the caring, understandingand most optimistic pair you'll find.
