PERSONALITY: 

+ » you only live once. yes, soojin does believe in that saying. for as long as she could stay positive, soojin brightly faces the world ahead of her. ever since she was young, soojin has already been the center of attraction in her family due to her bubbliness and friendliness towards her cousins and any other members of the family. she was even named the 'undying human-sized battery' by one of her uncles. she never let herself feel down for long. 

+ » you reap what you sow. a person must not always rely on luck, that's what soojin has always believed in. sometimes or should I say, most of the time, it's always the hardworker who succeeds in life  and so for her, doing your best to every thing you do is still the best way to reach for your dreams. with this, she learned to have a sense of professionalism. she tries her best to whatever she was asked to do.

+ » try me. soojin is a type of person who eats challenges for breakfast. it might sound exaggerrated but it's the truth, soojin likes to be challenged with new things. she knows how to do a lot of sporty activities despite being bad at them. she's always ready to learn new stuffs, especially sports and other extreme activities. 

- » did I miss something? despite being ready to new things, soojin can be pretty dense most of the time. she's always behind the trend whenever there are commotions such as fights, make ups or even when somebody shows hatred or affections towards her. she won't know it until you vocally tell her, face to face.

- » sober but seems drunk. it's true what they say about having too much is not good for you, like soojin who can get really annoying due to her over-naughtiness and being a rock-headed child. her friends' theory of her being this too cheerful, talkative and naughty is because she was not able to show it before when she still lives with her grandmother and is only exhausting everything now that she's away from her. but soojin is a firm child, once she said something, she'd definitely do it whether good or bad. 

- » did someone say twitter? being an active blogger even before debut, soojin already has converted internet and gadgets into her necessities. and so, being around with these things distracts her very much. for as long as she can see her phone, ipad or camera around, she would delay practice or whatever she's doing for it. so it is best to keep her away from these things for her to be focused. 

BACKGROUND: 

» han soojin is the only child of mr han soohyun (a theater director) and ms lee jinhee (a theater actress). with this, you can tell that she really came from a family of performers. ever since she was young, soojin grew up being on [and off] stage. her parents always bring her along to their work to let her see the beauty of performing. she dreamt of being a theater actress originally, but seeing these idols on music shows, she changed her track into being a dancer-singer instead.

» it was in 1999 when their family moved to japan for business purposes. she was 4 back then. they lived there for almost 8 years to finish her primary studies and she was 12 when they moved back to south korea. apparently, she entered an international middle school and re-adjusted to seoul life as a korean student. when she graduated junior high, soojin entered hyangnam high school. but despite school, soojin still accompanies her parents wherever they perform. she was always there to watch her mother's theatrical stages directed by her father himself. 

» her parents were very supportive of her especially when she successfully got in to starship by her own. they were only there to support her when she auditioned for it in 2009. but they did not tell anyone about her connection. they believed in her talent and ability so they were really proud now that she's debuting.

» she's sweet-holic. cookies and chocolates are her comfort food. she always eats it whether she's sad, happy or even when just hungry.
» she enjoys watching dramas and movies, either local korean or foreign.

» she likes listening to rnb music, most probably beyonce, rihanna or jordin sparks.

» they were old classmates and used to be friends too. just like ordinary students, soojin and jeonghan acts really close with each other. they are comfortable whenever they talk and they tease one another endlessly. also, since they were born in the same year, they call each other by their name comfortably. apparently, jeonghan joined pledis while soojin auditioned for starship and soojin, having a crush on him ever since high school, supported the young man through watching him in seventeen tv. even now that they both debuted, soojin and jeonghan still acts the same way. although sometimes, people could notice their real closeness. some even thought that they're in a relationship. moreover, some of seventeen [and a-game] fans ship them together.
