HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME. 

So this is the special announcement I told you all about through my blog post last week.  In celebration of my birthday as well as having over five thousand unique subscribers, I’m holding a writing contest with my good friend headinthebooks101! (aka Sarah)

Now, this is something I’ve thought of doing for the past year but I feel that this is the right timing to finally get it up and out there.  I’ve always wanted to hold a contest because it involves two things I highly value: reading and writing.  I want to be able to have fun and share the love of writing and reading with you guys and I want to personally reward the best entries that come up.

Also, because it’s my birthday today I’m updating most ongoing stories as a gift to you guys (100 Ways to Confess and Of Gods and Monsters will be updated tomorrow).

Edit: I know this seems a little weird but two years ago today one of my favorite actors, Paul Walker, passed away.  Despite the sadness I'm feeling, I'm so grateful he ever lived at one point.  So yeah, thanks Paul Walker for living and being in one of the best movie franchises of all time.  He made me happy and he still does because I'm constantly watching all the work he left behind.
