Health Update: Plateau Is Over!!
I weighed myself this morning and I loss 3 pounds since the last time I was weighed which was at the doctors office about a week and a half ago. (I made a rant post about it and everything XP) I am losing weight again!! T_T For a second I wasn't losing any at all and now the plateau is over ^^
In a little over a month's time I've lost a total of about 7 to 10-ish pounds (4kg). It's hard to know for sure because I used a dial scale the first time I weighed myself and then I bought a digital one and it said I was less O.o At this rate I'll meet my goal of 50 pounds (22kg) in less than 6 months. If I lose 5 more pounds (2kg) I will no longer be considered obese on the BMI :)
I'm so proud of myself for changing my life around. The weight is dropping slowly, but because of all the water I've been drinking my face has less acne. I also feel less bloated now that I'm eating less fried and fast foods.
Honestly, I think I can do way better than I am doing. I need more exercise. I get at least 15 mintues a day with walking to school and to my classes. (My school is kinda big.) I come home and do a workout video for about another 15-30 minutes 3 times a week. I did laps at the track on the weekends. I could definitely be more active.
More importantly I need to alter my diet. I'm thinking about switching to soy milk because regular milk might be making me bloated. (P.S. I'm slightly lactose intolerant but I drink it anyway XP) I'm researching ideas for snacks after school. Eating a whole meal after school and another one for dinner will put me above my calorie limit.
I think I'm going to make a separate post on what I've been eating just to make things simplier~~
Before I go I need some help from all you health gurus out there. How can I get more fiber and protein in my diet??
