Health Update: Plateau Is Over!!

I weighed myself this morning and I loss 3 pounds since the last time I was weighed which was at the doctors office about a week and a half ago. (I made a rant post about it and everything XP) I am losing weight again!! T_T For a second I wasn't losing any at all and now the plateau is over ^^

In a little over a month's time I've lost a total of about 7 to 10-ish pounds (4kg). It's hard to know for sure because I used a dial scale the first time I weighed myself and then I bought a digital one and it said I was less O.o At this rate I'll meet my goal of 50 pounds (22kg) in less than 6 months. If I lose 5 more pounds (2kg) I will no longer be considered obese on the BMI :)

I'm so proud of myself for changing my life around. The weight is dropping slowly, but because of all the water I've been drinking my face has less acne. I also feel less bloated now that I'm eating less fried and fast foods.

Honestly, I think I can do way better than I am doing. I need more exercise. I get at least 15 mintues a day with walking to school and to my classes. (My school is kinda big.) I come home and do a workout video for about another 15-30 minutes 3 times a week.  I did laps at the track on the weekends. I could definitely be more active.

More importantly I need to alter my diet. I'm thinking about switching to soy milk because regular milk might be making me bloated. (P.S. I'm slightly lactose intolerant but I drink it anyway XP) I'm researching ideas for snacks after school. Eating a whole meal after school and another one for dinner will put me above my calorie limit. 

I think I'm going to make a separate post on what I've been eating just to make things simplier~~

Before I go I need some help from all you health gurus out there. How can I get more fiber and protein in my diet??

and then there's me literally drowning myself in coffee and junk food because I'm stressed out about the SAT and the ACT and the PSAT and school in general ._. I need to start eating healthy again O.o
water definitely helps with acne XD yet another one of the perks of drinking more water XD
I'm not entirely sure about milk and stuff because I don't drink milk anymore... I'm not sure if this is true but my mom once told me that milk makes you bloat so I just don't drink it anymore and I put a little in my coffee but that's pretty much it... I don't know much about milk, but there's always more ways to get calcium (ex: taking vitamins (even though it's better to eat actual food), salmon, vegetables, nuts, beans, etc)
as for fiber and protein, oatmeal and nuts and anything that has whole wheat definitely helps you get more protein XD just make sure you don't take in all that fiber at night because I heard that taking in a lot of heavy fiber at night isn't as healthy as taking it in earlier on in the day... proteins don't necessarily have to be in meats because pretty much every food out there has protein (just in different amounts), but I would recommend eggs, beans, tofu, and lean meats and fish

I'm so proud of you!

I know that nuts are a good source of protein, but I'm not sure about fiber.
