PERSONALITY :　

▸ Evanna is the kind of person that usually behaves one way or another depending on how close or how well she knows someone. Out of politeness she's friendly and would talk to someone to just break the ice even though to her it may seem out of place and awkward. This leads to her being easy-going as she would rather be relax and calm instead of uncomfortable and hostile in the environment. Luckily, Evanna is able to adapt in her surrounding without feeling like an oddball, although she doesn't mind being a wallflower at times as well. Evanna also has a great deal of having empathy for someone or something and tries to perceive many things from different perspectives and to not be closed-minded as often as possible. Evanna can be a playful person if she has created a bond with them where their relationship can be at that level. Sometimes it takes a while only because she doesn't trust so easily and usually treads the water before diving in completely. Sometimes it just depends on the situation and how she wants to assess it.

▸ It's also how Evanna is realistic. Sure she's imaginative and open-minded, but Evanna reminds herself that there are times when she has to think of real life and those around her. It's why she's reserve with people and likes to see and know how they are before becoming closer. Evanna dislikes it when people judge others as many people have misjudged her lots of time, but then again she knows it's only human nature to do so. So Evanna has to remind herself to not be so biased and try to be fair and see the grey within the black and white. Life is never that easy. She knows that for sure although the struggles are never that easy to deal with, but that what makes life refreshing and the rewards favorable. Anyways, Evanna prefers to compromise instead of choosing or doing one thing over the other, unless it's sports or something easy since most things in life can be judge fairly without complicating the matters further.

▸ Even if Evanna can remind herself all of the positivity, she knows that the negativity has to come and go as well. Evanna can be impulsive and say and do things that may make her regret it afterwards and may also seem insensitive and like a jerk, too. This can make her become stubborn if she's a firm believer of something or doesn't want change as she has been comfortable with how things have been. It could also mean the changes of doing one thing one way and now having to do it another way. Sometimes it would make her clumsy, not because she has two left feet or is accidental prone, but because she's unfamiliar and unskilled with it all. Which leads to her being absentminded at times as she either forgets and gets lost in the focus or is mentally tired and wants something to distract herself from it all. Somehow stuff life this can make Evanna passive-aggressive without her realizing it. Even if she's frustrated or angry, she'll keep her composure in a calm-like way, but her voice and words will betray her as they'll come out differently then she has initially wanted it to and may sound different to the receiver.

▸ All in all, Evanna usually says that she's the best example of the saying, 'don't judge a book by its cover'. Evanna knows that people will already think of her one way or another not because they know her, but because they know of her or of how she portrays herself. Evanna won't go out of her way to change someone's mind of what they think of her, but she will give them the opportunity to get to know her better if they wish, and to find out what kind of bond to form with her as well. So like before, Evanna will act and behave one way or another depending on the level of trust, one on one connection, different forms of bonding, and the personal closeness she feels with someone on those many levels. For Evanna, once you step into her life and want to be a part of it, she's forever got your back and will be there for you to her best ability. She doesn't forget those who have done her good or wrong, and pays it back ten fold except the evil part. those who done her wrong, she lets karma get back at them. But some times, Evanna can't help but to withdraw from everyone and just observe, which somehow does the opposite most of the time as people do tend to notice her if they know she's in the room. Other times, they freak out as she enters like a ninja without really meaning to from behind them.

BACKGROUND :　

▸ Evanna would have to say that her brothers, Andrew and Daniel, were pretty much the main people in her life to mold her into who she is today. Evanna is half-English from her father who was born and raised in Argentina, and half-Korean from her mother who was a South Korean immigrant. Evanna is also the only one out of her siblings to actually be born in the United States. Her older brothers were both born in Buenos Aires, Argentina where her mother was sponsored by her father's family to come live with them. Later for some odd reason on her father's idea, he had smuggled his new wife and two sons out of Mexico, and then the family of four settled themselves in Koreatown in Los Angeles, California somehow when Andrew was one year old and Daniel was just two months old. Evanna actually doesn't know the details of that whole ordeal. Her parents never talked about it, and her brothers don't know the whole story either. To this day, her mom still doesn't speak about it, and talks about something else whenever she or her bros bring it up

▸ Anyways, when Evanna was born five years later, her parents decided to give her just an English name to make things easier for her and to not deal with the complication of a Korean name unlike her brothers since the mother didn't want to get into trouble per se on the words of her husband with the American authority and such. When she was seven, her father walked out on them and out of their lives leaving her mother to raise three children on her own one day without any explanation. Since that day, July 15, 1999, Evanna will always remember this date and hates it every time it comes up. Anywho, It took a major toll on her mother because her mom had to provide for four all on her own. Her mother was still assimilating into another country despite living there for more than ten years, and learning their ways. English was still really not her mother's strong point although she could speak it she still got confused from time to time, and Evanna never really understood or knew her mother's struggles until she went and lived in South Korea. It was one of the reasons on why she was closer with her brothers compare to her mom because her mom was always busy and tired. Her mother did her best, but in the end, it just didn't give the two to form that mother-daughter relationship that most usually have. Also, another reason to Evanna's behavior and trust issues because of her father's abandonment and her mother never really asking for help.

▸ Evanna has always been a fan of music and whatever got her into the mood, but she grew up with the likes of Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, and more. How Evanna actually got into the whole KPOP scene was actually because of her brothers who listened to all types of music including Korean music since young and whenever they were in Koreatown and the other Korean people engage them into the Korean culture. Also, Andrew and Daniel were better with Korean compare to their little sister, too. Anyways, in 2009 on November 15th, Evanna's brothers had signed their little sister up for the Global Audition US & Canada to SMent, because they missed out on the JYPent auditions by one day and the one from last year as well. Anyways, the boys knew their sister had the talent, but it was more in their favor because they were fans of SNSD, f(x), and the Wonder Girls and wanted their sister to get into the company and the Kmusic industry so they could meet the female idols and then some. Anyhow, Evanna freaked out because she was totally unprepared and was just shock that her brothers would trick her into doing something like this. Somehow, her brothers convinced her to go through with it and told her what she had to do and for what position. Her brothers forgot to mention that she could have danced for the audition, but it was too late as she had already turned in her application and was set to sing instead. She sang Mariah Carey's Fantasy for the first time in a group of ten other auditionees and then later she was asked to sing another song by the judge and Evanna did the first song that popped into her head which was Jang Riin's Y for some odd reason. It may have been because her brothers were listening to that song on the way to the audition venue.

▸ After that day, the SMent's scouts told her they would be in touch. But after a few weeks there was nothing and Evanna forgot about it, but not her brothers as they told her it was SM's lost and what not. Then again, this didn't stop her brothers from sending in more clips to the company itself and making sure it looked for for their baby sister to actually get more noticed and what not. Andrew and Daniel actually sent clips of Evanna dancing (to BoA's Eat You Up) and rapping (and some singing to Untouchable's Oh) than of her singing and hoped that may have worked out better. It did. Soon enough, Evanna found herself going off to South Korea thanks to the persuasion of her brothers who convinced their mother to let her go and that this may help Evanna learn of her Korean roots better and maybe the struggles of what her mother went through in a foreign countery as well. It was true as Evanna learned her mother's struggles through her own eyes as she experienced a cultural shock, the semi-language barrier, being far away from home and family, and the different mindsets of others when she found herself in Seoul, South Korea. One thing she didn't tell her family until some time later was that she didn't passed the finals and couldn't tell them the truth about it and so she lied while working odd jobs to make money to live. It wasn't until a month or two later when an SM scout came up to her to audition when she was working at a cafe and found it so ironic that an SM scout told her to audition when she had failed twice. Evanna thought of not doing it, but she told herself what else did she have to lose and the third time's a charm, right? In her case, it worked out finally and now she didn't feel so guilty about lying to her family about being an SM trainee in the end of it all. She had danced to a random beat the first time, but then danced to BEAST's Bad Girl the second time they asked her to dance again.

▸ her musical influences varies due to her brothers and labelmates [as she considers herself a Pop and R&B chick with a bit of Old Skool Rap for American music: Britney Spears, Christinia Aguilera, Backstreet Boys, N'SYNC, Boyz ll Men, Dru Hill, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Bone Thugz-N-Harmony, 2Pac, etc and then basically enjoys practically all of the other types of music in other languages without a certain preference]
▸ low-key fangirl [even though she loves music and sings along, she will fangirl silently and always enjoys seeing and hearing people do what they love to do, as she doesn't openly express her hardcore fangirling just only by herself. even in public she'll bop her head to the music and cheer when needed and in control of her feels until she'll have that one moment where someone or others may take notice of and is just surprised that she's like that]
▸ multi-fandom fangirl [is pretty much a fan of anyone and everyone as long as they have her interest. but pretty much tends to enjoy boy groups and male artists since living and training in South Korea to the dismay of her brothers who still ask her if she has become friends with any female artists and such]

▸ music is life [listens to it at night, doing a chore, asleep, driving, reading, whenever she can. she enjoys a variety of music and from around the world]
▸ only completed the 9th year of school as during her 10th year she moved to South Korea without completing it [feels sad that she couldn't complete the rest of the grades or graduate high school and envies those that did and can continue on with their studies and balance out both]
▸ prefers choreographed dance routines than freestyling [she just enjoys having a set of moves for a song and you can tweak it a bit here and there, but she figures she likes the structure of moving in memorization]

TRAINEE YEARS :　about six years since early March 2010

TRAINEE LIFE :　

▸ Evanna's trainee life was, well, a full-blown roller coaster ride filled with the good, the bad, and all the other little things in-between. Sure she looked mostly Asian and was of Korean descent, but her lack of proficiency in the language made her a target for teasing along with her "foreign" name and the way she was. Evanna dealt with the attitudes of the people she traineed with, worked under, and the other trainees that were foreign as well as those like her who she found a more basic understanding and connection with. Evanna wasn't used to such a schedule of waking up, practice, practice some more, eat, little sleep, and practice once again, and then doing it over and over. Sure it was a daily routine, but for her at first it was a rigorous schedule that she wasn''t sure she wanted to continue with. Sure she cried a lot, whined a lot, got frustrated, wanted to quit it all, but she would never allowed them to see that. Evanna didn't want to give them the satisfaction that she was being weak, being a 'crybaby', a person who didn't deserve to be there like them, and the likes.

▸ Evanna also thought of Andrew and Daniel, and wondered how they would feel and think of her for not continuing this. Then another reazliation hit her was that this was probably how her mother felt. When that dawned on her, Evanna did some serious thinking and found new respect for her mother. Evanna now knew that this was what her mom felt probably every single day, although not the same, but the experience of it. So she it in, and told herself that if her mom can live in the states and go about her day for twenty plus years, then she could muster the will power to do the same thing in her mother's homeland. Evanna continued to put up with everything, although she cried and wanted to go home and missed her family terribly, she knew that in the end, it would all be worth it. Also, Evanna wanted to tell her mom that she was sorry and that she finally understood her and that all of her hardowork, was for her and her brothers.

▸ Anyways, Evanna continued to practice to better her Korean by listening to a lot of Korean music and K-movies. She despised the K-dramas so she never watched it. This is where she found a love for the K-Hip Hop sound as it reminded her a lot of the American hip-hop and just loved how the words flow in Korean. It piqued her interest more and she wanted to pursue herself in that direction. Vocally she doesn't mind singing, but she felt her voice was a bit to low to hit such high notes and what not, and one of the main reasons to go mainly for rap. Anyhow, she danced to express herself although she felt like she wasn't the best at dancing, but the movements helped to free a bit of herself and to really let herself go with the beat of the sound and felt she could also express herself easier. Overall, practicing wasn't that bad, sure it was tough, but what could you do? Just continue practicing more is all. Practice doesn't make perfect, and for Evanna it was more like practice makes improvement and continous learning and she found that love in aiming to be the best performer she could be.

how was trainee life to you : 

▸ Um, honestly, it was super tough and difficult and I really just wanted to just go back home and returned back to my normal life. Eventually, after getting over that initial thought, I realized I couldn't just give up and needed to perserve on. It wasn't just me being a trainee and staying as a trainee. I knew eventually it will all pay off, I just needed to see all of this through to the very end.

what do you think about debuting with such open concept : 

▸ Well, it's a bit risky and unpredictable as you won't know how it will turn out in the long run, but having such an open concept doesn't hurt either as it's something new to bring to KPOP.

is there any sm sunbae you want to be in the future : 

▸ Actually all of them as they have paved a way for us future artists to strive for what we love and want to do. But in particular, I would like for us to be like BoA sunbae as an artist that is recognized Asianwide and Worldwide and to be able to touch many across the world with her music, talent, and just herself in general. That would surely be a feat to accomplish.

LAST WORDS :　hello there! and omg, not sure how much fun you would be in when you read through everything concerning Evanna. lol oh, just for your information if you have any that concerns about some of the stuff, i was inspired by Dumbfoundead's life and based Evanna's parents and brothers like so just for that little bit. i also used this for the SMent's 2009 global audition and how i learned of the JYP one and this one for an overall SMent audition one. and inspired here for Evanna's brothers convincing her to go for the audition almost like how 2PM's Taecyeon's audition thing by his sister. LOL and um here for more Eevee information. but um, hmm, the love interest section, if it's complicated can scratch it out. just thought it would be fun to add to the drama and such. lol but um not sure about what else, but i'm sure you will inform me about that once the review is up! so please don't hesitate to be harsh and point out things if needs be. it helps. i love constructive criticism. :D anyways, um, wasn't sure for pre-debut but kinda threw it in even though she isn't really part of the whole SMRookies thing and not really hidden in a sense either... so not sure sure but yeah, let me know about anything to do with this and i can scrap it! good luck on writing the story and choosing the characters that will make your story grow throughout this whole concept! have fun! =]
