Of course, all of that was very sadly short-lived as Haneul's group disbanded two years after debut due to one of the members having a blackmail scandal. Haneul is capable of doing things on her own and finds it difficult to rely on others unless she fully trusts that person. She adjusts to her surroundings and becomes a team player if needed, but her tolerance level has its limits when pushed. Haneul's quite athletic, but not competitive at all and will cheer for both sides of the team. At times, she can be too quiet and reserve making her seem cool and distant. However, she can be a bit playful in her own weird way if she feels the mood is right and if she's comfortable. Still, Haneul has a tendency to be indirect with people, especially when she wants to avoid any confrontation, but doesn't mind misplacing people's items in the process. Haneul grew up in a nice home, but her parents weren't around much due to their busy schedule of work and so she hung out with her brothers more often than she ever did with her parents. The only time she ever did see them while growing up were during holidays, weekends, the teacher-parent meetings, school events, breakfast, and dinner. There wasn't anything malicious or neglectful on their part, it was just, how it was. Haneul's parents provided her and her brothers with a home, food, clothes, and other things that children needed to live their life while under their parents' guidance and what not.
Anyways, because of the lack of parental guidance Haneul saw her big brothers as more of a parental figure despite their age difference of six and eight years. At first her brothers thought she was a brat and it was kind of annoying having her around and such, but eventually they grew accustomed with her being around them. Trainee Experience: It was a tough training period for Haneul. She wasn't used to this kind of schedule of waking up, practicing, slightly eating, practicing some more, breaks, more practicing until late, sleep, and again repeating it day after day. For Haneul, this was nothing like sports practice and had a whole different vibe to it. Honestly, idol training was seriously a roller coaster ride and Haneul kind of wanted to quit because she found it overwhelming, but she knew that she couldn't quit so easily. So getting herself together and seeing it as sort of a challenge she didn't want to quit when her brothers were there supporting her, too. So she toughed it out and knew that eventually she would reach her dream to be on stage and with the others she trained with as she wanted to see them on stage as well.

Haneul is no longer in contact with her former group mates nor has she ever interacted with the members of GFRIEND as she was busy with her own life and schedule at the time GFRIEND were forming.
During her time in and before the formation of GLAM due to the co-managing of GLAM by Source Music and BigHit, Haneul had become close to the members of BTS before their debut and even thereafter.
How she first met BTS was at BigHit's dance practice room. Haneul was feeling down about her evaluation one day as she was scolded once again about her dancing abilities. So to cheer herself up Haneul was doing vocal runs while doing soccer ball tricks at the same time as she thought about on how to actually build up her dancing skills. Too lost in her thoughts she didn't notice the boys entering the room and when one of them commented loudly on her ball skills and singing she had accidentally kicked the ball too hard and it hit one of the members which eventually hit another member after ricocheting off the first member it hit. Practice that day ran differently and instead of actually practicing, the group passed time with learning soccer tricks.
