An AFF related question

There's a story I've been working on for over 2 years now. I am planning to write the final chapter soon, but before I do that I want to read it over a little just as a refresher so I can tie up all the loose ends. As I began reading the 1st chap I found ALOT of mistakes I really want to fix.

If I read the entire story and fix the mistakes as I go along will it show up as a new update every time I save it?? I don't want to confuse my subscribers and make them think I posted a new chap and I didn't.

no it doesn't mark edits as updates. I do edits in my fiction constantly, on every chapter, as I go back and re-read it and it doesn't show up as an update. So unless you make a huge change or tell your readers you've edited it they probably won't even know. I actually changed a characters name two chapters past when he was first introduced. None of my 500 subs caught the change, they just think he was always named that since he was only mentioned a few times previously. But yeah you can edit a page 50 times in a minute and it won't notify anyone so have at it!
