positive traits:

- bubbly & cheerful. as positive as she can be, soojin brightly faces the world ahead of her. ever since she was a child, soojin has always been the center of attraction of her family due to her bubbliness and over-activeness. she loves to joke around and she never gets tired of playing around. because of this, she is also known as the never-draining life-size battery. 

- industrious & hardworking. as the word explains itself, soojin is always there to finish what she started. she's very diligent especially when it comes to studying; whether to her academics, to household chores, or just some new dance steps being taught to them by their dance instructor. she never fails to learn them accurately. 

- competitive, versatile & adventurous. soojin is a type of person who likes to be challenged in trying new things. she knows how to do a lot of things despite being bad at them. she is always open into learning new stuffs especially when it comes to physical activities such as sports. she's not afraid to do them even if she knows she'll be humiliated.

negative traits:

- unobservant, naive & careless. despite being ready for new things, soojin can be pretty dense most of the time, usually when a person is showing her their affections and such. she's pretty much always behind the trend whenever there are fights or make ups. she's not that updated when it comes to the happenings around her. she won't even know it unless you say it to her face to face. 

- over-naughtiness & rock-headed. as they say, too much is not good for you, just like soojin who at some times gets really annoying because of her over naughtiness. her friends' theory about this was because she was not able to show it comfortably before when she was still living with her grandma and so she's exhausting everything to everyone now that she's away from her. 

- easily gets distracted. as the phrase itself, soojin gets easily distracted whenever she's doing something. for example, she needs to memorize a dance step or practice them, once she sees a gadget around or for as long as she sees them, soojin would delay practice just to play. this actually calls that she must not have any gadgets around her whenever she's studying or practicing. 

soojin roy-lee or best known as soojin lee is the youngest daughter of a korean sergeant, lee seokmin and a canadian university professor, katie roy. they are a family of four consisting of her, her parents and her brother lee seokjin, who is 2 years older than her. her parents met in busan, south korea where her mother was asked to be a substitute teacher in a high school campus there, while her dad [who is a seoul native] was destined in that place to serve for the people. eventually, they found love with each other and got married after 2 long years of a long-distance relationship. her mom's three months a year visitation to korea was really a big help for their relationship.

after some time, the two got married and her mom decided to stay in south korea to live there. they had a son a year after their marriage, and after 2 years, had soojin. 

in 1999, her mother decided to bring them siblings to canada where her mother's family lives. at first, her dad was against it for he couldn't resist being away from his children. after all, he just couldn't leave his duty from his country. it took them approximately a month before they both could agree to it. soojin was 2 years old when they first moved to canada, and just like how they promised, they kept in touch with their father. at some point, soojin had forgotten how her father's embrace feels like personally. 

since her mother was busy with her job as a university professor, soojin and her brother were both taken under the care of their grandmother in alberta, canada. it was tough for the siblings at first, knowing that their grandmother is very strict when it comes to them. they learned how to be polite all the time, they learned strict table manners and that they should just listen to the elders as they speak during meal; the reason why soojin always stays quiet while eating with others. they could only be the bubbly them whenever there are family reunions, or outside the house. 

it was back in 2006 when they returned to korea. soojin was very happy seeing her father after a long time, although she had a hard time adjusting to her father's home town. since she grew up in a foreign country, soojin only knew how to speak in english, and so, she had struggled communicating with others. fortunately, her family was there to support her. her mom, who learned how to be fluent in both korean and english taught her that led her to be bilingual.

now, they are living as a whole family in a house at some place in seoul. with her father drawing near to retirement, soojin just can't wait to spend more time with him and cope up with the years they were not able to spend before. 

simply, jeon jungkook is known for being a talented kid, that despite his young age he could already do many things. and a part of this talent is having a good personality such as being approachable. people who knew him long say that he was born with it.

although some might think that he's not easy to talk to due to his calmness, soojin knew they were wrong about it. jungkook isn't the type of a person who would only talk to you unless you make the move first. in fact, jungkook is very friendly towards his classmates and that according to him [and to soojin], he is very funny and very easy to talk to. he's naturally nice. 

he could be very naughty and a hard teaser towards his classmates, friends and fellow bangtan boys at some times but most of the time, he is just a simple boy who wanted to gain a lot of friends.  

he is very passionate about his work and he loves music just as much as soojin loves it. 

despite being classmates since freshmen year, soojin and jungkook never had long interactions besides being in school together. although soojin once admitted that she gained a crush on him because of his passion for performing. many had even assumed that jungkook likes her too due to his constant mentioning of soojin's name whenever he was being asked whom [from the opposite ] he wanted to perform with in some of their school events. but the bangtan maknae never confirmed about it. 

jungkook had a lot of friends in school and fortunately, soojin is one of them. they're not that very close but they're comfortable enough with each other's company like how real classmates do. soojin, just like jungkook's other friends, helps him with school stuffs whenever he misses an activity due to his busy schedule as a bangtan member. nevertheless, soojin and jungkook go out on friendly dates with their classmates whener they have free time, which is very rare.

hence, soojin and jungkook stays the same on camera. they comfortably say hi and hello to each other despite having cameras around. they are not shy to show off their friendship too through uploading pictures of them together with their other classmates.
