I usually don't write poetry. I haven't written it in a while so I'm kinda rusty. But I wrote this because basic words couldn't convey how I felt.

A melody has one voice

A beat has one language

A voice has one message

Music is universal

 

A song can be felt a million miles away

A note can be heard in the stars

Piano keys can be see in the sky

Inspiration can be tasted in the air

Music is universal

 

A smile can bring joy to the world

A tear can bring sadness to the heart

Anger can trigger a war

Music is unversal

 

Music is a common median

It connects far away lands

It merges far away seas

 

Music is a being of life

It rings with a pulse

It shines with emotion

A lot of stupid, closed-minded s were talking about my personal music perference. They claim they don't get how someone can listen to something they don't understand. I don't want to put nationality in this but I feel like this is the typical American attitude. When people say this I use two comparisons. 1. People all around the world listen to Beyonce and Michael Jackson whether they understand it or not. 2. When you listen to some rap and heavy metal songs you can barely understand what they are saying sometimes and they are supposed to be speaking English O.o

I believe you don't have to sing along in order to like it. Good music can tell a story with the song as the voice. Not the words. If a singer can't convey the proper emotion for the song then maybe they need to improve on their technique. 

When I listen to SHINee I can feel the passion, the emotion, the dedication, the excitement. I don't have to know Korean. And if I'm curious about the lyircs Google is a click away.

Do you get judged for listening to Kpop?? I love it and no matter what they say I will keep listening to it :D
