△ words hurt more than actions △ yooyi has a very expanded vocabulary and with that, the ability to be fluent and persuasive in her words and writing. she is able to clearly express or indicate her feelings in a sentence without sounding like a whiny baby or a nuisance. when she talks, the key to figure out what emotion she's conveying is her tone of voice. when she talks, you can hear a difference in tone of voice from when she's upset and when she's happy. there's just something in her voice that is charming and one-of-a-kind. she thinks before she talks as she's always finding the right moment to say something, surely she wouldn't want to embarrass herself or make a fool of herself if she just barges in on someone's conversation. yooyi's philosophy on talking is "to say every single word with meaning". she would always carefully choose her words so that they don't offend anyone and that those words would have a serious and important impact on people.

△ true leaders don't create followers; they create more leaders △ as a born leader, yooyi is used to the action of leading an organization or a group. though that means she would have to blamed for any mistakes made by the individuals around her, she enjoys being responsible nevertheless. but as a leader, yooyi is capable of being trusted with everything. she finds looking after everyone to be worth the risk of being the primary cause of something. yooyi is found putting out rules and punishments for the individuals around her. she's able to keep a good eye on everyone and can always be trusted with keeping everyone in place. yooyi isn't the rough type of leader, but she knows when or when not she has to go against the individuals around her. yooyi knows when she should be rough and when she should be a mother. most people describe yooyi's leadership traits to be that "she displays prudence and is more practical and functional rather than "decorative".

△ a caring friend is a thousand times better than a careless lover △ did i mention that yooyi is also caring and observant? yooyi is quick to notice things and changes. she is very aware of her surroundings and always takes mental notes of it. she notices the ripples of change in one's action and personality. yooyi's not a slow learner, after all. she's someone who can quickly understand and adapt to any situation and environment. she will instantly find her own pace and will continue on with that pace. she's also fully aware of the environment around her and that is a leading point. she keeps careful watch for any signs of a fight or a outburst.

△ the more you keep quiet, the more you understand △ yooyi is introverted in many way. yooyi's most introverted in her mind, meaning that her mind is filled with sad and negative thoughts, critics, and sad or mellow songs. though she has leadership traits, it's not like it's a rule that every leader has a positive mindset. yooyi strongly believes that this introverted side of her is a side that she can't show others. despite that, she doesn't want it to change it. yooyii's introverted mind causes her to think about everything bad before the good. she sees people's weaknesses and bad traits before their advantages and good traits. she herself doesn't really know if she could be a good leader with her introverted mind.

△ i'm just naturally unfriendly at first △ yooyi might not seem like it but she is reserved, as in she doesn't share her feelings, emotions, or thoughts with most people except for her loved ones. thouh most people trust her, yooyi has never been the one to put her trust in people easily. she can only trust people who she knows from a long time ago like her friends but other than that, nobody. she always had this thought that if she tells someone she barely knows her problems, they would look upon her oddly and avoid her. yooyi can only depend on her closest friends for her problems and insecurities. yooyi has always been searching for people who would accept her for her flaws and mistakes, her advantages, and her problems.

△ i will go down with this ship △ yooyi is grounded, in other words "realistic". she has a high sense of realism. from a small age, she's been used to accepting reality or the world the way it is. in her teenage years, when other children write stories of fiction and adventure, she writes stories of romance, angst, and slice of life. yooyi has a tendency to express an awareness of things the way they really are. it might make her look blunt or straighforward, but that's how yooyi is, she states the facts when needed. when making plans of an assignment, yooyi gives the facts of things to keep everyone's minds from being too high in the clouds. yooyi is considered the anchor of a ship of dreams and fantasies, meaning that when the ship's crew (her friends or acquintances) are having their head in the clouds and the ship itself is sailing towards an unwanted direction, she will be the anchor that keeps the ship grounded.

△ she needs humor 101 classes △ her sense of humor, sadly, isn't polished. though she knows how to lead people, she can't seem to be able to crack a joke for the people. it's not like she can't, but she knows that her jokes are quite unfunny and make you want to curl over. it's just that yooyi can't crack a joke or entertain people. it's as if she was born without a funny bone. she has never been able to pull of a snappy remark or a comeback. heck, she can't even do puns. she struggles with jokes and other funny things. she's not the type to entertain others with jokes and snappy comebacks, she wasn't born that way. yooyi tends to be someone who tries not to be the noisy one. she want a peaceful and calm atmosphere that she can work in.

 

BACKGROUND: 
△ born on valentines' day, dear choco yooyi △ born on valentines' day, yooyi was born and raised in jung-gu, daegu, south korea. she was born as the first born of the "yeo" household. as a child, yooyi was quite the timid yet athletic type of child. yooyi enjoyed reading english books and helping her mother cook. when she was 3 years old, her younger brother was born and as the older sibling, she had been asked to name the said brother. with the reason of forging oth her mother and father's name, she named the brother "yoonhyun". she took care of the brother well and as they both matured, her brother became quite the spoiled and naive brother to her. though she didn't seem like it, but yooyi started learning hapkido since she was 12 years old. when she was 15 years of age, she started taking boxing classes to lose weight but stopped after a year since she's afraid she's got a lot on her hands. yooyi became interested in music through her brother showing her a boa song. ever since then, she loves to listen to music and dance randomly to the song. seeing potential, her father signed her up for modern dance classes and also she learned how to rap and write lyrics by listening to yoon yooyi.

△ find your soul in seoul △ she had moved to seoul after she graduated elementary school. her father and mother found beter jobs that required them to move to seoul, specifically in hongdae. for yooyi and her brother, it wasn't really hard to adjust to the capital's living environment. though her relationship with herclassmates were fine, school life in general was quite tough. not that she had failing or average grades, it was just the stacking homework and long and tiring school hours that make her want to just forget those days. maybe it was just because of puberty that made her think this way but still.

△ this is not a dream △ right after she graduated high school, yooyi had moved to a different side of seoul near incheon alongside her two friends; mira and taeyong. when they first moved, they had asked their parents for a certain amount of money that will be enough to cover a couple of months of shopping and clothes. when talking about the money for an apartement, mira's parents had agreed with yooyi's parents to find and pay for the first 3 months of the rent. in 2012, yooyi's younger brother had revealed to yooyi that he has been accepted at a good high school in seoul and will be living with the gang (yooyi, mira and taeyong). the three (or four if you count yoonhyun after 2012) settled down in yonglim apartement. yooyi and mira reside in room no. 305 while the boys lives next door in room no. 306. they all have three keys; the real room key, a spare and the room next door's key.. as of 2012, the gang only need the money to pay the bills and for their daily expenses. yoonhyun's tuition and taeyong's tuition and other school needs will be provided by their respective parents. usually, every month, mira and taeyong's parents will provide enough money for daily expenses (if combined) while yooyi's parents will provide enough money to back them up in case they're out of cash.

△ makin' big money △ to pay the bills, mira and yooyi usually combine their earnings together. yooyi works as a fashion blogger for a famous fashion blog. mira works as a magazine editor. currently, yooyi is attending korea university for her degree in journalism and mass communication while mira is attending korea university for her degree in arts and design. in 2013, it was revealed that yooyi's mother had opened up a coffee shop in hongdae. that said coffee shop is entitled "valentine". it is quite a famous and best-selling coffee shop, it was branches in ilsan, cheongcham-dong, seoul, incheon, and dongdaemun.

△ yeo yooyi's daily schedule △ usually, yooyi would wake up at around 5-6 am and get dressed along with eat the breakfast she or mira made. she would then take the subway or the bus depending on the situation with her brother or mira or taeyong because you never know when something might happen to you. yooyi usually goes to only two places at that early in the morning, one would be her university for a seminar or an appointment with a friend and two would be her work area. the distance from her university to her work area isn't that far, to say the least, so yooyi's joints wouldn't suffer a whole lot of fatigue at such young age.she would usually order lunch, but there are times when she goes outside for lunch. she won't stay at her work area long, she would usually be home at 7 or 8 and she would be ready to go out with mira or anyone really.

△ i love you, dear daddy △ yooyi and her father are as close as they can be. yooyi's favorite father-daughter activity with her father would totaly be eating. the father and daughter love to eat at a korean barbeque restaurant. though she's been busy studying and excercising, a dinner with daddy dearest would always cheer her up. it's a fact that yooyi always goes to shopping malls with her father because her father never nags or limits what she buys when she's with her father as her father is just laidback and chill that way. during her childhood, her father used to smoke but ever since yooyi graduated middle school, he has never touched a cigarette ever again.

△ run devil run △ if you're trying to ask yooyi about her mother, don't even try. yooyi will just ignore the question and try to change the topic. with harsh school hours and stacking homework, wouldn't you expect your parents to be supporting you and taking you out for some fresh air? well, for yooyi, her mother did the exact opposite of that. it made yooyi wonder if her mother had even read the parenting book 101. all that yooyi's mother did was nag about almost everything that it made even her father enraged. yooyi's mother sets the standard too high for the siblings and pushes them to do what she wants them to do. in short, she's not fond of her mother as much as she is to her father.

△ you are my only sunshine △ i guess yoonhyun would make he list of "the things yeo yooyi never regretted having"as thenumber one. frankly speaking, yoonhyun grew up being taken care of by yooyi. he's grateful for all she's done for him, but nertheless he knows no way of expressing his gratitde to her. yooyi looks after yoonhyun and treats him accordingly. yoonhyun would worry about her and ask her how she's been doing. he particularly hate it when other guys get too close to yooyi. in an instant, he would feel some instinct come over him. though there are time when she hated him being overprotective, she sees this as the way he expresses his love for her so she lets him be.

△ jungkook is considered his own critic or his own hater. about his self-critical trait, it can also be connected to his born perfectionist trait. due to his strive to be the closest to perfection (as he knows nothing can be perfect), he becomes his own critic. jungkook has set very high standards for himself ever since his childhood and he would push himself to reach those standards. jungkook is an individual that puts high standards on almost everything. jungkook is ironic that way. he is one that gives people a place of comfort; a place where they can tell all their secrets or problems. yet, he himself doesn't have a place of comfort. it may be because he's reserved. he has this trust issue that causes him to have trouble letting himself go around people. call him insecure or anything, but that is the typical jeon jungkook.

△ jungkook is introverted, alright. he sees this world from a negative perspective. he has always been very introverted, it was as if he was born with it. he always sees the glass half full and half empty instead of the glass being full. he has never been good at expressing happiness, let alone define what happiness means to him. he was never someone who had the ability to think positive. jungkook is someone who always believes that he is a bird whose always being caged by the world's problems.

△ jungkook is loyal, alright. though he is not one to open up to people easily, he will stand by you through thick and thin, and though he might not be the best person, he will always be there for you. though jungkook is reserved, he can give you the place of comfort you need when you're lost inside a storm. jungkook, being loyal and all, will never betray his friends; he knows better than that. he knows whether or not it would be worth it or not. yes, yes, believe it or not but jeon jungkook is gentle. gentle in the way that he doesn't treat anyone poorly. he is a mild person in temperament or behaviour. he controls his emotions well. he likes to show gentleness and corcern or sympathy. unlike most modern male students these days, jungkook doesn't play with the hearts of girls. he treats the girls who confess or date him well. he doesn't date for fun; he's someone who takes relationships seriously, unlike most people these days.

△ jungkook is quick-witted. quick-witted doesn't mean that he's funny or humorous. it means that he has quick reflexes. apparently, he was born with the ability to be able to react fast to things. jungkook will be able to respond quickly to any change of situation. he will be able to adapt quickly. jungkook doesn't really like to brag about his quick-witted trait, but he is proud of being quick-witted. he likes the fact that he is able to think or respond quickly or effectively to a situation. but due to his introverted self, jungkook will have trouble figuring out if what he did or the decision he took was right or wrong.

△ dear beautiful stranger △ the two only met a few years back, during yoonhyun's 16th birthday party. it all started when jungkook sat next to the sleeping yooyi, whom fell asleep sitting on the couch and nobody dared to wake her up because yikes. despite yoonhyun and taeyong telling him not to sit next to yooyi, jungkook did so anyways because as a naive individual, he got caught up in curiosity. jungkook waited a few minutes before waking up yooyi. he shook her shoulders a few times, causing yooyi to wake up. though he was expecting a beating like yoonhyun and taeyong had said, yooyi instead mistook jungkook for yoonhyun (as she just woke up and her vision was like, blur) and leaned on jungkook's shoulders. of course, jungkook felt odd since his friend's siter was there, leaning on his shoulders. however, it would seem rude to shake her off his shoulder so he tried his best to make her comfortable. as if on queue, they had this odd yet endearing conversation.
"oh, yoonhyun, are you done with greeting the guests?" yooyi said with a half-awake, half-asleep tone.
"um, but i'm jungkook. i'm jeon jungkook." jungkook said as he swifted his position a bit.
"i'm yeo yooyi. as a thank you gift for being a shoulder to me, kim jungkook, you can have this if you want." yooyi said as she handed jungkook a piece of paper full of her social medias.
"um, well, okay. will we meet again, yeo yooyi?"
"if fate allows it, jeon jungkook."

 

RELATIONSHIP: 

△ noona, you're so pretty △ they had started off awkward as noona and dongsaeng, of course. they didn't really meet that often but they did converse through instant messaging. through instant messaging, the talked about their lives and such. they often have deep talks about their insecurities and worries then try to help each other out. through instant messaging, the two also decided to call each other by name and drop the honorifics. though it seemed fine to do so through instant messaging, it gets awkward and cringe-worthy when they do it face-to-face. one thing that jungkook does around yooyi is compliment her on her appearance and clothing. to yooyi, his compliments are what makes her feel confident and good about herself.

△your hands in my hands△they started having skinship not too long after they got comfortable with each other. the two hugged and held each other's hand after that one time when yooyi was crying because of stress and burden and jungkook just had to hug her to calm her down. that day, jungkook and yooyi made a promise that whenever one of them was feeling sad, the other has to offer warmth and so on. they also loved to have piggyback rides when they're feeling like it and they just love to touch each other's faces and poke anything to make each other laugh. 

△ actually, honestly, i don't hate it △ their relationship had a boost up when jungkook started to act differently around yooyi. he started to try and become really masculine. yooyi found it odd since he's still a friend to her and yooyi sees him as a younger brother sort of way. yooyi had suspected that jungkook had feelings for her, but she only suspected it. her suspicions were right when she found jungkook suddenly talking like an adult, unlike his usual cheerful and fun high school flower boy demeanour. she found him calling her a lot and that he was talking informally to her (though she wasn't surprised with this one). she did find what he did cute, but it was making things weird. she decided to tell him that she only saw him as a friend, despite him not liking it. shortly afterwards, yooyi and jungkook stopped contacting each other for a bit until yoonhyun brought the two in the same place to talk about it. well, they talked and they settled it they way only they can.

△ wait for me a little more, nona △ they did have feelings for each other, to be frank. but jungkook knows that yooyi will only draw the line with him if he confesses. having a keen eye for things, yooyi approached him first and asked him full on front and center. taken aback, jungkook replied a full on"yes". that was actually the critical moment for them. yooyi told him that he should wait a little more. he should know how she doesn't open her heart easily and that he should protect her more. there was also the fact that he was still a high school student so yooyi made jungkook promise that he'll come to her once he's out of school. enlightened that she wasn't mad, he gave her his signture smile and did what she told him to, to wait for her. he knows it would be a long and painful wait, but he knows that yeo yooyi keeps her words and promises.

△ don't let me down △ when the time comes, yooyi will eventually realize that jungkook, to her, doesn't seem that young anymore. she will realize that he really did wait for her and that he really meant to wait. yooyi will come back to jungkook and tell him that she's ready to open up to him. though yooyi's still scared, she knows that jungkook will be there for her every step of the way.she knows that he'll help her get through it.

um...let's see...i woke up at eight-thirty sharp on the cold hard floor. turns out someone *glares at yoonhyun* decided to throw me off my own bed. i would've woken up earlier if someone *glares at yoonhyun yet again* didn't wake me up like that. tsk tsk, kids these days.

probably yeah. i have two amazing friends and a lovely brother. not to mention...um, well...you know, a flower boy high school student around me *blushes*. i get to work with great people and um, have a great time with them. okay, though i may not make much, i'm happy. life's more about the journey than the destination, right? *shyly smiles*

of course i do. well, only some but that still counts. i worship mulan. i mean she fights for her people and definitely isn't as feminine and cringe-worthy as the other princesses. mulan is also quite realistic, i mean, she came from china and her story takes place in the chinese dynasty. ugh, i just cannot *fans herself*
