The first time this happened to me, it was when An Inescapable Fate had ten chapters up.  The matter was dealt with quickly and nicely.  I was able to have a piece of mind that it wouldn't happen again.  It was my first story and I didn't want to think I wouldn't be able to finish writing it.  

The second time this happened to me, I started to feel a bit more disappointed and upset.  Try Again was more popular on Wattpad and since it happened on Wattpad, I figured I kind of had it coming to me.  JaDine was a popular pairing to write about.  I got the person that was doing it to take it down.

This is the third strike.  I've been plagiarized on Wattpad, yet again.  This time I'm beyond angry.  Out of the five years I have been a fanfiction writer I have never felt so disrespected.  This was literally like a big "screw you" to me not just because I was plagiarized, but because the story that was plagiarized was Bloodstream.  

For those of you that don't know, Bloodstream is 80% based on fact.  It's the story of what happened to one of my best friends in high school.  It's about the fact that she overcame the struggles of having abusive parents and was still able to become a strong and successful person. It doesn't even have to do with the fact that I am in the story myself.  I'm more offended that my friend's life is being posted by someone other than me.  Only I was given the permission to be able to post this story up.  I asked my friend before writing it and she was there after every chapter I wrote, reading all the comments it got and watching people's reactions.

I don't care if some of you thought it was just a cute story that used your favorite ship.  This is somebody's life that the plagiarizer is essentially stealing.  The purpose of me writing Bloodstream was to show that you can find the strength to perservere no matter how tough things get.  

The fact that this is the third time makes me hesitant to write more.  I'm so freaking paranoid that something's going to happen like this again.  I've been more than kind to my readers.  I reply to every freaking comment because I genuinely like having conversations with you guys about my stories.  I sometimes let you guys suggest what you might want to see in upcoming chapters if I don't have anything specific planned.  I let you guys have the most protected PDF of Bloodstream I could manage even though three people have access to it (which I'm immediately taking down the link for).  I'm even letting someone translate Stupid Decisions in the Name of Love to Polish.

Edit: Please don't go confront the plagiarizer.  I'm already dealing with it.

4/13/15: The issue has been resolved.
