1. When did you start writing?

long ago. it's funny that despite all the time and 'practices', i'm still an inadequate writer. Hey, not everyone is born with talents or great improving ability.../coughs/...(the original answer i typed was really long n elaborate...but i decided to cut it all out...ppl don't want/need to know everything anyway...lol)

2. What do you enjoy the most about writing?

Reading my own writing and marveling that i actually wrote that, no matter how good or ty it is, it's something that comes from me, belongs to me and most likely is a portrayal of me as an individual. it's amusing to see how you think/form ideas and thoughts from what/how you write. Many writers can come up with the same/similar boring cliche ideas...but no matter how cliche, no two stories will be the same unless you're really that dull/uncreative/uninventive as heck or you're just plagiarizing/copying what you see/read from others. Writing shows not only your ideas/skills but also your colour, not just as a writer, but as an individual. Which is why i don't think of what/who the audience want...because following what the market want will only take away what's me about me. Ya get me? (it's not like i get paid to be someone else, so why bother?) Writing in an online community like aff though, for me, is also about connecting with people through the portrayal of your individuality. Looking for people who connect with your writing, and share their curiosity, enthusiasm, interest, even discussing the writings...which is basically one reason i hate silent readers. there, the point i'm tryina make. lol. All, done without succumbing to the surrounding, 'market' pressure...bcuz rather than writing what others want to read, letting them shape my writing, i prefer to provide them with another colour they might not have cared or known, isn't the beauty of discovering greater than having your same desires and expectation fulfilled time and again? And that my friend, is why i'm a failed writer-wannabe. lol. talk about idealism much.

3. What is your preferred genre?

I think i change over time. And such change doesn't come with planning. Lately, i feel like i kind of like writing dark stories. Yknow, not those stories with 'insert whatever supernatural evil creature name' but the ironic, dark side of human nature...sometimes it can be vague/in cynical way...i used to like horror, but then feel i'm just not cut to write it...i like crack, but i'm not sure if i'm funny/absurd enough for it...lol(i did try co-writing a crack but felt that my parts were always less funny-in-crack-way than the other writer). And mystery...i love having to think(as reader) or making people think(as writer)...mystery adds excitement, imagination, anticipation, expectations, blabla. And romance that are portrayed through depth and subtlety n feels rather than the conventional ways of portraying ...Actually, i like writing anything where i can feel the character, and make those feelings be felt by readers too, regardless of genre. many times, i can't even put my writing into genres...they feel lacking the characteristics for any genre...i guess i'm just a simple person who just like to write simple things without trying to make them fitting in any pretty moulds called genre.

4. What do you dislike writing?

I won't include things that i won't write. So...i'd say....action? Because God i'm terrible at describing action scene...actually i'm bad at describing any scene...i'm better with just writing emotions than any actions sadly. and actions make a lot of parts in stories. so....-_-....i also dislike writing anything 'fantasy' as in standard restricted 'definition' of fantasy in fictions...and also anything science-y....

5. OTPs?

[please note that the answer here is just about OTP n has no direct relation to pairings in my fics except for some] Let's see,....this is easy to answer...my #1 OTP is KevKwang, cuz KevKwang is true <3(well, albeit one sided on Kevin's side.../coughs/) the epitome of ultrasweet onesided love that it aches you...#2 is MinJun...cuz they're funny as heck while loving and caring of each other at the same time even if to majority, they're just in 'Tom and Jerry' violent hateful relationship, i can see there's more than meets the eye /wiggles eyebrow/ (and come on, the surprise kiss that happened in 2014...ok forget it.../runs/) #3 HeeWan, another story of one-sided love, if kevkwang is about embarrassingly-obvious sweet admirer and Mr.indifferent/oblivious, with this OTP, it's about the y bad boy who's only good and protective of the Hyung he only has eyes for and Mr.oblivious yet flirty-in-obliviousness?. so much onesidedlove and heartaches. #4 would be KiRyu...that could be higher but hey...they've been inactive for years and years...they're never the popular coupling...i don't even think anyone but me ship them, but there's hidden sweetness in this Eldest couple in their group...one is the uber cheesy leader who think he's so handsome and all but sulks like sulky lil girl when rejected, and the other is pretty-as-kim taehee, but a ert who also enjoys teasing n being with everyone especially Lio urgh. Sadly, i never wrote them as OTP...yet. #5. either RicWan (bcuz they're the coupling i like from the first shinhwa fic i read and honestly, they make an interesting couple with Eric's bizzareness and Dongwan's wittiness...but i don't write their fics) or SeungA-Noeul(but then again...i've the urge to ship Seunga with a few other members too, but these two are just silly n chummy buddies who take selca together all the time, probly cuz they were roomates, and their personalities could match with Seunga the blur awkward weirdo who'd make blunt/not so funny jokes and then laugh at her own jokes in embarrassment, and Noeul the loud crazy ahjumma who'd brighten everyone's day)...but i don't write their fics too...i refrain saying out boy-girl OTP cuz you know how annoying fandoms can be...omg...no, oppar~~~~ unnir~~~but...i do write 'em...you can see for yourself...i like variety...just bcuz i pair up this girl n boy in one fic doesn't mean they're my ultimate otp though...just sayin'...

6. What genres do you think you need to improve on?

Idk about improving genre, i'd rather choose what genres i like to write and write...but if i should say improve...then it's how i describe actions, setting, scene, describing, in general. Well, maybe i'd like to improve on horror and dark since i like them, also...romance...i still feel i'm not good enough, and my romantic-ish? scenes always came out...awkward? idk..that's my own observation....since...i'm my most dependable commenter/critic...haha...

7. What is your weakness as a writer?

Poor as heck grammar. structure. organization. Lack of planning. Lack of vocabulary. Lack of elaboration/description/imagery. Not very disciplined. And too dependent on getting response and motivation from readers who don't give a jack on my struggles to battle own doubts and insecurities in coming up with updates. lol. Severe lacking of self motivation. Lazy of doing extensive research for anything too detail/factual although i do research, too dependent on mood that mostly set by music in coming up with writing,...there are more, i'm a lil lazy to think rite now...

8. How would you define your writing style?

One thing i noticed is that over the recent years...i've gotten too deep in writing from first person pov...that now it's awkward for me to write from 3rd person...the horror! i used to write 3rd person all the time...i didn't even notice the transition...also, i like to deliver emotions/feelings, sentence structures bedamned. That's one reason politically correct grammar polices annoy me...some essence just can't be expressed the same way if you focus too damn much on the damn grammar.../coughexcusecough/...I just let my writing flow. i don't like to think/plan on writing style too much. Like in 'More Than Words' i probly ignored writing style and just dive straight in....it's one of the most experimental fics i did besides my poemfic...in there, it was all dialogues and thoughts of the characters, n is delved without any proper organization/flow/intro...but after i finished writing, i realized why the simplistic form suit it, but i won't tell ya. That fic is all about, figuring things out on your own since it's started in the spur of the moment, initiated by my ever annoyance with people and everything.

9. What is the work that you're most proud of at this moment?

It's hard to say....i think "Bukan Sendirian" has a special place for being something that doesn't feel too me. it's a very 'moral-centric'/humanity-themed friendship story that's not even subtle...usually...i don't like that lack of subtlety...but i think i manage to make it...not as annoying as i thought it could be n may i add that i'm proud for using idols nobody know or care about as main characters in the fic? yeah baby...n even moreso, using unknown idols in malay fic, when malay tag is all about the same few names...i think my courage to go against stereeotype/trend here is prideworthy || also, i like n kinda proud of 'My Bandmate's Wedding Singer' because i feel that...more than as a story...it's a portrayal of emotional state and pathetic living state of a has-been singer...it has sad tone all over, but 'sad' wasn't mentioned once...everything's delivered without overdramatic view...but more poignant i'd say...i like the ending too...feels like it captures all the feelings without having to state about feelings too blatantly. there's positivity amidst the sadness. || 'Unlock the Devil Fourever' is a very ambitious...maybe too ambitious...but i'm proud of it, for being my first long fic that goes after themes/characters/setting/everything that's a lil outside my comfort zone, this is my most fictional/made-up fic yet since it goes the area that are beyond logics n even my own beliefs...n probly my first venture into supernatural and also OC in aff, which isn't an easy feat since i disliked OC n this was an effort to challenge myself as a writer to create OCs that can change my premature judgment of OCs in general, and also my first supernatural/fantasy longfic in awhile...a type of genre i don't really like...|| and of course, my monthly fics, for being the fics where i manage to create a fictional world of very reality based fantasy. and characters that feel like characters. MY characters. || and also, 'Good Night Sleep Tight' for being my most polished? (n creative?) set of oneshots compared to my other works where i just write what i feel without much care for literary/plot/artistic/theme values /// well, that shows how much i am proud...lol..../creys/.... but proud doesn't mean they're my favs...or the most well received...definitely not.

10. What do you have in store next?

Working on INNOCENT right now. A set of Rainbow oneshots based on songs in their INNOCENT album, more or less following the format of SPECTACULAR that i did for ZE:A...but, here...each oneshots will be separately referred/dedicated to each member of Rainbow...no names will be mentioned. i like playing guessing games with people...unfortunately people don't like playing it with me...haa...The oneshots will be on the dark side...showcasing dark side of 'innocence', subtly maybe since i hate anything exaggerated or too blatant. Also...looking into possibilities of continuing Gurindam Si Penunggu Angin Lalu(my first malay poemfic that lack any plot whatsoever but i'm just craving to write traditional malay poetries with plot...)...also, my english poemfic, 'Even If A Thousand Years Pass' needs to progress and completed soon if i don't want to withdraw from yet another contest...lol.(i'm really not cut for contests...my amazingly horrible discipline)...i might revive one of my old/abandoned fics when i can choose one...or idk...rest assured, when i'm bored n random new ideas strike again i'll start new one again...as usual...
