You nodded and then hurried down the right path, not wanting Myungsoo to wait any longer. Your heart got over-exicited just at the thought of seeing him, having lunch with him, and possibly smelling that perfect scent of his again. Like a trap luring you in, waiting to snap close. Too bad you didn't hear when it did. 

Meanwhile ...

"Oh ... she's not coming is she?" Myungsoo sighed, getting up from the grass and narrowing his eyes at the suspicious girl in front of him, smiling ever since she re the search for you. 

"Nope, she isn't coming, she told me so herself" she confirmed, not bothered that she had told Myungsoo a lie. He wouldn't mind anyway. He never did mind anything. Until that you came along ... what had happened on that day that his parents had kicked him out of the house? The girl's curiosity was growing. She felt she had the right to know what had happened. Obviously something between him and you, that silly single star student or otherwise he wouldn't even look at you, nevertheless invite you out to lunch out the back in the out of bounds area where normally he and the girl had lunch together alone.

*I understand him better than anyone else! I'm his best friend!* she desperately thought. 

"A-and you shouldn't be so bothered. She's a single star student. Single stars are always incompetent and ignorant" she added in vain.

"But ... she's a whole lot different than those idiotic single stars! Those idiots ... she isn't an idiot you know, Sandra?" Myungsoo murmured, still wondering why you hadn't come yet. 

Sandra held back her scowl and silently tucked in her recorder into her pocket, the mic about to be turned off by the quick jab of her finger.

"And those friends of hers! They may be single stars, but they're all ... smarter than that! They're not idiots! They're not greedy people! They're not insane delinquents!" he continued, a little more passionate then, his thoughts fueling his speech.

And back to you ... who is hopelessly lost and damned ...

*I'm lost* 

You let out a short whimper and glared around you, believing that even the trees that blotted out the sun were smirking at your stupidity. 

*terribly lost ... *

Urk ...

"______-ah?" a familiar voice called to you.

"Ah ... Taemin-ah?" you brightened up immediately seeing one of your best buddies, Lee Taemin. Like you, he was a single star, but fun to be around with ... it was just his grades that needed improving. 

"_______-ah! I knew that was you! What are you doing here?" he asked as he got closer, wadding his way through the thick floor.

"Doing the same thing you're doing! Getting lost!" as soon as he got to you, you practically jumped at him, giving him a hug that would crush normal people like a huge teddy bear suffocating a child. 

He gave one sneaky sniff at your neck and grinned, pulling back.

"PSCH! I'm not lost! I'm just ..." he held up his net and bag. "Fishin for butterflies!"

*Ah ... of course. Taemin-ah would never get lost in a place like this ... and fishing for butterflies??*

You looked back at you. There was no Myungsoo. Obviously he had set you up as a three star student joke, for them all to share. Maybe he filmed your fail as well. Well, who cared anyway? You had your best, bananamushroom friend with you and if that was as good as good things could go, then you'd take it.
