It was warm.

The scent of warm honey blossoming roses filled the air.

But a small cry was heard.

"Please. " It begged.

Kai slowly opened his eyes.

He was tightly and gently wrapped in a warm blue blanket. 

The house was quite and the only sound that could be heard were the birds.

"Sehun?" He grunted.

The boy wasn't home.

Kai yawned and made his way to the kitchen.

There placed In the middle of the floor wax a small brown coffee table.

It was concealed with with a white cloth.

Kai sat down and pulled the cover off.

On the table sat several plates and bowls filled with a delicious breakfast.

Kai giggled and shook his head.

After all the pain he put Sehun through, the ladder still cared for him.

Sehun couldn't keep his focus on his test.

No matter what he tried the painful memory of three years ago.

He tried for years to forgive him, but all effort failed.

He even blamed himself at first.

But after realzing that Kai as the one that disappered he knew that Kai was the one to blame.

Kai knew what he was doing but he didn't care.

He didn't care if he hurt Sehun as long as he was satisfied.

"And put your pencil down."  The teacher shouted as she walked around the classroom.

"Sh*t" 

Sehun cursed when he noticed that he didn't answer but one question.

" Why didn't you answer any of the questions Sehun?" His teacher sighed and picked up the paper.

The walk home was a quiet as usal.

A few local people would wave to him and ask him about his day or ask for an errand.

The only surprise of the day was when he arrived home to smell rice and beef cooking.

"Oh Sehun your home!"

Kai stood in the middle of the kitchen with a cute panda apron.

It was a sight to make Sehun giggle in the inside and blush on the outside.

"I thought I'd make dinner tonight."

Sehun sighed and left to his room, pretending not to even notice.

He layed on his bed and his MP3 Player.

" Baby don't cry."

 He mumbled and tapped on his own chest.

" Dinner is ready."

Kai shouted after a few minutes.

"Tada!" Kai pointed to the food that was placed on the small table.

"I made your favroit." Kai showed and pat the pilow that he had layed down for Sehun.

The younger sat down and quietly started eating.

Kai wished it could go back to the old times where there nothing but smiles shared across the table. When he could see Sehun smiling and laughing while talking about his day at school or jokes. But those days were over and now the house felt like the quiet before the storm.

"So how was your day at school?" Kai asked almost despretly.

All he need was for Sehun to say something, just anything.

It seemed that if he didn't hear Sehun's voice for a second longer taht he was going to break to peices.

"Fine"

Kai nodded and conitued to eat quietly.

"I'm done." Sehun grabbed the empty bowls and plates and started cleaning them.

"I'm going to bed." Sehun left into the dark halls.

"Good night."

Even in the dark Kai could see Sehun pause and look back.

Sehun walked back to his room and tried his best to ignore the sweet words, because he knew behind those sweet words were nothing but lies.

He plopped down on his bed and closed his eyes.
