Im Yoona hadn't been this hyped about the alphabet since kindergarten, but there was no exaggeration in saying getting a new "letter" from Seohyun was the highlight of her day. Every day around 4:00, the ginger goddess would stride into the music shop, get showered with Yoona's flirty comments, then swiftly hand her a CD or record with her next musical letter and leave, leaving the blonde in a mystified daze. So far the letters spelled out : "S.E.O. J." and the cashier was filling a tiny notepad with her guesses. She was going to take an educated guess and conclude that "Seo" was the girl's surname meaning her first name started with a "J".  

    The blonde had just finished writing the name Seo Jiyoung down in her notebook as Sooyoung muttered a quiet "I'm hungry" and left on her lengthy lunch break. With a tiny wave to her tall friend, Yoona quickly peeked at the clock and noticed it was already 3:45 and she hadn't fixed herself for her mysterious redhead. Ever since their embarrassing meeting. the blonde made sure she would always look good for the other girl from then on. She giddily skipped over to one of the display stereos and played the latest track delivered by the gorgeous stranger: "Just right" by Got7. She couldn't help but to let her signature face-splitting grin spread across her face as she quickly made her way to the employee restroom to check her appearance. 

    Today her long blonde hair was down as usual, though she decided to wear a maroon beanie for a cooler style. As for her outfit, she wore another clever t-shirt with a black and maroon flannel on top, but towards 2:30, it got a bit hot and she had to tie it around her waist. The t-shirt was perhaps her proudest part of the outfit since it was going to be another way for the girl to flirt with Seohyun. After spilling the entire story of her encounter with the ginger to her best friend Yuri, they both decided that the blonde's best bet would be to pull out all the stops in terms of seduction. It was no secret that Yoona had a great body; being best friends with a gym addict had it's perks and now it was time for her abs to do what they were created to do: wrangle in a hottie. The t-shirt was black with white text that read "Blink if you want me." and to up the flirtiness, Yuri had cut the shirt into a crop-top to put her abs on full display. As the cashier's eyes scanned her reflection for any sort of embarrassing blemishes and finding none, she sent herself a playful wink and dusted off her ripped skinny jeans before heading back out to the front counter. 

    Almost like clockwork, as soon as Yoona returned to her post, the front door creaked open and revealed her dreamy crush sporting short-shorts and an off-white blouse with turquoise accents on the front. As the blonde's eyes scanned up the other girl's body she realized her hair was a bit lighter than it had been previously, taking on a more strawberry blonde hue. She looked perfect. As always. Before the cashier could get wrapped up in the checking out her crush, the door opened again revealing a shorter girl with dark hair and  an alarmingly loud voice. With a jolt, she forced herself to look away and focus. She needed to get in the zone. Operation "Seducing Miss Mystery" was ago.

    To say the past four days weren't eventful for Seohyun would be a blatant lie. In fact, meeting Im Yoona seemed to instantly make each day more interesting. She'd lost count of the amount of times her heart was sent aflutter by a particularly swoon-worthy remark from the energetic blonde or how many times she found herself grinning up at her ceiling upon remembering something funny the cashier did to make her laugh. It didn't take long for her friends to notice her drastic change in mood after her trip to the music shop and after the poor maknae was cornered, she finally caved and told them about the goofy music shop employee who managed to make the uptight student spend her free time on something that wasn't studying. Tiffany unnie had always been a er for romantic scenarios, and Seohyun's made the eye-smiling princess melt right there on the spot. 

"Can you believe it taetae? Our little Seobaby's finally found love!" 

"U-unnie, I wouldn't exactly call it love. Yoona and I are just friends!" 

The brunette shot a glare up at the maknae that said 'let me have this you little robot.' which managed to shut the younger girl up in a flash. Taeyeon couldn't help but to let out her signature ahjumma cackle and roll her eyes at her dramatic girlfriend. 

"So you're making this Yoona girl wait for it eh, maknae?" The short blonde quipped with a wiggle of her eyebrows. "Didn't know we raised such a tease! Fany-ah, our Seobaby's a vixen!" 

Seohyun's entire face took over a hilarious red color which proceeded in making her unnies nearly die of laughter. After what seemed like an eternity of the two older girls laughing at their friend, Tiffany finally caught her breath and spoke up.

"Okay but seriously Hyun, you sound like you really like this girl so why are you making her jump through hoops to score a date with you? I understand you wanting to make her work for it since she came off as a little greasy when she started flirting with you, but what are you going to do if she cant figure out your name? Don't you want to go out with her?"

The younger girl sighed and nodded while staring at the wall to try calming her blush. "I know Tiffany unnie I already thought of that, but if she winds up losing the game it doesn't mean I can't just ask her out myself right? I just want to know if all of this is even worth it."  

Tiffany still looked skeptical and prodded the maknae to continue. 

"What I mean is, what if she loses and gives up on trying to pursue  me because she thinks it all was a waste of her time? Or what if she wins and we finally go on a date, but afterwards she never calls me again because she realizes the thrill of the chase is a lot more fun than actually having who she was chasing?" 

Taeyeon and Tiffany both exchanged worried glances before the shortest decided to speak her mind. "Seo Joohyun, you listen to me right now." For a short girl, Taeyeon really knew how to seem intimidating and command a room. Seohyun was sitting upright, her eyes widening in surprise and fear of her unnie's stern tone. Tiffany on the other hand had to fight the urge to to fan herself as she drooled over her girlfriend's y authoritative demeanor.

"I don't ever want to hear you putting yourself down like that again, do you hear me? You are a smart, kind, and absolutely beautiful girl that anyone would be lucky to have.  I don't know this Yoona girl, but trust me; if she wasn't serious about you, she would have never agreed to your challenge. She obviously wants to get to know you and no matter what happens I can guarantee that she will stick around." The short blonde's stern expression melted into a gentle one as she wrapped her arms around the tall redhead in a supportive hug. "Fany and I care about you a lot Seohyun. Trust us, this will all work out." 

A faint sniffle was heard from where Tiffany was believed to be sitting but in about a millisecond, the raven haired beauty already had her arms wrapped around the maknae creating a warm group hug. Seohyun's heart began to swell with thankfulness for both of her loving unnies. They really were like her parents, only a lot funnier and- well...gay. Super gay.  

"Thank you unnies, I really needed this." Seohyun murmured gratefully as she gave the shorter girl's bodies a loving squeeze before breaking the hug to check the time on her phone. Her eyes widened when she realized it was already 3:45. "Oh! I have to go give Yoona her next song, I have to go, sorry unnies!" The tall maknae quickly grabbed the Journey record resting on her desk and tried her best to rush out of the dorm without the older girl's trying to follow her, but as always; luck was not on her side as Tiffany's loud voice sounded from behind her. 

"Wait! I'll come with, I need to see this girl for myself. She must be gorgeous if she captured your attention." She remarked with a playful giggle, only to receive a pained expression from her dongsaeng and a rough smack on the from her girlfriend causing her to let out a surprised yelp. 

"Behave yourself Fany-ah." Taeyeon warned, raising an eyebrow at the slightly taller girl and smirking menacingly. The look alone made the American girl shiver with anticipation of what she'd get if she didn't. Just thinking about it made her want to take the blonde back to their dorm and- 

"Fany unnie are you coming with me or not? I really don't want to be late..." The strawberry blonde's words quickly shook her out of her erted trance and made her reluctantly bid her lover farewell. 

The walk to the music store really wasn't that long, but Tiffany really hated walking. She tried to convince her uptight friend to let her just drive them there instead, but Seohyun would have absolutely none of it. Her reasoning being "Walking is good for you unnie. Everyone could use a little more fresh air and exercise." Typical. 

When they finally reached the music shop, Seohyun was quite a few feet ahead since her strides were longer and Tiffany was dragging her feet in defiance, but as soon as she made it inside; her eyes instantly landed on a tall blonde in a beanie. The girl was, for lack of a better term; Hot as hell itself and as the American girl's eyes traveled down the slender body of the Music shop hottie, she realized she was wearing a crop-top that revealed a set of truly drool-worthy abs. Seohyun was either a saint or had the -drive of a peanut because this girl looked like she was carved out of marble by Aphrodite herself. 

"Damn..."  Tiffany muttered in English, still a bit dazed by the sight of the Cashier. 'That must be the friend Sooyoung hired last month...' She thought to herself before snapping out of it and quickly moving  to stand beside Seohyun to get some answers. "Holy Seobaby, she's really hot, how are you not a puddle on the floor right now?" She whispered to the taller girl as they pretended to look through the aisles of dusty records. 

"U-Unnie!" Seohyun whispered back in embarrassed protest; her already present blush from spotting the blonde's abs managed to darken from Tiffany's words. "I'm aware of how attractive Yoona is, but I also have some self control!" The maknae hissed back, still extremely embarrassed by the fact that the American girl was going to have to witness the cashier's relentless flirting and will undoubtedly for it later. 

The older girl let out a dramatic gasp and raised her hand to her chest in mock-offense. "I resent that statement! Gosh, kids these days and their sassy mouths." Their little whisper argument was cut short by the sound of someone clearing their throat behind them, causing them to stop in their tracks and slowly turn to see Yoona leaning against one of the aisles with a smug looking smirk tugging at her lips and her eyes locked on the sputtering strawberry blonde across from her. 

"So you think I'm attractive do you, Seobaby?" The blonde muttered in a teasing tone causing Seohyun to blush even more and shoot a fiery glare to her loud-mouthed unnie. 

"That's a pretty cute nickname and I'm glad I've finally got something to call you besides gorgeous. Don't get me wrong, the name still fits you perfectly, but Seobaby is totally better." Yoona finished her remark with a wink before glancing towards Tiffany and grinning like the giant dork she is. "Thanks, I was really trying hard to come up with new stuff to call her. You wouldn't happen to be willing enough to tell me her actual name though would you? I've kind of got to figure it out if I wanna take her on a date." she pretended to whisper the last part, mimicking the American girl's terribly loud whispering skills. 

Tiffany only laughed and shook her head before wagging a finger and speaking up. "Oh no you don't, my friend here already told me about your little deal and you won't get anything else out of me." She pretended to zip shut and lock it with an invisible key before giggling once more and nudging Seohyun like an embarrassing mother. If it was possible for the young student to get even redder, she would. 

'Bringing Tiffany Unnie was a bad idea.' She thought to herself as she tried to remain calm under Yoona's smoldering gaze. 'Okay Joohyun, look somewhere else, bring the eye contact down to a minimum' Her eyes quickly left the connection to the blonde's warm brown ones and instead lowered to read the girl's shirt. She blinked in concentration to focus on the letters since she once again left her glasses in her dorm, but once she was able to read it, her deep blush returned with a vengeance as she looked back up to see Yoona wiggling her eyebrows and grinning widely. 

"I couldn't help but notice how much you were blinking a few seconds ago, could it mean that you want me Seobaby?" Yoona teased with another dorky eyebrow wiggle.  Tiffany, who had already read the girl's shirt when she walked in, burst out into another loud laugh as she began to browse through the records. Seohyun shot the girl another glare before returning her attention to the blonde in front of her and choosing not to answer her question. 

"I brought your next song if you want it." She spoke in a steady and strong tone, overcompensating for the fact that her heart was practically vibrating against her rib cage with how rapidly it was fluttering. 'Don't give in Joohyun. Make her work for it!' 

Even though Yoona was a bit disappointed with the way the girl ignored her flirting, she couldn't be discouraged after hearing that she thought she was attractive. 'You can do this Yoong, go get her tiger!' "Of course I want it, the more hints I get, the sooner I can finally ask you out." She replied charmingly as she lead the strawberry blonde over to shop's main-use record player to play the track. 

"What's the track number beautiful?" 

"Do you ever get tired of being such a flirt Im Yoona?" Seohyun asked with a flustered sigh as she dropped the needle down where track 10 started. 

Yoona simply shrugged as she began to concentrate on if she knew the song or not. After only five seconds, she chuckled and grinned back up at the other girl. "Open Arms huh? Didn't peg you as a Journey fan."

"There's a lot you don't know about me, starting with my name." The younger of the two fired back playfully, making the blonde's grin grow even wider if that was possible. 

Without wasting another moment, she rushed behind the counter to retrieve her notepad and added an "O" next to her previously acquired "J".  Seohyun had to bite her lip to stop herself from grinning at the adorable sight of Im Yoona concentrating. From the way the girl's eyebrows furrowed to that heartbreakingly cute pout that practically begged to be kissed, there wasn't an inch of the blonde that Seohyun didn't like. She was jolted from her Yoona-induced daze when she heard a loud crash from the other side of the store causing her to glance warily over to where Tiffany stood, shuffling her feet sheepishly. with CD's scattered all around the floor. 

"Whoops." She muttered in English as she averted the irritated Maknae's eyes.

"Oh man, that's the third time this week! We really need to fix that CD rack." Yoona groaned as she made her way over to where the mess was, preparing to painstakingly alphabetize the discs all over again until she was abrubtly stopped by her mystery girl pressing a hand to the front of her shoulder. The blonde felt her face practically burst into flames as the other girl looked at her with those big brown eyes and smiled apologetically before hastily removing her hand. 

"I-It's alright. Tiffany and I can clean it up. This wasn't your fault and you shouldn't have to pick up after us." Before Yoona could defend herself by stating that cleaning up after them was her job, Seohyun had already turned around to scold her unnie and begin picking up the fallen CDs. 

After about five minutes of cleaning up CD's while Yoona and Seohyun playfully argued over helping pick them up, Tiffany's knees began to ache from being in a crouched position for so long and she decided to walk it off for a bit. About a minute later, the store received a phone call which Yoona had to rush to answer leaving the youngest girl to continue alphabetizing the discs. Once the tall blonde made it to the counter and answered the call, her shikshin manager came rushing through the door in a huff, only to be met by an awkwardly limping Tiffany, a focused Seohyun and a confused Yoona in the middle of a phone call. 

Tiffany was the first to speak as she gave the tall girl her signature eye-smile. "Hey Soo! Sorry about the CD rack, I keep forgetting it's a little rickety." 

Sooyoung could only shake her head and chuckle at the sight of the scattered CDs. "Dammit Fany, that's the third time this week! You better not make Maknae do all the work or I'll tell Taeyeon you're mistreating her precious daughter." She playfully remarked as she headed behind the counter. 

Unnoticed by the two chattering girls by the door, Yoona had been listening in on their conversation curiously since she had no idea Sooyoung knew who these girls were. The moment she heard the shikshin refer to her mystery crush as "maknae", the blonde instantly got struck by a spark of hope. As Sooyoung made her way behind the counter, the cashier acted casually and finally ended the phone call. 

"Hey Soo, you're back early did something happen?" The younger girl asked, putting her acting skills to use as she silently formulated her plan. 

"Yeah, I made it to my first food truck stop when I realized I left my wallet here." her manager replied with a roll of her eyes. "Are Fany and maknae giving you any problems?" 

Yoona could have cried with how perfectly Sooyoung had played into her trap. 'Seobaby, get ready to go on that date...' She thought to herself before casually continuing. "Nah, they're fine. That Tiffany's kind of clumsy though. Actually, I've kinda got my eye on the maknae over there, but I completely missed what her name was when she told me. Care to help a girl out?" She asked, in a lowered voice so as not to get caught by Tiffany who was making her way back to the CD pile.

"Tsk Tsk, ah Yoona, you've really got to learn to listen properly when a woman speaks to you." Sooyoung chastised playfully.

"Aw c'mon unnie pweeeeaaase?" Yoona cooed, doing as much aegyo as possible causing the older girl to gag.

"Aish, if it gets you to not do that anymore then fine. Her name is Joohyun, but pretty much everyone calls her Seohyun." Sooyoung whispered with a roll of her eyes before nudging past the blonde to get from behind the counter. "Now if you'll excuse me, I need food. Badly."

Yoona couldn't have cared if Sooyoung had just said she was late to go kill a man since she was still frozen in complete and utter shock at finally getting her crush's name. 'Seo Joohyun. The most beautiful name I've ever heard...' She thought to herself as she leaned against the counter with her hand held over her heart. This was it. She was finally going to be able to ask the gorgeous girl who'd stolen her heart on an official date. With a smirk, she chuckled to herself and strutted confidently over to where Seohyun was still crouched collecting CDs. 

"Oh, you lovely ladies can call it quits, I can take it from here." Yoona said as casually as she could. 

Without looking up, Seohyun replied. "You're not allowed to help, remember?" 

"Oh but it's getting late and you need to go rest up!" The blonde replied, her grin spreading so wide she though her face would split in two. 

"What are you talking about? I don't have any plans tomorrow." The younger girl said, looking up at the smug looking girl with a confused frown.

"Oh yes you do. You've got a date with me tomorrow. I'll pick you up at seven at the main campus grounds." Yoona nonchalantly replied as she leaned up against a shelf. 

Seohyun raised an eyebrow and slowly stood up, skeptically crossing her arms as a way to call the blonde's bluff. "Oh? And what makes you think you can do that when you don't know my name Yoona?" 

Tiffany was frozen in anticipation as she watched the two girls face off, curious as to if Yoona really knew Seohyun's name. 

"Who says I don't know your name Joohyun?" Yoona practically purred as she took a step forward and smirked before continuing. "Or should I call you Seohyun? I hear that's what your friends call you, though I figured I'd be different since I plan to be much more than just a friend to you..." 

It felt as if everything around them was frozen as Seohyun stood paralyzed beneath Yoona's smug gaze. How in the world did she find that out? She had only just given her the new track twenty minutes ago and even then, how could she have figured out that her nickname was Seohyun? The younger girl's mind was working on overdrive as she tried to rationalize Yoona's new found knowledge until she felt the blonde's breath slightly tickling her ear and neck, causing a tremulous shiver to run down her spine as she waited for her to speak. 

"By the way...Sooyoung says hi."
