It is her all along

"I can't believe you did that!" Yuri explodes in anger as soon as she got out of the car and harshly opens the door to their home. She stops her tracks in the middle of the huge living room and furiously throws away her handbag onto the couch. The maids who were tidying the room just now are startled by her sudden entrance into the house. They quickly run away to the other living room, not wanting to be victims of her rage. Not long after, Mr. and Mrs. Kwon walk into the house, following her from behind

"Why?! Just why, dad?!" she turns around to face her parents

"I'm doing this for your own good, Yuri" he calmly explains to her. They knew she would react like this

"Don't raise your voice to your father, Yuri! What about you? You were 30 minutes late! Where were you?! You embarrassed me and your father!" Mrs. Kwon defends her husband. Mr. Kwon is always the calm type, while Mrs. Kwon is always strict towards her daughter's behavior. Let's just say, she can handle her temper better than her own husband

"Is that important right now?! If I had known what you guys have been planning, maybe I shouldn't have come to that stupid dinner!"

"KWON YURI!!" Mrs. Kwon yells at her daughter's harsh words

"Just why the heck didn't you tell me?! You should've discussed it with me first!" she points to herself. She needs them to know that her opinion also matters in this case

"Because we knew you wouldn't approve" Mr. Kwon stares into her eyes with a serious expression. Yuri rolls her eyes and scoffs in disbelief. So they just decided to force me instead??

"But this is not what I want, dad! I can decide on my own! I don't care. I want you to call the Choi family and cancel this engagement. I'm not doing it!" Yuri glares at the both of them

"Yuri, listen to me. You are our only daughter and the only successor of Castle Hotel. We're just trying to do what's best for you. We're doing this because we love you" her father tries to persuade her nicely

"Because you love me? Oh, so that's why you're selling me off to your best friend's son?! To some stranger?!"

"Choi Minho is not a stranger to me! I've known him since he was three years old, Yuri! He's a good kid, and I believe he's the best man there is for you!" Mr. Kwon yells in anger. He is losing his patience because of Yuri's attitude. He would never 'sell' his own daughter to some stranger. Yuri just doesn't appreciate what he's trying to do for her

"But I don't like him, dad! I already HAVE a boyfriend. Donghae is the one I love, not Choi Minho" Yuri confesses to her parents for the first time. This is the main reason why she doesn't agree with this whole engagement thing. For her parents, they never knew she was in a relationship. She barely tells them anything. But her reason won't stop them

"Donghae? You mean the guy who went out clubbing with you every night? That must be him, right?" Mr. and Mrs. Kwon knew all along how Yuri always goes out late at night and comes home at dawn with the smell of alcohol all over her. That's what the maids have been telling them. When they're doing the laundry, Yuri's clothes always smell like alcohol whenever she comes home late. She must've been hanging out with that Donghae guy

"Don't talk about him like that. You haven't even met him!" Yuri defends her boyfriend

"What kind of guy would bring his girlfriend to go clubbing every night? If he really is a good man, he would've remembered to send you home early, Yuri! Not late at dawn!" her mother barges into the conversation. Like Mr. Kwon, she also doesn't like the guy that Yuri's been hanging out with

"Stop acting like you know so much about him, mom! I don't care. You HAVE to cancel the engagement. I won't do it" Yuri folds her amrs and looks away. She's trying hard to win over her parents, and she doesn't intend to lose

"Yes, you will. Why? Because you've always wanted to take over my position at the Castle Hotel, isn't it? Well then, if you want it that badly, you're gonna have to get engaged to Choi Minho first! That's my condition. Now it's up to you, Yuri. Make your choice" Mr. Kwon slowly gets close to her with a serious expression. He doesn't want to lose as well. If that's the way it is, then he has no choice but to follow Yuri's game. Yuri becomes speechless, and her body is trembling in anger

"Therefore, the engagement is on. I'm holding the ceremony within two weeks away, whether you like it or not, Kwon Yuri" Hearing her father's words, Yuri glares at him in disbelief and her jaw slightly drops. She is now trapped. It has been her dream to manage the Castle Hotel because she believes that's the only thing she's best at. She is already that close into reaching her dream, and she doesn't bear to let that chance slip out of her grasp

"Urgh! You guys are unbelievable!!" she yells in defeat and stomps her feet to reach her handbag on the couch. She heads for the stairs, gets into her room and slams the door. Mr. and Mrs. Kwon can only sigh heavily. Yuri can be so stubborn when she wants to. Mr. Kwon closes his eyes tightly and rubs his temples, while his wife his shoulder to calm him down. He slowly shakes his head over their daughter's spoiled attitude

Yuri stomps her feet towards the bed and throws the pillow harshly to the floor. She drops her body and handbag onto the bed in frustration and covers her face with both of her hands. No, this can't be happening. Tell me this is a nightmare. Choi Minho? Why does it have to be him?! What am I going to do?? How am I supposed to tell Donghae about this? She sighs heavily and sweeps her hair backwards. She lies her body down and bites her bottom lip, trying to think of something.

After a while, she has come up with a decision. She rolls her body to the side to reach for her cellphone. She unlocks it to find a picture of Donghae as her wallpaper. She clicks the contacts button and scrolls through the list. When she finally found Donghae's number, she presses the dial button. The caller answers his phone after three rings.

"Hey, babe. Are you busy?" Yuri greets him with a low voice. She keeps quiet for a moment to hear his voice

"Listen, I know it's already late, but can I see you right now?" Yuri asks her boyfriend. Then she slightly chuckles

"Yes, I know we already did this evening. But I really need to see you again. I have something important to discuss with you" she says in a hopeful voice. Finally she flashes a small smile

"Okay, I'll see you at the usual place" she concludes the conversation and ends the phone call.

At the same time, the Choi family has just arrived home from their meeting with the Kwon family. Minho is about to head towards the stairs to get to his bedroom when his parents suddenly call him from behind.

"Just a minute, young man" Mr. Choi calls him. Minho turns to his parents with that wide smile still stuck on his face

"Do you mind telling us what happened just now at dinner? I thought you said you'd turn down your uncle's request" Mr. Choi asks him while raising his eyebrow. Even his wife is confused of their son's sudden action

"Minho, is this about that guilt that's building up inside of you? Is that the reason why you changed your mind? I thought we talked about this, son. You don't have to feel sorry" Mrs. Choi interrogates him. She really doesn't understand why he did it when this afternoon he firmly explained to her how he really didn't want to be with Kwon Yoon Seung's daughter

"Mom, dad... You're not gonna believe it!" Minho smiles excitedly to them with sparkling eyes

"Believe what?" Mr. and Mrs. Kwon ask him back with raised eyebrows, totally not getting it. Ever since they're back from dinner, Minho has been acting really strange. His expression shows excitement and he's brighter than usual

"Mom, dad... The girl whom I'm in love with all this while... That girl is KWON YURI!!" he raises his arms up in the air as if he had won a lottery. His parents stare at him as if he has lost his mind

"What...?" his parents say at the same time. What is he saying?

"I'M SO HAPPY!!" his shout can be heard by everyone in the house. The maids in the kitchen are all gathering behind the door, secretly peeking at him. They giggle at his childish behavior. He is quite cute! Minho runs towards Mr. Choi to hug him. He shakes his father uncontrollably due to happiness. Mr. Choi is frozen in his place, feeling dumbfounded once more. Minho then goes to his mother and hugs her with his strong arms, lifting her up and spinning her in the air

"Mom! This is the best day of my life!" he shouts while spinning her around

"Yah, Choi Minho! Put me down this instant!" her mother yells at him. Her head is getting dizzy because of him. Minho immediately puts her back down to the ground

"Son, can you explain to us slowly? So that we can understand what you're trying to say" his father requests of him

"Mom, dad, the girl whom I fell in love with... I met her three days ago when I was playing soccer. That day, I only get to send her home without knowing her name or her number. Even though our meeting was so short, she made me feel so happy. But today, I found out that she is actually Kwon Yuri! Can you believe this wonderful coincidence?? It is her all along! She is Uncle Kwon's daughter!" he shouts in happiness to his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Choi widen thier eyes in surprise. This is indeed a miraculous coincidence. The three start to cheer together

"Really?! Wow, I'm so happy for you, Minho-ah! You can finally be with her!" Mrs. Choi cups his face

"Then that means Yoon Seung and I will be in-laws! Way to go, son!" Mr. Choi pats Minho's back in happiness

"Can you believe it? Isn't this is what they call destiny??" Minho chuckles at his parents

"Aww... Baby, I'm so happy for you!" Mrs. Choi wraps her arms around him and hugs him tightly. She's so happy seeing Minho finally gets the girl that he loves. From this moment on, she'll make sure to always be there and support him till their engagement day. Seeing the harmonious bonding moment between mother and son, Mr. Choi also joins in for a family hug. His son is now happy. There's nothing more he could ever ask for.
