I'm happy you turned out to be the one

Minho and Yuri are standing hand in hand on the stage for all to see. They have become the center of everyone's attention. Exchanging the engagement rings is the highlight of the event. Minho holds the ring to find it fitting perfectly into her finger. He smiles gently with a loving gaze at the girl in front of him. But unlike him, Yuri is in reluctance. She slowly reaches for the ring placed in front of them and slips it into his with her hands slightly trembling in hesitation. She never wanted this, but she knew that sacrifices have to be made to reach her dreams.

The guests applaud loudly, accompanied with whispers of how great the couple looked together. The ceremony continues on with a short speech from Mr. Kwon as the representative of both families. He goes up onto the stage to express his gratitude.

"Annyeonghaseyo to our fellow relatives, friends and colleagues. I am Kwon Yoon Seung" he announces to the others with his head bowing slightly in respect

"Today we have gathered to witness the engagement of the only heir of the Choi family, Choi Minho and my only daughter, Kwon Yuri. On behalf of both families, we sincerely want to thank everyone for sparing the time to attend this blissful ceremony. Your attendances mean a lot to us. Thank you so much" he says with a thankful heart

"I can't tell you how happy I am to be standing right here, watching my daughter standing hand in hand with the young man that I have known for a long time, to be the right man for her. I have cared for Choi Minho as my own son, and now I feel so thankful to God to see the both of them together. I pray that they'll stay like this together until the day of the marriage, and of course, till the end of time" Mr. Kwon continues while glancing at the couple standing in the middle of the stage

"Thank you all once again. We have prepared a buffet on the right side of the hall to express our gratitude. You are all welcome to enjoy the feast. Please help yourselves. I hope you will all have a great time on the rest of the ceremony" he concludes with a bow and climbs down the stage. The others applaud once again and they disperse for the buffet table.

Minho walks down the stage with Yuri linking her arm into his. Some of the invitees head over to congratulate the couple. Minho and Yuri thank the guests in gratitude and they continue to roam around the hall to greet the rest.

"Minho sunbae!" Minho turns his head around to the familiar voice. From a distance, he can see all of his junior teammates rushing over to him with their hands waving in excitement. He can also see Professor Shin within the group too. He finishes his greetings to the guests at the table and heads closer to meet them with Yuri following beside him

"You came, guys! Professor Shin is here too??" he releases Yuri's arm for a moment and hugs each of his juniors excitedly. He hasn't been able to meet them for a while. He did send the invitations but he really didn't expect them to come. He understands that they are busy practicing for the upcoming match

"Of course! Our captain is getting engaged so how could we not attend??" Luhan replies with a bright smile. But then, they all start to glance at Yuri in curiosity

"But sunbae, your fiance..." Amber murmurs cautiously with a faded voice. They totally recognize her, and they totally remember of their first impressions towards her. Cold and hot tempered...

"Oh, right! You guys met her before, right? This is Kwon Yuri!" he chuckles, slightly motioning his thumb to Yuri. The juniors bow slightly with a small smile, still afraid of her icy attitude back in the past

"Yul, these are my soccer juniors. You remember them, don't you?" Minho smiles at her while glancing at the group

"Yes, sorry about what happened back then. I was just having a rough day" Yuri states out, trying to smile as bright as possible. It's just awkward for her to be staring at the frightened eyes of Minho's juniors. However, her effort kind of worked out. They now start to feel a bit relieved

"Oh, it's okay! It was our fault anyway. We were just so into practice" Kai chuckles friendlily. Now that Yuri seems like a whole different person, they feel that they can now communicate comfortably with her

"Wow. Sunbae, you have no idea how shocked we were when we saw you on that stage. Who knew you guys would end up being together?? Isn't this is what they call destiny? Even Professor Shin's eyes were wide like this!" Lay jokes around with his fingers trying to widen his eyes, imitating her reaction just now. The others laugh of the mischievous Lay and Professor Shin slightly hits his arm in embarrassment

"Hey, you keep quiet or I'll break your leg the next time you're coming into MY infirmary!" she glares at him while the others continue to laugh

"Yeah, me too. I never thought I'd met her this way. But anyhow, I'm happy that she turns out to be the one" Minho holds her hand tightly and gazes at her with love. Yuri can only bow her head down to hide her nervous heart

"Congratulations, sunbae. Yuri noonim, please take good care of our hyung. We'll rely on you" Suho bows politely to her, and the others follow after. Yuri forces a smile and bows slightly

"Thanks, guys. Aren't you hungry?? Go ahead and enjoy the buffet. Bring Professor Shin with you" Minho invites them to enjoy the feast prepared at the other side. They all cheer happily at the mention of food

"Woohoo! Let's go, guys! I'm hungry! Bye, sunbae! Congratulations!" Sehun cheers while dragging the others to follow him to the table. The others wave goodbye

"Congratulations, Minho-ah!" Professor Shin pats his shoulder with a smile and leaves to join the group. Minho nods and waves happily at her.

The couple continues to entertain the guests when Minho suddenly spots Sooyoung talking to one of the guests at the table. Minho smiles from a distance and he excitedly pulls Yuri over to meet Sooyoung. He really wants to introduce her to his favorite cousin.

"Sooyoungie!" Minho shouts while taking a few steps closer to her. Sooyoung shifts her attention to find him waving excitedly at her

"Oh, Minho-ah!" she waves back with a smile and goes closer to talk to him

"Hey! Have you eaten??" Minho greets her with a pat on the shoulder

"Of course! We're talking about food here, how could I miss that one out?" chuckles Sooyoung. Minho laughs of the shikshin Sooyoung

"Hey, meet my fiance! Yul, this is a very close cousin of mine, Sooyoungie!" Minho introduces to the both of them with a bright smile. He just feels so excited that two of the important people in his life finally meet each other

"Oh, never mind him. Yul is just a cheesy nickname he gave me. I'm Kwon Yuri. Nice to meet you, Sooyoung-ssi" Yuri rolls her eyes at Minho. She turns to Sooyoung and offers her a handshake. Minho can only pout because of her statement

"Nice to meet you too, Yuri-ssi" Sooyoung giggles while shaking her hand. She just finds it so funny how Yuri seems to not like the nickname that her cousin has given her

"Well, actually Minho is kind of right. Yul does suit you well, Yuri-ssi. But you're also not wrong. It's true that Minho can actually be cheesy at times" Sooyoung jokes while glancing at Minho with crossed arms. He scoffs in disbelief of his cousin's statement while Sooyoung continues to by sticking her tongue out

"It seems that the two of you are really close" Yuri slightly chuckles when witnessing the argument between the two relatives

"Yes, we grew up together, Yuri-ssi. That's why. But now that Minho's engaged, I hope we can get along very well. Let's get closer in the future, Yuri-ssi!" Sooyoung utters with a smile. Yuri forces a small smile upon hearing her statement and just nods her head. In the future? We'll see...

It's already late in the afternoon and the ceremony is coming to an end. The hall slowly starts to decrease in the number of people inside it because of the guests leaving one by one. It is almost empty now. The Choi and the Kwon family are standing at the door to send off the guests.

"Goodbye, Sooyoungie! See you soon!" Minho and Yuri bid farewell to Sooyoung who's walking out the door with her parents

"You too, Minho-ah! See you, Yuri-ssi!" Sooyoung waves back enthusiastically with a smile. The couple chuckles of her cheerful behavior. She is no different than Minho, Yuri thought.

Together with the both of their parents accompanying them at the door, Minho and Yuri continues to send off the remaining guests when suddenly Minho feels as though his throat is drying up.

"Yul, can you continue to send them off on behalf of me? I'm thirsty. I'm going to go and grab a punch" states Minho, slightly pointing his thumb to the buffet table

"Okay, don't take too long" nods Yuri

"Do you want me to get you a drink too?" Minho asks her. She must be tired after entertaining the guests since this morning

"No, thanks. You go ahead" Yuri refuses with a small smile. Minho nods his head and excuses himself to the buffet table while Yuri continues to send off the guests with a smile.

Minho reaches out for the glass arranged at the end of the table. He starts to pour in the fruit punch and takes a small sip of the drink. He turns around to leave the table when suddenly a waitress who's heading towards his direction accidentally bumps into him. The tray filled with a few leftover drinks that she carried just now has dropped to the floor, completely shattered. Some of it has also spilled right onto Minho's tuxedo. The accident has managed to catch everyone's attention inside the hall.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry!" the waitress gasps with her hand covering in shock. She gets panicked and quickly reaches for a tissue inside her pocket. From the distance, Yuri and the others are wondering in curiosity of the scene happening in front of them

"I'm so sorry, sir Minho! I wasn't looking where I was going" she apologizes again and again and goes over to wipe the wet, red stain on his tuxedo. The smile on Yuri's face slowly starts to disappear when witnessing the scene in front of her. The waitress is standing so close to Minho and she keeps rubbing his chest

"No, no, it's okay. Let me do it" Minho says softly with a smile, trying to calm her down. He stops her act by lightly holding the both of her wrists, wanting to let her know that it's not a big deal. Seeing the skin ship between the two and the way Minho smiles at her, Yuri frowns her eyebrows and clenches her fists in anger. Just where the heck is he trying to touch her?!

"I'm so sorry! Please don't fire me!" she keeps bowing apologetically to Minho. Now that she suddenly sees the shattered glasses on the floor, she starts to remember of the mess she made and gasps in shock once again. She immediately kneels down to pick up the pieces

"Hey, don't!" Minho tries to stop her but it was too late

"Ouch!" she yells in pain. The sharp glass has cut her finger due to her carelessness, making it bleed. She widens her eyes in fright

"Are you okay??" Minho quickly grabs her wounded hand to have a look. Luckily the cut isn't that deep. He hurriedly reaches for his handkerchief in his pocket and gently presses it onto her finger to wipe the blood

"Does it hurt??" asks Minho with concern in his eyes. The waitress slightly shakes her head in embarrassment. She can't help but blush because of Minho's gaze. Witnessing the intimacy and how the waitress keeps looking at him, Yuri glares at them furiously and clenches her teeth. THAT'S IT!! She leaves the others at the door and dashes over to stop their actions

"You should get it bandaged later, okay? Get up now" asks Minho kindly. The waitress nods and they slowly stand up

"Choi Minho, what do you think you're doing?!" Yuri scowls at him, finally reached the two. She grabs Minho's arm tightly and pulls him to stand next to her. Since the table is slightly far, luckily the others at the door can only observe their actions and not able to hear her yells clearly

"She's hurt. I was just trying to help her" explains Minho while glancing at the waitress. Yuri can sense a slight tone of concern in his voice, which makes her mad even more

"Why?? Are you a doctor?! Is it necessary?!" she shouts while staring at him right in the eyes

"Yul, why are you-"

"And you! Next time watch where you're going so you won't bump into someone else's fiance! And get rid of that blushing look on your face before I smack it off for you!" Yuri cuts his sentences and scolds the waitress. Minho widens his eyes in shock because of her harsh words

"Y-Yes, Mi-Miss Yuri. I-I'm so-sorry" the waitress gasps in shock and bows her head in fear of the ferocious Yuri

"Yul! It wasn't her fault. Why are you being so harsh on her??" he argues with her. It's not that he's angry at her, but he just feels so bad for the waitress. She hurt her hand and now she receives a scolding from Yuri because of him

"Why are you defending her?? It hasn't been long since we got engaged and you're already flirting with another girl! If the others see this, what would they think?! What would that make me?!" screams Yuri, feeling even more irritated by his reaction. It hurts her pride. Why would he take on her side??

"Yul, I'm not flirt-" he's about to explain the situation but he gets cut off again by Yuri

"Whatever! Go ahead and help her! I'm leaving!" she rolls her eyes and rushes to leave the hall, wanting to head back into the dressing room. The others can only watch her leaving to the back of the hall, not knowing what has happened in the distance

"Wait, Yul!" Minho calls out for her but as expected, she ignores him and continues to leave. Minho sighs heavily and ruffles his hair. He turns to the waitress

"I'm very sorry about my fiance. Please don't take her words seriously. She was just probably tired" he apologizes with a small smile, trying to cheer her up

"No, it's okay. Maybe you should go and comfort her, sir Minho" the waitress slightly smiles, trying not to worry him

"Yes. But please make sure you get treated later, okay? My handkerchief... you can have it" Minho smiles warmly and bows politely to excuse himself. He runs to the back of the hall to find Yuri. The other employees start to gather around her to check her condition

"Yah, are you okay??" one of her friends ask her in concern

"What do you mean if she's okay? She just got scolded by the ice princess. It's a relief she didn't fire her" another blurts out. When Yuri stepped in just now, the others could only watch their friend being scolded from the side. They just couldn't do anything because of her presence

"Luckily sir Minho protected you. At least in front of her fiance, she would think twice of getting someone fired again" they sigh in relief

"Yeah, Miss Yuri is lucky enough to have a kind prince by her side. He's warm and gentle, unlike her. I just hope he would be able to change her cold attitude someday" another person murmurs carefully. The others nod sadly. When will their young mistress ever change?
