Just your charm

"YOU WANT TO DIE?!" Minho is startled and gets back to his senses when Yuri starts to yell at him. She harshly pushes away Minho's hand that was holding her shoulder

"Are you blind?! Do I look like a goalpost to you?! Big-eyed like you can't even aim right!" Yuri continues to shout at him. She starts to push his chest away harshly, making Minho accidentally backs away from her and drops to the ground. She is really furious. The juniors keep their silence, staring at them with widened eyes. Minho also starts to get frightened by her temper

"I... I'm so sorry! It was my mistake. Are you hurt anywhere??" Minho stutters. He tries to get a little closer to her to check if there are any wounds on her

"You think being sorry is enough?! My wrist hurts!!" she glares at him

"Really?! I'm truly sorry. If there's anything I could do, I would. To show you how sorry I am. I'm really sorry!" Minho bows his head. Anyone can see that his eyes are pleading with guilt. Seeing his action, Yuri softens a little and just looks away. She rolls her eyes and scoffs of this unbelievable situation

"Let me bring you to the school's infirmary. Please, at least allow me to do that. I won't feel better unless I get you treated" Minho carefully suggests to her. He stares at her, trying his best to cool down her temper

"Please?" he asks her once again since Yuri isn't responding to him. She just keeps on staring right into his eyes. Aigoo, this guy... Yuri finally nods slowly. She also feels quite bad for yelling at him. Minho can finally smile. He softly holds her shoulders from the back and helps her to stand up

"Sunbae, do you need help?" Suho voices out to Minho

"Suho-ah, can you help me carry these books to the infirmary?" Suho then nods

"Yes, sunbae". After that he turns to his teammates

"Guys, just continue with practice. I'll go and help Minho sunbae for a while. I'll be right back". Then s all nod and they head back to the middle of the soccer field to resume their practice. After picking up all the scattered books, Minho then starts to bring her to the infirmary with Suho following them from behind.

*Knock! Knock!

"Come in!" Minho turns the doorknob to find the school's professor at her table, scanning through some documents

"Annyeonghaseyo" Minho greets her. The professor lifts up her head after hearing the familiar voice

"Oh? Minho-yah... Did something happened?" she stands up to realize Minho escorting an unfamiliar girl

"Professor Shin, can you please check on her? Her wrist is injured". She nods and immediately leads Yuri to an empty bed and asks her to sit down. The professor then gets a chair and sits in front of Yuri to examine her. Minho turns to Suho whose standing beside him

"Suho-ah, thanks for your help. Just place these on the desk. Go ahead, the others must be waiting for you" Minho smiles thankfully to him and pats his shoulder. Suho heads to the nearby table and places all of the thick books on it. He turns back to Minho

"No problem. Take care, sunbae! I'll be leaving now" he bows politely and waves. He leaves for the door. After sending Suho, Minho goes back to Professor Shin and he sits beside Yuri

"So, how is it, Prof? Is it serious?" Minho stares at Professor Shin worriedly. He is really afraid if something terrible happens to her wrist. Professor Shin continues to move her wrist for a further check-up and wraps it up

"Don't worry, she's fine. The impact wasn't that strong enough to make it fractured. Her wrist is just sore. But it's just temporary. It should be better by tomorrow. All we need to do is just wrap a bandage around it, and it'll be as good as new!" Professor Shin holds Yuri's hand and smiles reassuringly to her. Yuri smiles back. After hearing that, Minho rubs his chest and sighs in relief. The professor then shifts her attention to Minho

"What exactly happened? Did this happen because of you, Minho?" she stares at Minho and smiles teasingly at him. She knows that judging on Minho's behavior, he actually did. Minho grins apologetically and bows his head. He rubs the back of his neck and glances at Yuri. Yuri is already looking at him and rolls her eyes to the other side, still doesn't want to let it slide

"It was an accident. It was my fault, professor" Minho pouts and bows his head once more. Professor Shin can only laugh at him. She already knew he would say so. She knows him very well. During Minho's days in the school, he's been going in and out of the infirmary ever since he joined the soccer club. Professor Shin would be the one treating his wounds. That's how they started to know each other and became close. Plus because of Minho's bubbly and friendly personality, Professor Shin always treats him like her own younger brother

"Yah Choi Minho, be careful next time. Luckily it isn't fractured" Professor Shin chuckles

"Alright, I have another student to check on. Minho-ah, put a bandage around her wrist and wrap it up, okay? I'll leave her to you now" Professor Shin chuckles and winks at him teasingly. She pinches his cheek and stands up to leave the two alone

"Professor Shin, wait up!" Minho stands up and approaches her. He giggles

"What is this? How could you leave without giving me a chance to say something? Hehe thank you, Prof! You know I always am" Minho smiles widely to her. Yuri just watches him talking to the professor and listens to their conversation attentively

"Aigoo... That's enough, kiddo. Plus you shouldn't be here. Everyone else is resting and having fun after graduation yet what are you doing still in school??" Seriously..." she rolls her eyes and chuckles. Yuri raises her eyebrows and wonders. So he just graduated yesterday, just like me?

"Minho-ah, live well and study hard, okay? You're an adult now, so grow up and stop being childish! Also, go easy on the football thing, got it?" Professor Shin smiles and pats his head

"What is this? You told me to grow up yet you still treat me as if I'm an eight-year-old" Minho chuckles. Professor Shin can only pout and she hits him lightly on the shoulder

"Yes, I got it. For all this time, thank you, Prof! You always treat me well. I'm very thankful" he smiles gratefully to his beloved professor. Since Minho is an only child, he also looks up at Professor Shin as his older sister. She his cheek as a reply and walks away, with Yuri witnessing the close relationship between the two.

Minho then turns to Yuri and flashes a little smile. He goes to the cupboard to look for the aid kit. After he found it, he brings it to Yuri and sits on the chair which was brought by Professor Shin a while ago. He starts to take out a long bandage.

"Tell me if it hurts or if it's too tight, okay?" Minho smiles to her, showing his doe-like eyes. Yuri just nods her head as a reply. He then tries to wrap the bandage around her wrist slowly and carefully. After only showing his bubbly and childish personality, this would be the first time for Yuri to see the serious side of him. He looks so focused that he could actually burn a hole through it

"So, you just graduated yesterday?" Yuri decides to break the serious and silent atmosphere. Minho glances at her to answer her question

"Yeah, I did. I think you're probably wondering why I came to school today, since everyone else kept asking me the same question" he giggles, concentrating back to bandaging her wrist

"Nope, not really. I'm doing the same thing too. See those books there? I just cleaned my locker this morning" she motions her eyes to her books at the nearby table

"Really?? You mean you also graduated yesterday?" Minho raises his eyebrows, surprised after hearing her statement. Yuri responds by showing him a small smile

"But... how come I didn't see you yesterday? In fact, how come I never saw you all this time in school? Since we graduated yesterday, it should mean that we're the same age, and the same intake" Minho still raises his eyebrows, feeling so confused. It's just strange how he never met her for the past five years he attended the school. To him, it just doesn't make any sense at all

"To answer your questions... Firstly, I didn't come yesterday because I dislike attending formal events. I'd rather slept in than wasting time for it. Plus I already asked for my certificate this morning from the principal. It's no big deal to miss the event" she chuckles

"Secondly, it's not that surprising. During my time here, I barely socialized with people and barely made friends. I prefer to hang by myself. That's just my way. I would come for lessons, but during free periods, I would either go home or spend time at the rooftop. You know, since nobody knows about that place" she glances at Minho and chuckles. It's just funny to her how Minho's face looks like as though she is the loneliest person he's ever met on earth. Anyone can see that his face truly shows disbelief

"Wow... I'm sorry" he pauses. Minho never thought that such a student would ever exist in their school. How could she go through school life all by herself? Without friends, if he may add. He suddenly feels sorry towards her

"What for? This?" she motions her injured wrist upwards for him to see

"Never mind, forget it. Today is just seriously not my day" she scoffs

"Well, that too. But... I actually meant that I'm sorry to hear that. If I had known you earlier, who knows? We might've became friends" Minho smiles and stares at her

"Oh please, don't be. Plus, even if you DID know me, I think I would've avoided from being friends with you" she says spontaneously and laughs at her own statement. Minho stares at her, feeling dumbfounded. Is she serious, or was that a joke? Minho wonders in his head. But then, seeing her laugh and how pleasant it rings into his ears, Minho automatically stares at her in admiration and his lips curled up like an idiot. Noticing that he has gone silent, Yuri glances at him

"Yah, what are you staring at?" Yuri waves her hand in front of his face to get him back to reality. Minho is startled and gets back to his senses

"Huh? Oh, s-sorry!" he apologizes and clears his throat

"Hurry up, will you? I haven't got all day" she shakes her injured wrist in front of his face, motioning him to fasten up on the bandage

"O-Oh, right!" he quickly gets back to his work and does it a little faster, but still careful. He finally cuts the remaining bandage and ties it neatly

"There! All done!" he smiles to her

"Alright, I better get going now" Yuri stands up from the bed and heads over to the desk to get her books

"No, wait! Let me carry it for you!" Minho quickly stands up from his seat and rushes first to the table, going past her. Yuri stops her tracks and backs a step away. She looks at him weirdly

"I mean, you shouldn't move your hand too much. Although Professor Shin said it'll be better by tomorrow but still, let's not overwork your hand. Let me carry them for you. In fact, let me send you home!" he grins widely at her. He obviously wants to spend more time with her, but of course Yuri is clueless of the situation

"No, you don't really have to. My driver is waiting for me anyway". She has a driver?? Come on, Minho. Think of something! You don't wnat to let her go this soon, right??

"No, no. It's not a big deal anyway. Please, just for today. It's the least I can do, since you got hurt because of me" he tries his best to persuade her. He keeps his cheeky grin on. Seeing that she has no other choice, she decides to say yes to him and goes to the corner to call and inform her driver. Meanwhile at the back, Minho is feeling too excited and he jumps silently in joy. YES! When he hears her ending the call, he maintains a straight face and keeps his composure, getting ahold of himself. He clears his throat

"Shall we?" he carries her books and leads her out of the infirmary and heads to his car.

Minho stops his car in front of a huge gate. He just realizes that the big house belongs to her. This is her home? Yuri opens the car window and presses some sort of button at the side of the gate. Not long after, the machine beeps and the huge gate automatically opens for the car to enter. A man who seems to be the butler steps out of the house and approaches the car. The two hop out and Minho goes to the backseat to get her books. He hands it over to the butler and bows politely. The butler bows back and heads back inside.

"Thanks for the ride. I should get inside now" Yuri says to him. She's about to enter the house when Minho suddenly calls for her from behind

"Wait!" Yuri turns around to face him with a questioned face

"It's funny how we talked all day but we don't even know each other's name" Minho giggles while thinking about the absurd situation

"Allow me to formally introduce myself. I'm Choi Minho! And you are?" he smiles friendlily and holds his hand out to shake hers. However, Yuri just stays silent and stares at him for a few seconds

"I think this includes one of those times when my parents told me not to talk to strangers" she keeps a straight face and glances at his hand

"P-Pardon?" Minho raises his eyebrows, dumbfounded because of her honest and blunt response. He hesitatingly pulls back his hand

"You should probably get going now. It's getting late. Thank you for the ride" Yuri bows and turns around to get into the house. She closes the door.

Minho is left outside with a blank expression on his face. He just stands still and blinks his eyes. Did she just ignore me? But unexpectedly, his lips curled up again and eventually chuckles to himself like a fool. I guess maybe all pretty girls act like this? He giggles in amusement. It's strange how he never gets irritated by her cold behavior towards him. Sure, maybe that's just the way she is, too honest and blunt. But for Minho, those are just two of her charms. Instead of him thinking that she's icy and cold, he thinks of her as a very chic girl. He smiles and places both of his hands into his pockets. Well then, have a nice dream. Good night, pretty angel... He takes one last look at the house and goes to his car.
