You look prettier with your hair tucked behind your ear

"Here we are!" Yuri can finally stop her running after being dragged all the way by Minho. They have now arrived in front of the place. Yuri takes a second to observe the environment. A crowd of people mingling in a bright and chaotic location... It's an amusement park?

"What are we doing here?" Yuri raises her eyebrow while staring at the place. It's been so long since she last went into one

"What do you mean 'what'? This is where we'll have our date. Why? You don't like amusement parks?" asks Minho. He really loves such fun places. But for Yuri, she's not really into them. Amusement parks are always crowded and she really can't stand with all the crazy screaming

"No. Let's just leave. So childish..." When Minho said he wanted to take her out, she didn't expect it to be fun, but she didn't have a choice either. For the sake of her promise to her father, she had to agree to go out with him. But coming to an amusement park? Could this get any worse?? She rolls her eyes and is about to walk away, but Minho grabs her hand to stop her

"Come on, don't be like that. Our engagement is in three days left. Let's at least have our date here" Minho pouts. Yuri sighs heavily. Yeah, he's right. Now we only have three days left before the ceremony. I hate it whenever he reminds me of that

"Hurry up, Yul. My juniors told me that today is the last day for this mini carnival. I promise you it'll be fun. Pleaseee?" pleads Minho, trying his best to be as cute as possible with his big, round eyes. Yuri scoffs in disbelief. Why do I have to get engaged to a choding anyway?? She slightly nods, decided to give in to him. Minho finally smiles in satisfaction

"Yaay! Thank you, Yul! Let's go!!" he cheers in happiness, dragging Yuri into the carnival. Not far from the entrance, he can spot a small store with a variety of hats in it. He runs over with Yuri behind him

"Yul, how do I look?" he tries on a purple Viking hat and poses around to let her see

"Yah, Vikings are supposed to look scary but this totally doesn't work on you!" states Yuri, trying to hold in her laughter. But then, she notices that people are starting to look at them

"Yah, enough. Hurry and take it off. So embarrassing... Let's go!" Yuri continues. She clears to get rid of the embarrassment. Minho can be so childish at times. She's about to walk out of the store but Minho grabs ahold of her

"Yul, hold on. What's the rush? At least let me buy you one" he persuades her. He leads her to the other section of the store. There, they can see that mostly are cute and pretty ribbons displayed on the rack. They are definitely perfect for Yuri

"Oh! You must like this one!" a black Minnie Mouse earmuff from the stand attracts his attention. He takes it off and turns to face her

"How about this?? When I went to your house, I saw a picture of you hugging a Mickey Mouse when you were little. But since you're a girl, why don't you try Minnie?" Minho holds the earmuffs and he's about to put it on her, but Yuri suddenly backs away

"Yah, this is embarrassing! Am I a kid to be wearing this?? Let's just forget it" she tries to leave again, but as expected, Minho won't accept 'no' as an answer. He pulls her back to him

"Can you just stay still?? Everyone's wearing it so why is it embarrassing?" Minho argues with the stubborn Yuri. Seeing how Minho is not giving in too, Yuri decides to just go with it and let him do whatever he wants. Minho carefully puts the earmuffs onto her head so that he won't mess up her hair. When he makes sure that they're properly placed, he takes a step back to look at her

"It really looks good on you" giggles Minho, while Yuri crosses her arms to avoid the embarrassment

"Wait, I think something's missing" Minho focuses on Yuri's face while placing his fingers onto his chin. He then slowly holds his hand out and softly tucks a strand of her hair behind her ear. Yuri is surprised by his sudden action and she stares at him widely

"There. You look prettier with your hair tucked behind your ear" exclaims Minho while gazing at her lovingly. Her heart starts to beat so fast and she slightly bows her head to hide her blushing face

"Just take it as a present from me. Since the weather's always cold at night, wear it often, okay?" smiles Minho. Yuri just clears to hide her nervousness and she slightly nods. Minho holds her hand and he takes her to the counter to pay for the earmuffs.

"Oh, I love those!" Minho points out when he spots a merry-go-round in the middle of the carnival. He goes closer to the carousel, with Yuri lazily being dragged by him, of course

"I used to have so much fun playing this. Ride it with me, Yul!" he invites her. Yuri glares at him with her jaw dropped. Is he serious?? I know he's a choding, but he wants to ride that?! How childish can he be?!

"No way, are you kidding me?! Can you stop being such a baby and grow up??" she scolds at him. She really can't believe that her future fiance can be this immature!

"Look around you! Only kids are riding it!" yells Yuri while glancing at the children going round and round on the carousel

"Hey, we're only 18! We aren't that old to ride it!" Minho pouts

"NO! I'm NOT getting on that thing even if the whole world depends on it!!"

"WOOHOO!! Isn't this fun, Yul?! Giddy up, giddy up!" Minho screams enthusiastically. He is riding on a colorful unicorn with Yuri riding the other beside him. Yuri seriously has that gloomy expression on her face

"Oh come on, Yul. Can't you just forget about it and relax a bit? Just try to have fun" Minho tries to cheer her up. He then continues to chuckle in delight, having fun on the carousel.

Yuri glances at him having such a great time by himself. She sighs deeply. Alright then, she thought. Just give it a shot, Yuri-ah. Let's just relax tonight. She slowly closes her eyes and spreads her arms, feeling the cool breeze soaring against her while she's going round and round.She breathes out in gladness. It feels so good and pleasant. With her eyes still closed, she smiles and lets out a chuckle.

Hearing her voice, Minho turns to take a peek at her. He gazes at her in amusement. Yrui definitely feels like she's in her own world. With this chance, Minho quickly takes out his phone and snaps a picture of Yuri. He stares back at the picture he just took. She truly looks like an angel, he thought. He smiles quietly to himself and glances back at her, feeling happy to know that she's finally enjoying it.

"Yul! I already bought the tickets. Are you ready?" Minho calls out to Yuri after he's done paying at the counter. They are currently at the ice rink zone

"Minho, are you sure about this? I really don't know how to skate" she tells him

"Don't worry, I'll teach you! Shall we?" Minho pulls her to the fitting room to retrieve their skating shoes.

When they have finished putting on the skates, Minho leads her to the exit of the room which is connected to the entrance of the ice rink on the other side. They look around to see not so many people on the ice. Just a few couples and some group of girls. That's fortunate. At least it won't be crowded for Yuri to learn a thing or two in skating. Minho takes a step into the ice rink and Yuri carefully follows his lead.

"Don't worry, I got you" Minho slowly helps her to get onto the ice. He is standing right in front of her and tightly holds both of her arms to keep her balance. While moving backwards, Minho gently leads her to the corner of the ice rink to prevent themselves from blocking someone's way

"Yah, are you showing off right now?" hisses Yuri, referring to how he can calmly skate backwards with his body still facing her

"No I'm not. If I don't do this, you'll probably lose your balance" Minho chuckles

"Just be patient. If you already get the hang of it, you'll be able to skate backwards too!" he advises, giving her his support and encouragement

"For now, let's just skate slowly to the other side. Over there!" he points out to the end of another corner on the other side of the rink. Yuri nods as an approval.

Together, they carefully make their way on the ice, trying to reach the other corner. Through the way, Minho gives all his attention to guide Yuri on keeping her balance. He escorts her gently and he never lets go of her arms. After a few slides, Yuri finally starts to get the hang of it. She is smiling on her own, feeling proud of her fast progress when looking at her feet moving in rhythm. She lifts her head up to look at Minho whose still concentrating on her legs. Her lips slowly curl up and she glances at his hands that are still clutching tightly onto her arms. By the looks of it, it seems that Minho already felt so comfortable being with her that without noticing, he keeps on having skin ship with her in the most natural ways.

"You did it, Yul!" cries Minho, startling Yuri from her deep thoughts. She gets back to her senses and realizes that they have already reached the other side

"Oh, yeah. Thanks, Minho" she forces a small smile. She quickly pulls her arms away from his hold to avoid further close interactions

"Err, I think I can do it on my own. Let's just skate and have fun" she mumbles. She skates ahead of him in a good pace, showing what she had learnt from him. Minho observes her from behind and chuckles at her fast improvement in skating. He quickly catches up to her and together, they are skating side by side, circling the ice rink with the other skaters.

After a while, Minho and Yuri decide to have a break at the edge of the ice rink, nearby the entrance. In the midst of it, Yuri's phone suddenly rings inside her pocket. She takes out her cellphone to look at the caller ID. Donghae <3 Yuri gasps. Her boyfriend is calling her. What should I do?! Yuri thought.

"Who is it, Yul?" asks Minho whose standing next to her. Seeing how Yuri hasn't answered the call yet, he became curious so he decided to ask her

"Oh, it's my dad. Can you excuse me for a sec?" she lies while forcing a smile

"Sure! I'll wait for you here" nods Minho. Yuri quickly goes to the exit nearby to have a proper chat, AND to make sure so that Minho can't hear their conversation, of course.

Minho is watching her answering the phone at a distance when suddenly a girl accidentally crashes her way into him. Minho is startled by her and he quickly holds both of her arms to prevent themselves from falling onto the ice.

"Miss, are you okay??" he asks in concern, trying to help her stand properly to maintain her balance

"Yeah, I'm okay. Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going" she apologizes while smiling sheepishly

"That's okay. I'm glad you're not hurt" Minho smiles and releases her arms from him

"Yah, Sulli-ah!" Another voice suddenly interrupts the two. Minho turns his head to the side to find two other girls approaching them

"Yah, you clumsy head. Be careful next time! It's a good thing you aren't hurt!" the girl scolds her. They're probably her friends, thought Minho in his mind. The two girls then face him

"Sorry about our friend. She can be really clumsy at times" the girl who just scolded her says. Minho can only smile to the group in return. Meanwhile, Yuri has just ended her call and she steps back into the ice rink to get back to Minho. But as soon as she lifts her head, she freezes her pace to see Minho acting all friendly to a bunch of girls. Since they are not that far from her, Yuri can hear their conversation loud and clear

"Anyway, I'm Victoria and this is Luna. We're Sulli's friends" she introduces with a smile on behalf of her two friends

"Oh, nice to meet you. I'm Minho" he states out while slightly bowing in politeness

"Nice to meet you too! Wow, we were watching you earlier, and it seemed that you really know how to skate. You looked really cool" the girl named Luna compliments with a stunned expression on her face

"Oh, really? Thank you, Luna-ssi" he thanks her while flashing a warm smile. The girls smile shyly to him in return. Looking at the view in front of her, Yuri unknowingly starts to squeeze the cellphone in her hand tightly till her knuckles turn white. She glares deadly at Minho from a distance and clenches her teeth. What the hell is this idiot doing right now??!

Hello, readers! Oh my God I just realized that it's been a month since my last update and I'm truly sorry! I had my exams done and I was away to Korea for a while. I enjoyed my trip and this carnival chapter is actually inspired by my visit to Lotte World and Everland. The amusement parks in Korea were amazing but both were wrong timing for me. Lotte World was full during the time I went there even though it was on a Monday. But I enjoyed taking snaps of it. Then the rides in Everland couldn't function due to the really thick snow. But nevertheless I had a great time and got some inspiration from it anyway hehe enjoy this next chapter, guys. Subscribe! <3
