‘Ah what should I do?’

Jisoo keeps walking around the dorm, thinking about their very first reality show, “Seventeen Project”. Yeah, that’s right. They’ll be filming their own reality show (or in some-way can be called survival show) before debut. They’ll be given missions in the show. Though they’ve filmed ‘Seventeen TV’, this is their first time to filming a show that’ll be aired on TV.

“Yah! Hong Jisoo! What are you doing?”

“Oh Jeonghan! Nah, it’s nothing. I’m just unsure about today filming...”, Jisoo replied while still walking around the dorm.

“Haha. You’re that nervous huh? It’s okay, Jisoo. Nothing to be worried about. We just need to do everything they asked us to.”, Jeonghan said in reassuring tone and pats his shoulder.

“Hmm... well you’re right. I shouldn’t be nervous. Haha.”, Jisoo stopped and laugh a little.

“And not to mention that you’ve been like this for about 15 minutes.”

“Really? I didn’t realize that. Haha.”

“Let’s hurry. Everyone already at the parking lot.”

“Ah yeah. Let’s go!”

Everything gone smoothly for their first recording, they’ve given mission to perform “Shining Diamond” for the first time in public. It’s only the first mission. They’ve so many more missions to be done to retrieved their Seventeen rings and also to debut. Everyone practiced and worked hard for their very first mission.

“Let’s do it one more time!”, Seungcheol shouted passionately.

“Hyung... it’s already 4 a.m. Can we rest please?”, Mingyu pleaded to the leader.

“I know, Mingyu. This will be the last for now.”

“Okay...”, Mingyu pouted while back to his spot again. They’re on their practice room for almost 15 hours already.

“Here.”, Jisoo offers a mineral water for Mingyu.

“Thanks, hyung~”, Mingyu pouts curled into a smile.

‘He’s so cute...’, Jisoo thought as his heart beating faster. “No problem. Drink it first, Mingyu.”

“Of course, hyung. Oh by the way, can I borrow your handphone after this? I want the song that you played yesterday, hyung. I like that song!”

“Sure. You can get it after this.”, Jisoo smiles.

“Yes! Thank you, Josh hyung.”, Mingyu replied in english. Jisoo smiles in return.

‘Whenever he’s using his english, he’s getting more cute than ever! I can’t even believe such cuteness is exist.’

“Here, hyung. Thank you~”, Mingyu gives Jisoo’s handphone back.

“Oh wait. Is this sticker yours?”, Jisoo asked when looking at a smile-looking emoticon sticker on his handphone.

“I’m sorry I didn’t ask your permission to put that on yours, hyung.”, Mingyu looked down, feeling guilty all of sudden.

“Nope, it’s okay. But why you put this on my handphone?”

“It just... I think this sticker will give you a strength whenever you’re feeling down or stressed. I.. I’m not saying hyung is feeling down or stressed now, but if you happened to...”, Mingyu explained it with his signature smiles. “Oh and I have one too on my handphone. Look! It’s same as mine!”, Mingyu showed his handphone to Jisoo.

“Ah I see. Thanks, Mingyu. Anyway, where you bought this? This is indeed is cute.”, Jisoo looking at the sticker carefully, but also noticed that Mingyu’s face is reddened. ‘Aww our Mingyu is so cute.’

“A..ah. I..it’s... I made it, hyung”, Mingyu hesitates and can’t look into Jisoo’s face.

“Really!?!”, Jisoo shocked.

“Y...yeah.”, Mingyu scratches back of his neck.

“Woah... thank you so much, Mingyu. I’ll keep this safely.”, Jisoo noticed that Mingyu is still looking at something else. ‘Woah this boy is seriously talented. And the fact that he is giving this to me is...’, Jisoo smiles, but he didn’t realize that his heartbeat is getting faster for ‘nth times.

The day when they’ll perform “Shining Diamond” for the very first time on public has come. Everyone looked so nervous. They can’t hide it from their faces and little actions they do.

Mingyu POV

‘How if I’m didn’t do well today? How if I made a lot of mistakes?’, Mingyu thoughts are full of uncertainty and doubts. Then when he’s looking around the backstage, he noticed Myungho on the corner alone, playing his fingers.

“Hey Myungho! Are you alright?”, Mingyu asked with concern.

“I’m alright, Mingyu. I’m nervous.”, Myungho replied slowly like always, since he still can’t speaks Korean well.

“It’s okay, Myungho. I’m nervous too! Let’s just thinking of happy things!”, Mingyu suggested.

“Happy things? Like... Spongebob?”, Myungho asked innocently.

“Sure. Haha.”, Mingyu laughed with his friend answer. Myungho is the same-aged member, but his way of talking and thinking is just so innocent. Mingyu fascinated by that.

“Yeah, Myungho. Don’t be nervous. We can do it! You can do it!”, Junhui comes from nowhere to join encouraging Myungho.

“Oh Junhui hyung! Yes, we can do it! I can do it!”, suddenly Myungho becomes energized with his friends supports. “Thanks Mingyu, Junhui hyung.”, Myungho smiled. Mingyu and Junhui glanced at each other and returned Myungho’s smile.

“Okay everyone be ready! Your performance is going to start. Please gather around here.”, one of the staff shouted. Everyone then gather around her.

“Ah it’s the time. Let’s go!”, Junhui said while coming to the staff direction, followed by Mingyu and Myungho.

On the stage, everyone getting ready on their spots. Then the performance begin.

“It’s okay, Mingyu. Don’t be nervous. Just enjoy and you can do it!”, Jisoo whispered on Mingyu’s ear when he sits on Jisoo’s lap. Mingyu nodded (and also blushed for some seconds).

The performance wasn’t really great, but they tried their best. Hansol (Vernon) is the only one who gets praised. Though they got much critics, advices and lessons from their seniors and judges, they aren’t feeling down for a long time and keep working harder for the next missions.

‘Seriously, Jisoo hyung... Why you’re so kind and care to me? I’m afraid that I can’t return your kindness. You’re like a role-model for me now. Whenever I see you perform on stage, I’m always feel warm and amazed by your performance, expecially when you play your guitar. I’m your fan, hyung...’, Mingyu is laying on ‘his’ bed (since there’s no actual bed for every member in Seventeen), thinking about how kind Jisoo is and everything he did to him. ‘But why whenever I’m thinking of Jisoo hyung, my stomach always feel weird. It’s not like a feeling when you wanna go to toilet nor when you wanna vomit. It’s someting else. Should I go to a doctor?’

“Yah! Kim Mingyu! How long you’re going to laying like that!? There’s no time to be lazy! We need to practice for our unit song now! Junhui hyung is already at Pledis building. Hurry! You’re our leader!”, Seokmin shouted from the living room, distracted Mingyu thoughts.

‘Oh right. We’re supposed to practice now. I must to hurry.’

“Ah yeah. Sorry, I’ll be ready!”, Mingyu put on his jacket and come to Seokmin.

Seventeen have finished some of the missions already and now they’re divided into 4 units consist 1 member from their actual 3 units, except unit D, which have Jisoo and Seungkwan in it.

“I’m ready, Seokmin.”

“Okay. Let’s go!”, Mingyu nodded.

‘I wonder what is Jisoo hyung practicing right now...’, Mingyu is still thinking about Jisoo when he’s on the way to Pledis building with Seokmin. Little did he knows that his feeling for Jisoo isn’t as simple as a feeling of a fan to their artists. It’s something else.
