Foreword

Wow. It has been years since I've first posted this story on SSF (soshified). Looking back at it and re-reading the chapters now, geez; it's so cringe-worthy. But regardless of my distaste for its horrendous existence because of my poor writing skills (which are still visibly lacking), others have told me to still post it because at least it's still something to read. So here you all go. 

New (updated) chapters (other than what's already on SSF) will be up once Crooked Heart is finished. 

...Unless inspiration and motivation kicks in.

Chapter 9: At the very beginning, I was thinking of lighthearted and cute but as I keep on reading, I can't make myself stop. It's so good! The psychological sense of the story and I love how you compared each character to a game of chess. I can't wait to see how this plays out!
