Chanyeol thanked the nurse with a smile. He walked past a male, unaware that it was Baekhyun. He went into a ward.

"Park Chanyeol. What are you hiding from us?" Baekhyun waited and waited until a half hour passed. He quickly went behind a plant when Chanyeol walked out from the ward.

When he was sure Chanyeol was out, he made his way to the ward. He opened the door slowly and went in, closing the door.

A figure was sleeping soundlessly on the bed. Tubes were on her hands and she was wearing an oxygen mask.

Baekhyun approached the bed. His eyes widened in shock. He recognised that face so well.

"Dahae-ah..." He took her hands and kissed it lightly. He missed her. So much. "What happened to you? Did I... do this? I'm so sorry, baby girl." He apologized even though she couldn't hear him.

He stared at Dahae's face. Instantly, he remembered what she said to him when she was at SM.

"I hate you..."

The words kept playing in his head since then and during that night, he fainted during their practice due to a sudden fever.

"If only... if only you give me a chance...to explain..." He sighed.

CLICK!

Baekhyun was shocked and turned.

"Juice box and apples." Chanyeol was looking inside the plastic bag. "Where is it?" He looked up and he was shocked.

"There it is!" Chanyeol sighed and went to the nightstand. He grabbed his phone. "I thought I lost you."

Baekhyun sighed in relief. It was a good thing he hid under Dahae's bed on time and her blanket managed toncover under her bed well.

Chanyeol placed the plastic down and went to Dahae. "I hope you'll get discharge in a few days! I wanted to ask you out." He said, excited. "I'll treat you well than that jerk, Baekhyun."

Baekhyun heard Chanyeol spoke. He can hear the disgust tone in his voice. His heart boiled in anger.

"If you give me a chance, I'll give you love that you deserve." Chanyeol said romantically. "I'm sure I can because... I think I love you, Dahae-sshi..."

Baekhyun felt betrayed that his bestfriend loves his girlfriend. His bestfriend never told him that he found his girlfriend at all! I'll get you for that, Park Chanyeol!

Chanyeol looked at his watch. "Oh, darn. I'm gonna be late for practice!" He grabbed his backpack. "I'll visit you tomorrow, Dahae sshi. I'm gonna miss you." He kissed Dahae's cheek before rushing out.

After making sure Chanyeol was out, Baekhyun rolled out from under the bed before standing up to dust himself.

"I'm going to kill you, Park Chanyeol." He clenched his fist and looked at Dahae's face. He frowned.

"I'm not going to let you go, baby girl. I'll hold on to you to my very last breath..." Baekhyun vowed and carressed her cheek. 'I'll come back...' He sighed and head out.

"... Baekhyun...?"
