“Unnie~~ noona~~”

“Hey stop running! You guys gonna fall~!!” said Hyerin to the group of children that running up to her

*giggle~ “Heee~ unnie we’re home~!” said Jieun, a child wearing cream dress with pink flower print on it

“Noona, what are you cooking for dinner tonight?” said Hajin, a boy wearing a white shirt and dark blue short pant

“Unnie do you need help?” ask Jieun                                

“Hajima~! You’re gonna destroy the dinner~!!”, said Mingook

“Ani~” before Jieun managed to start bickering with the boys, Hye Rin intercept their conversation

“Guys cut it out~ How can I answer your question when all of you are talking non-stop…*sigh”, Hyerin sigh, the children face were all seems to feel guilty…then Hyerin proceed. “Ok~ for tonight dinner we are going to have chicken stew, rolled eggs, and some other side dishes”, Hyerin said before turning facing Jieun “and Jieun…no I don’t need help…Nayoung-shi and I will manage”, giving the warmest smile he could give to Jieun while caress her cheek. “Now~ all of you go and clean yourself up! After that we are going to have dinner~ Ok?!”, smiling to the children with both of her hands on her knees bend a little to match up the children heights

“Neeeee~~~”, all the children answer then go inside of the house. When Hyerin about to stand up and start the cooking, she saw Jieun still standing there with her head down

“Jieun? What’s wrong?”,

“Unnie…do you not want my help because you afraid I’m gonna mess up the dinner..?”, Jieun ask while looking at Hyerin sadly. Hyerin was a bit shocked but quickly response with a smile

“Aniya~ well you guys just start having test this week at school right.. I don’t want you guys to bother too much with other things. This week unnie just want you guys to concentrate on study..ok?”, Hyerin answer giving Jieun reassuring smile to show that she did not mean anything offense with her statement earlier. Jieun smile to her before nodding herself and gone inside the house

Right. This is the house where Jang Hyerin grown up. An orphanage. Not that she an orphan. But yes…this is the house that give her shelter since she was small. She once thought that her parents died in accident or any other unfortunate things happened to them that make her an orphan like  any other kids that lived there…but…it was far from what she expected…and she was only 7 years old when she found out the truth

Flashback

Hyerin POV

“Hyerin…will you be a good kid and go upstairs and play by yourself for a bit…we have guess coming shortly dear..”, Nayoung-shi looked at me with a sad smile and eyes that looked like they were about to let out droplets of tears

“Okay~!” I said don’t want to make Nayoung-shi sad. I run up and enter my room that consist some other children that most of them are a lot older than me

“Oh? Hyerin-ah…why are you here? I thought you said you want to help Nayoung-shi at the kitchen?”, asked Minah unnie

“Um…there are guest coming…so Nayoung-shi asked me to come up first”, I answer while sitting down at Minah unni lap.

“Ahh…I see…well it seems that ‘Hyerin Cooking Time’ have to waited huh..*giggle”, said Minah unnie lauging with the other unnie. I just looked at them while giving them the biggest grin I have

Cooking is really the one of my favourite hobby to do…though I really enjoy singing and dancing with my friends most, but seeing people happily eating your food is one of blessing that I enjoyed. Feeling the time has pass by..I got up from my sit and walk downstairs slowly thinking the guest have leaved. But instead I heard something that broke my heart to pieces which change me afterwards

“If you want money, I can give you that no matter how much you request. I send them monthly”, said a women wearing a beautiful blue dress sitting across Nayoung-shi, besides the lady was an older women.. a granny…. Not wanting to disturb the conversation I just sit at the stairs waiting for the guest to leave. Leaving the choice of going up away since I know I’m just gonna be teased again
