Baekhyun told Kyungsoo that Chanyeol would come today and honestly he didn’t expect Kyungsoo to freak out. he asked why Kyungsoo was freaking out and Kyungsoo replied with “I haven’t even finished my list of questions for Chanyeol!” Baekhyun looked weird at him “wtf Soo why the hell did you prepare a list of questions for Chanyeol?” Kyungsoo looked at him like are you serious? “Baek you dumb ! Some good looking stranger flirted with you on Instagram and you the dumb you are just gave him your number while you don’t even know him! I know you met him but maybe he is a ing police or a mafia boss!?”

“Chanyeol as a police… damn that would be hot.. we could get with the handcu- YOU WHY THE DID YOU SLAP ME?”              

“because you weren’t listening! But seriously if he is a police we are doomed. You know we sometimes smoke weed with Lay”

“but Soo it’s not that he has to know”

 “Soo?”

“Baek omg please go back to elementary school no you are too dumb for elementary school.. go back to kindergarten”

“then let’s go together!” Kyungsoo face palmed himself and is regretting all his life choices.

“why am I even friends with you again?”

“because we love each other” Baekhyun gave his friend a hug and showed him his eye smile

“eww no I have Kai , now get off me!” with all his strength he pushed Baekhyun away

“and I have a Chanyeol” Baekhyun said while running to the kitchen

“not yet ” Kyungsoo screamed but Baekhyun didn’t hear it because he was too busy in his own world thinking about someone.

While he was chopping the carrots for the soup his phone began to ring. Baekhyun grabbed his phone and smiled at the name. Chanyeol was calling him and he seriously needed to hear the taller voice.

“Hello Chanyeol”

“hello Baekhyun, how are you?” the taller one asked and Baekhyun smiled at hearing Chanyeol’s deep voice.

“I already felt good but after hearing your voice I even think I feel better!”

“aawh that’s cute but I actually wanted to ask something about tonight”

“sure go ahead”

“ should I introduce myself as your boyfriend or something else?”

Baekhyun gulped. He wasn’t damn ready for this question. They never confessed their love for each other and they only flirted with each other so that doesn’t make them boyfriends yet… right?

“err.. j-just friend is okay” 

“oh okay…” he thought that he heard a disappointment in Chanyeols voice.

“well.. see you tonight” Baekhyun said awkwardly

“see you tonight.. bye Baekhyun”

“bye Chanyeol”

Baekhyun hang up and continued to chop of the carrots while his best friend was looking at him. He ignored it at first but when he looked again at Kyungsoo he realised that his friend was still staring at him “why are you staring at me?” Kyungsoo didn’t answer the question instantly. After 4 seconds his friend began speaking. “you friendzoned him” Baekhyun stopped chopping the carrots and was looking at his friend “you were listening!?” Kyungsoo ignored the question “ you just confirmed that you two are just friends.” Baekhyun didn’t know what to say because he was right. His friend was right again!

“but we haven’t confessed our love and I don’t know if he even likes me! I don’t know this Soo” Kyungsoo sighed “you still could have said ‘soon to be boyfriend’ “

Baekhyun ignored his friend and continued making the soup. “what’s wrong Baekhyun? Something is bothering you”

Damn his friend was right again! something was indeed bothering. “I’m planning to confess tonight”

Kyungsoo mouth dropped open but then he smiled “and you are afraid that Chanyeol will reject you?”

Baekhyun nodded. “I really like him and I really want him as my boyfriend”

“Don’t worry Baek! Everything will be all right”

 His friend smiled, the smile Baekhyun hadn’t seen in ages. He really missed it and he felt like everything will be alright .

It was almost time, Baekhyun had to do a lot of things, fortunately there was his friend Kyungsoo who helped him or else he wouldn’t make it then he realised why Kyungsoo was here in his apartment. Chanyeol would come at 8:30 PM and it was already 8 PM! So he just had 30 minutes to get dressed and to do all his make-up. He wasn’t ready but his friend was, by looking at his face you could tell that he was thinking, probably the best ways to make Baekhyun feel degraded. The worst thing was that Kai was also coming. He tried everything, he begged so hard but Kyungsoo insisted. Things couldn’t get better….

“calm down hoe it’s not that ing Leonardo DiCaprio is coming” Baekhyun eyes grew wide.

“Soo this is important for me! Btw that would be great if Leo..” the doorbell cut him off. “oh I think it’s Kai” his friend put his phone away and walked to the door to open the door for Kai while Baekhyun was praying and he is not even religious.

“hey honey” the voice he hated the most. Right there in front of his door stood a piece of aka his friends boyfriend.

“Hey Nini!!! Come in you must be cold” Baekhyun wouldn’t actually mind if he got sick. He heard their whispers from the hallway probably gossiping about him. he was on his way to the kitchen to drink some water because he was too nervous.  The whispers stopped and he met that son of a ’s head. “Hey Baekkie!” that nickname ugh… “shut up don’t call me that” Kai grinned and Kyungsoo was ready to fight him. “don’t mind him Nini he is just jealous” Baekhyun choked on his water “ excuse me” Kyungsoo ignored him and pecked Kai’s cheeks. “I think I have to vomit” he ran upstairs to the bathroom to wash his face.

“no Kaisoo in my house.” he looked at the clock in his bathroom and saw that he had 15 minutes to make himself mr world. That was too less time but it was his own fault. He was too busy day dreaming.

He made his way to his bedroom and did his *makeup for hot guys* he had already chosen his outfit yesterday : tight black jeans with a white sweater. He finished putting on his eyeliner and this way of putting on eyeliner on his eye lid is only for hot guys like Chanyeol. He looked at himself in the mirror he was quite satisfied! then the doorbell rang.

“oh Chanyeol is here” He had to hurry because he couldn’t let Kyungsoo open the door.

“hello you must be Chanyeol! Come in” that voice belonged to Kyungsoo. He was too late.  Now he had to hurry before Kai sees Chanyeol. He run off the stairs as fast as he could. He could see Chanyeols figure  walking to the living room then he heard ing Kai.

“wassup I’m Kai this cutie’s boyfriend. You must be Baekhyuns friend”

Even Kai friend zoned them.

“where is Baekhyun?” he heard Chanyeol ask and the butterflies in his chest had woken up. He smiled and sat on the chairs to relax. “I think he Is upstairs doing his make up. Should I call him?” Chanyeol hesitated but nodded. He could hear Kyungsoo walking to the door and when he opened the door he was met by Baekhyun sitting on the stairs. “what the are you doing here?”

Baekhyun looked up to him “I can’t do it Soo” Kyungsoo sighed and sat besides Baekhyun. “look this guy first approached you so that means that he is attracted to you. You also like him and you have never felt like this. If you just can be a little bit more braver you could be boyfriends in a few hours. I’m sure he won’t reject you.  I could see the emotions in his eyes when he asked about you.” Baekhyun looked up “really? You are not saying this to me because I’m mocking right?” Kyungsoo shook his head. “really, now get your over here and make that guy your boyfriend” Baekhyun nodded. “you are right!” he stood up and was the first one to open the door.

Their eyes met and he could see the emotions in the eyes. suddenly Baekhyun wanted to ran away again because his heart was beating again. “hey..” he said and sat beside him. “hey… y-you look gorgeous” Baekhyun blushed and he saw that Kyungsoo was surprised . he was surprised as well because  he is a hard to get person. “t-thank you… y-you look good too!” he tried to look away but when he saw Chanyeol blushing he smiled.

“so… dinner is ready should we eat?” Kyungsoo tried to break the awkward tension. Chanyeol and Baekhyun looked at each other and nodded.

“damn this is delicious who made this?” everyone looked at Kyungsoo and Chanyeol understood. “thank you! I made it because Baekhyun can’t cook”

Baekhyun looked up “Hey I can cook just not very well like you…” he said with a pout. Chanyeol stopped eating and continued after a few seconds then he smiled. “don’t worry Baekhyun I can cook very well  because I have worked in a restaurant.”

Baekhyun blushed and continued eating. “Chanyeol may I know what job you are doing now?” he was pretty curious too.

“I’m an artist right now. I’m also an art teacher and I have done some work for museums.”

Chanyeol as an artist wearing a tanktop. Knees on the ground while he paints my face. Sweat on his forehead, concentrated on the canvas…. He could paint my body and I could say lines like “show me colours”

“BAEKHYUN!”

“huh?” Baekhyun looked confused but he saw Chanyeol smiling and it made him blush. “so Chanyeol what did you do before becoming an artist?”

“as I mentioned I worked in a restaurant as a chef for like 1 year and before that I had 3 part time jobs. At that time I was still a student and I needed money”

Kai opened his mouth and that was not good. “look Baekhyun you can learn from him” Baekhyun got embarrassed and looked down. “why?” Chanyeol asked because he was curious.

“Baekhyuns parents are rich so he is really lazy and doesn’t need to work for now. Chanyeol looked confused “what do you mean for now?”

Baekhyun was so embarrassed now “Kai…”

But Kai didn’t listen. “When he confessed to his parents that he was gay they disowned him but he had a lot of money on his bank account so he didn’t have to work”

“Kai p-please..”

“when they disowned him he did a lot of one night stands. You can’t even count the numbers of the one night stands. He recently stopped tho.”

“ ENOUGH” Baekhyun screamed and ran away upstairs to his room not wanting to see Kai and definitely not Chanyeol.

Kyungsoo glared at Kai “what? Did I say something wrong?”

Chanyeol was really worried now. “Should I check on him?” Kyungsoo hesitated but nodded.  He ran as fast as he could upstairs. He didn’t know where Baekhyun was but he could hear someone sobbing and it’s probably Baekhyun.

Chanyeol opened the door and he was met by Baekhyun lying on his bed crying. Chanyeol didn’t hesitate a moment and wrapped his arms around Baekhyun. “shhh It’s okay." Baekhyun ignored it and cried even more “Baekhyun please look at me.” He grabbed Baekhyun chin and he saw those beautiful eyes full of tears. They were looking at him and he couldn’t stop staring. Even with eye liner ruined he looked beautiful. “p- please don’t j-judge m...ee” Chanyeol wanted to cry at this sight. He wiped Baekhyun tears away because seeing the other crying makes him sad. “I have never judged you. I don’t care if you don't have a job because you are rich.”

“C-chanyeol…. T-they disowned me… t-they said that they didn’t want a f-f…. a in their family”

Chanyeol knew that Baekhyun needed to let his emotions out.

“I-I became so insecure after that… I started to do o-one night stands. I’m a s-… Chanyeol… no one wants a s-…” Chanyeol knew it. Behind the sassy and flirty diva there was also an insecure side of him.  

“you are not a Baekhyun. You need someone if your life. Someone who can protect you. Someone who can cherish you, someone who can tell you how beautiful you actually are.. someone who can love you…. ...can I be that one person?”

Baekhyun eyes grew wide. Did Chanyeol just confess to him? his eyes began to tear again but these tears were happy tears. Chanyeol was shocked when Baekhyun started to cry again “why are you crying again?” Baekhyun smiled. “y-you like me...” then Chanyeol realised that he had confessed. Now he needed to take the last step. He grabbed Baekhyuns cheeks and wiped his tears away. “Baekhyun…” Chanyeol looked at him and when he stared into those eyes he saw something. Was it love? was Baekhyun looking at Chanyeol like that?

Is this normal? His heart was beating really fast. It feels like it will explode soon. Baekhyun tried to breathe. “Chanyeol…”

“Do you want to be my boyfriend?”

Chanyeol was waiting for an answer and he got it when Baekhyun kissed him. when Chanyeol realised that Baekhyun was kissing him he closed his eyes and started to kiss back. Those beautiful lips were made for him. they fitted like they were soulmates and now they belonged to him. Chanyeol tilted his head so Baekhyun had more access to his mouth. Chanyeol grabbed Baekhyuns waist and started to explore Baekhyuns mouth with his tongue. It felt so good when Baekhyun wrapped his arms around Chanyeols neck. Those beautiful hands were also his now. His body everything. When Baekhyun let out a moan they broke the kiss. Baekhyun was blushing but Chanyeol didn’t want to end this moment and connected their foreheads.

“hello boyfriend” Chanyeol said and Baekhyun showed him the most beautiful smile he had ever seen.

When  Baekhyun calmed down they made their way back to the living room. When Kyungsoo saw them he let out a * thank god* sigh “OH GOD YOU ARE BACK WHAT WHERE YOU GUYS DO- OMG YOU ARE HOLDING HANDS” Kyungsoo screamed and Kai just smiled. “YOU DID IT ! I ACTUALLY THOUGHT THAT YOU WEREN’T GOING TO CONFESS”

“thanks for believing in me…” Kyungsoo ignored the sarcasm and continued with talking. “so you have a boyfriend now… well congrats!!!”

Kai who was sitting on the couch turned around. “have a lot of !”

Baekhyun blushed and he didn’t know why it was not that he was innocent. Maybe because he has a lover now someone who loves him and not just his body.

“well I think Chanyeol should go home it’s 11 PM already. Chanyeol are you t working tomorrow?” Kyungsoo asked and Chanyeol smiled. “yes I actually have classes to teach and I should  already be in bed  but I can always make an exception for Baekhyun”  they were still holding hands and Baekhyun felt Chanyeol squeezing his hands.

“well it was fun! I think you will come here to this place a lot now.” Chanyeol smiled “thank you for dinner! It was delicious oh and it was nice to meet you” Chanyeol bowed out of kindness and he let go of Baekhyuns hand to put on his shoes. Baekhyun decided to send off Chanyeol.

“please don’t tell him that you actually confessed instead of me” Chanyeol let out a laugh “ I won’t I was actually planning to confess to you but I didn’t know it would be this soon”

“I’m glad you did it now and that you took the first step…” Chanyeol smiled and gave him a hug “I don’t regret it at all”

“same” Chanyeol broke the hug.

“ take good care of yourself! Be careful love” Baekhyun smiled when Chanyeol grabbed his hand a put a kiss on it. His boyfriend was so romantic!

“y-you too Chanyeol” and he pecked Chanyeols lips. He was so new to this kind of thing so he didn’t know how to respond. Is this what couples do?

Chanyeol  was shocked but smiled eventually he got into his car and smiled for the last time before he left the parking area.

Baekhyun got back into his house and he saw that Kyungsoo and Kai were leaving. Kyungsoo came to him and whispered “I know that you didn’t confess we heard everything” Kyungsoo left and this time it was Kai “admit that without me you wouldn’t have a boyfriend now” Baekhyun gave him a dirty look “leave” and he almost wanted to kick him out. He had to admit without Kai he wouldn’t have a boyfriend now but of course he isn’t going to say that. when Baekhyun closed the door he couldn’t stop smiling.

That night, Baekhyun slept like a princess dreaming about her prince Charming.
