Part 8
SKYDRAGON ONESHOTSThe cotton-candy sky engulfs my lungs. My eyes travel down his body and I’m torn apart. My fingers itch to touch him but I remember his words so pull away. I run my hands down my body and watch his eyes follow them. I know he’s dying to touch me but we made a promise. He grabs the bottle of whiskey and drinks as I touch my lips. He shakes his head and drinks some more. I’m slipping but he won’t be here when I do. He’s never here not even when he’s next to me. I’m tired of the things we do now. I love him but I’m tired of the drinking, the lies, the drugs, the fear. It’s all too much to bear when the person I really want doesn’t want me.
