We're covered in the warm light in this summer morning. He kisses my neck and plants small kisses until he reaches my lips. I'm overcome with the love between us. I know this kind of feeling is temporary and people like him are fleeting but it feels so right. Maybe if we had met later on, things could have worked out like we wanted them to but for now, he's only looking at me and I know the present is all that matters. I might not have him tomorrow but I have him today. His beautiful face lights up once again when I kiss his hands. He loves when I do that. We'll come out alive. I hold his hands in mine and watch as his chest rises and falls. A mesmerizing sight to see someone so vulnerable in the morning light. 

"For me, it's always going to be you, Chae." 

"I know, Ji. You're it for me, too." I squeeze his hands. I mean it.

"I have to film the movie in two days. I won't be back until next year." 

"I know. It's going to be okay."

" I don't think I can take being apart from you for so long." He lets my hands go and pulls me closer to him.

"I can't promise I'll wait for you. I have to go back to college."

"But we'll see each other again, right?"

"Of course." I smile into his chest.

"Promise you won't let me go."

I already have but maybe someday you'll come back to me when the timing is right.
