Whirlwind: Chapter Three (Sehun)
The Stone Chronicles: Rise of the UndeadThe Inn was busy as ever.
Rhoslyn and Sehun had to push their way through the drunken patrons and toward a group of men who were clearly soldiers. They stood by a table, talking loudly and spilling their drinks as though it wasn’t early afternoon. Amongst the revelry was one man sitting at a table silently looking down at his cup.
“There he is,” said Rhoslyn, pointing toward the seated man. Sehun looked at him and lifted his brows.
“Wow. His armour is.... a bit much, isn’t it?”
Rhoslyn chuckled. It was unfortunately true. His armour was much more flamouyant than Rhoslyn’s, but it was appealing in a certain way. There was no doubt that he was brave, though. Anyone to survive such a battle with the ghouls was uniquely qualified.
“There is more to him than meets the eye. He was one of the only knights to stand up for me when I was so unfairly given my walking papers, despite of the personal risk. He can seem very prickly, but he is a man of particularly good character, or I never would have walked into that death trap with him.”
“I’m afraid that doesn’t change the fact that he looks ridiculous.”
Rhoslyn smiled and then furrowed her brows.
“Honestly, he’s the most qualified of everyone I trained with, though he’s only now leading the knights of cholerny now by default. He was the highest ranking soldier who survived the recent slaugher. It’s actually common knowledge that his mother is a werewolf, and there
