At this very moment, there is a meeting of elder ghouls being held in a very secret place. The fact that they have even agreed to meet with the young one hows how unhappy they too are with his father’s methods.  He pleads his case with them, they're impressed by his passion.

“The old ways are dead, we must take back what is rightfully ours.”

But they are hesitant.

“He is your father, this is heresy!”

The old ways always die hard.

“It’s true, but his way of thinking is going to cause our skin to whither, our bones to crumble and we shall find ourselves turning to dirt soon.”

“If not your father, who will lead us?”

But sometimes the an old forest must burn down so that a new, stronger one may grow in its place.

"I am prepared to assume leadership immediately."

And so it begins again.
