At last, it was Kaeun's sixteenth birthday and Lizzy took her out to test for her license as promised. They arrived early at a DMV and waited in line for a while before Kaeun's number got called out.

"About time." Lizzy said fanning herself with a bunch of required forms for Kaeun to be able to receive her license if she passed her road test.

Considering that Kaeun had already passed her written test, Lizzy wasn't really worried for her little sister. "Fighting!" She encouraged Kaeun before seeing the girl head out. The older one waited a good thirty minutes for her sister to come back with news of how it went.

"Unnie..." Kaeun called out to her sister who was excited to hear about how well she did. However, the younger girl looked upset.

"What's wrong Kaeun-ah? Did you... not do so good?" Lizzy asked cautiously not wanting her little sister to cry.

"Nope. I passed unnie!!!~~~ Did I get ya?" Kaeun responded playfully. Lizzy's eyes widened with exasperation but softened straightaway as she chose to pull the younger one in for a congratulatory hug.

"Good. Unnie's proud." Lizzy voiced softly while gently patting Kaeun's back as a sign of her feeling relieved.
That's all it took for Kaeun's heart goes off again. She felt as if her body could perform a triathlon with all the energy surging within from her sister's hold.

Kaeun's POV

"Kaeun-ah, what do you wanna eat? Unnie will buy it." Lizzy asked wanting to reward her little sister for the achievement.

"Um, a-anything's fine with me unnie." She replies with a small grin.

"No way, you have to be craving something. Lets grab a burger then, don't tell mom."

I nodded in agreement as we made our way over to a fast food vendor. Weirdly, I wasn't feeling hungry so I ordered what my sister had and then we picked a spot to sit while enjoying the meal. It's really strange to me though. I noticed that I would lose my appetite after anytime unnie caused my heart to beat faster. Am I.. just distracted? Or do I feel full because of her small actions...? Nonono! That even sounds weird! What am I thinking? Eat your sandwich, Park Kaeun! My face was probably flushed with embarrassment at the moment.

"Kaeun-ah... you feeling okay? You don't look so well." Unnie asked with her concerned, shimmering eyes as she placed her hand on my forehead. In turn, causing my face to heat up even more. Stop it! Stop caring so much!

I removed her hand sharply. "I-I'm fine!... chill unnie." I mentally face palmed. Why did I just snap at her? Unnie's bright expression sunk as she focused her attention to the food. "U-unnie, sorry. I didn't mean to ye-"

"It's fine. You ready to go?" She cuts me off, crumpling up her scraps with a wide grin on her face. I nodded happily and helped her clean.

We walked home hand in hand... laughing and giggling. Anyone passing by probably thought that we were a couple. What they didn't know was that we were sisters. Sisters. However, that.. 'thought' doesn't seem to be enough to cease this... constant torture. The torture of not being able to express my feelings to her due to being afraid because she is my sister.
