The Fight (Past)
Heal Me"Unnie! Can you buy me this, just this once hm? I promise I won't tell mom!" Kaeun implored her older sister with big puppy eyes after admiring her appearance in the expensive casual dress she had tried on.
"Forget it, we won't have enough to get by even a week if we buy this, don't you understand? It's enough to let you try it on." Lizzy responded firmly, saddening her sister. Kaeun knew the circumstances their family was in financially, though she kept persisting.
"Pleaseee, I've been noticing this piece on display everywhere for weeks and I just want at least one thing nicer than what I have."
"Mom worked hard to get this money for me to buy you and me something decent to eat as she starves, Kaeun-ah. Don't be ignorant and go wasting it!" Lizzy sprayed in frustration, initiating tears in her little sister's round orbs. Getting caught up in the moment, Lizzy barged out from the brand-named store to blow off the steam. Meanwhile, Kaeun wiped her tears away as she got back into her previous outfit and sadly exited the store. Lizzy wasn't anywhere to be seen outside the front. Kaeun already started blaming herself for being irrational as she trudged home to where she had hope to reconcile with her big sister.

"I'm home~" Kaeun called out almost in a whisper as she entered the small apartment, taking her shoes off.
"Oh! My pretty daughters, you're both are home already?" Mom's loving voice emitted from the kitchen as splashing sounds could be heard clearly.
"What? Unnie isn't home yet? I thought she would be by now." Kaeun replied, putting her things down and poking her head into the kitchen to greet her mother.
"Did you two get into another fight? This needs to stop before I disappear one day. You two are sisters." Mom scolded as she washed the utensils. Kaeun replied by grabbing a towel and helping her mom dry the dishware. Mom sighed. They finished the chore in silence when Kaeun suddenly spoke up.
"It was my fault. It's always my fault, mom. I always add to unnie's stress all the time because of my dumb mouth. I don't even apologize, or worse, I forget to. I think unnie forgets as well because she acts like nothing ever happened the day after. I'm a terrible sister, mom." K
