My alarm rang, so I got up and turned it off.

"Waaah, it's my first day of school, I hope it goes well."

I went downstairs and found my umma cooking and my appa reading the newspaper.

"Jieunnie, good morning!" My umma greeted me with a big smile.

"Annyeong umma! Hmmm pancakes! My favorite~ It smells good umma! Appa, annyeong!"

"Oh, good morning my princess! My queen and I will be going to LOEN Ent. later. Eat your breakfast now and enjoy your first day."

"Deh appa." Isn't my dad very sweet? He refers to my mom as his queen. 

So I ate my breakfast and rode our car to school.

"Thank you, driver ahjussi."

"You can call me Mr. Park, miss." he said as he smiled.

"Deh Mr. Park, I'll see you later." and I waved goodbye.

I went inside and people were looking at me and whispering things. I guess they know when someone's new. I didn't know where the principal's office is so I asked a girl and she kindly showed me the way.

"Thank you miss." 

"Deh." then she left.

I opened the door. 

"Annyeonghaseyo, Mrs. Kim. I am Lee Ji eun, the new student from States."

"Oh, good morning Ms. Lee. You're a student of class 2-A. Are you okay with speaking in Korean?"

"Deh, I learned it while I was in States so I'm fine." and I showed a respectful smile.

"Arasso, come here if you have any questions regarding our school." she smiled.

"Deh,  I'll leave now. Thank you Mrs. Kim."

I went outside to look for my classroom.

But I couldn't find it.
