:Repeating the Cycle
SafetyWaking up the next morning, her hair was messed up, and there were black lines across the pillow as a consequence of her not removing her makeup the night before.
Sighing, she removed the sheets, and walked to the bathroom to take a shower and rub the makeup off her face. Being in the shower was one of the best times for her, it allowed her to think clearly and wash away all her bad thoughts.
Stepping out, she wrapped a towel around her as she made her way to her bedroom once more, and put on some fresh clothes as she checked her phone for any messages.
There was one from him.
If she ignored him, he’d just get angry, which she couldn’t handle again. But if she forgave him, wouldn’t the process just begin again? They’d fight, he’d leave, and she’d cry and be left alone once more, and she was unsure of how many more cycles of this she could take.
