Haha's  question shook Jong Kook out of his thoughts. All night long he had watched as a man he liked and respected flirt with a woman he had only just realized he had strong feelings for. And he was in a foul mood.

Jong Kook gave himself a mental shake and slung his arm around his dongsaeng. He forced a smile and began joking with the rest of the crew - the topic had turned to Suk Jin hyung's bad luck in being outed before getting to use his hulk superpower again. There was great laughter from the group as he whined jokingly about his bad luck. This superpower could have been his big chance to win! A tinkling laugh brought his attention back to the other conversation happening at the same time. Ji Hyo and Sung Hoon were having a great time discussing their mutual chagrin at realizing Kim Dong Hyun was the surprise Hulk. Sung Hoon laughed heartily as he recalled running away the minute he had recognized his hoobae and he endured Ji Hyo's ribbing at his comedic cowardice. 

"I don't want to fight with him!" he guffawed. "Would you?"

Ji Hyo burst out in peels of laughter. "I didn't want to fight EITHER of you!"

This brought a wide smile to the fighter's face - which brought a big frown to Spartakook's own face. This was definitely not going how he had planned the other night. Upon realizing his feelings for Ji Hyo, he knew that the first thing he needed to do was find out if she reciprocated. It had been a busy night with little interaction between them and he had lost the chance to have any meaningful conversation with her. But judging from how much she was enjoying her current male companion, Ji Hyo must be oblivious to what he was feeling.
