Hanbin's 'Five days and he'll come your way' plan : Day 4

"Do you see him?" Hanbin asked

"Yeah, he looks so good" Jiwon sighed

"As usual. Today, you'll speak to Jinhwan, go up to him and say ONLY what we discussed? Ok?" Hanbin replied. "Over and out"

"Hey Jinhwan" Jiwon greeted

"Hey Jinhwan', my foot" Jinhwan said as he tried to walk away

"One second. How far can you run from me darling?" Jiwon joked

"Let go of my arm. I don't know what has gotten into you? You've gone nuts. For the past three days I've been trying to get a hold of you. Where were you Jiwon? Where were you when I needed a friend?"

"I'm tired ok? I'm really tired of being your friend" Jiwon snapped

"What?"

"What do you mean 'what'? When you want to laugh, it's Jiwon. When you want to cry, it's Jiwon. But when you have to love, it's someone else? It's not going to work anymore Jinhwan, alright?"

"Jiwon, are you ok?"

"No, you listen to me ok? We're friends right?"

"Yes but-"

"Then listen. A very intelligent person has said that the first step to love its friendship and the last step too. Only the distance in between is remaining. Take a step Jinhwan. The path will unravel itself. Think. Just think. And for you to think, I give you.. my entire life" Jiwon slowly brushed Jinhwan's face, and walked away. Jinhwan stood there in silence. He wondered what Jiwon meant. Jinhwan felt that Jiwon had ceased to be his friend, he had become something else. But Jinhwan wondered what that 'something else' was.

Hanbin's 'Five days and he'll come your way' plan : Day 5

"Hey Jinhwan!" Jiwon called out

"Hi Jiwon" Jinhwan smiled. Jiwon quickly hugged Jinhwan, which sent Jinhwan into complete shock. "Here, I want to ask you something" Jiwon said

"What?" Jinhwan replied

"Will you come to a Salsa dance class with me?"

"Salsa? Why?"

"Yeah, it's my mom and dad's anniversary soon, and they want me to perform something...don't ask. But I need a partner to join the class and since you'e going to be my life-partner, why not start now?"

"No" Jinhwan giggled

"I'm only asking you to dance with me, not to have a go at me"

"No Jiwon"

"Pleaaasseee" Jiwon whined

"Don't do that face. Ok fine, but this is my LAST favour. Ok? I'll see you later" Jinhwan smiled and quickly ran away.

"Hanbin to Jiwon, Hanbin to Jiwon, do you copy?"

"Yes!" Jiwon replied excitedly

"I heard the whole thing, those were some very good lines"

"Because they were from the heart man. God, I really love him" Jiwon sighed

"I really love him too..."

"Love??"

"Haha, just kidding!" Hanbin lied

"You dog" Jiwon laughed

"It's the last day of the plan, and I think it's gone pretty well. Jinhwan's even warmed up to you now, and doesn't want to punch you at every lame pick up line" Hanbin joked

"Yeah, I have definitely noticed a huge change. Oh god, what about this salsa class?"

"Put your hand on my shoulder" Jiwon commanded

"No wait doesn't my hand go on your arm?" Jinhwan replied

"Um...I think. Ok now I step forward and you step back"

"OW!! You stepped on my foot"

"Maybe if you moved back I wouldn't have"

"Jiwon, you are so dopey. Ok, now we step to the side"

"Left or right?"

"Left?"

"Is that my right?"

"Why didn't you listen to the teacher when she was telling us what to do?"

"I was too busy looking at you..." Jiwon sighed. Jinhwan started giggling and blushing. "Ok, we can do this" Jinhwan assured Jiwon. They started dancing together and laughing because everyone else were following the dance perfectly, and they were the only ones doing it wrong. But they didn't care, because they were together and that's all that mattered. Jinhwan couldn't stop laughing at Jiwon falling over every 2 seconds. They were so happy and full of life together. Hanbin's eyes filled with tears as he watched the two from a distance. He could see the amount of love between them, and it was such a bittersweet feeling. Hanbin knew he had to cherish this moment, as he may not be there to cherish it tomorrow.

"So what's happening today doc?" Hanbin asked

"Just some tests, and I'm gonna see how well your heart rate copes" Yunhyeong replied as he wired Hanbin up.

"Ok, get on the treadmill, we'll see walking rate first" Yunhyeong ordered, and Hanbin silently obeyed. It was the usual routine for Hanbin. Yunhyeong would run some heart scans, Hanbin would see how well his heart rate coped in different situations, and Yunhyeong would tell him his results for the day.

"The results are here Hanbin!" Yunhyeong called. Hanbin, who was lying on the hospital bed slowly grabbed his mother's hand for support. "Come on, then, fire away" Hanbin smiled. Yunhyeong looked over the papers, and his face fell slowly. "What's wrong?" Hanbin asked. "How's his heart rate?" His mother pleaded. Yunhyeong looked at Hanbin sadly. "It's....it's slowing down..." Yunhyeong whispered. Hanbin smiled, as his eyes filled with tears.

Jiwon opened his gift from Jinhwan. "A bright green tie??" he said to himself. But he loved it. He loved anything that Jinhwan gave him. Jiwon quickly ran to Hanbin's house to give him the good news.

"I love you. No, I really love you Hanbin" Jiwon sighed

"Um, thank you??" Hanbin replied

"Look at me" Jiwon instructed

"No thanks"

"What do you see?" Jiwon asked

"Nothing" 

"Look at this" 

"Why should I? I don't want to see that" Hanbin panicked

"Just see this...look at my tie"

"Ohhh you were talking about the tie?? I thought you meant...never mind" Hanbin laughed

"Jinhwan gave me this tie"

"Um...it's...subtle? Well atleast you got something, it's going good"

"You know Hanbin you....you are something else pal. If it wasn't for you there would be nothing" Jiwon smiled

"I know"

"You're a genius" Jiwon complimented

"Since birth" Hanbin smirked

"You're intelligent"

"Go on.."

"Brilliant"

"Hello? This is me we're talking about" Hanbin smiled

"You should write a book. '5 days and he'll come your way'. Genius" Jiwon laughed

"Even I was thinking along those lines. Anyway, whatever I did for you is fine. But even you're quite lucky. Because for you. I.." Hanbin's voice trailed off as he saw a teary eyed Jinhwan standing at the doorway.

"I....What did I do? I did not do anything. It was all you...it is beause of you...your love...you you you" Hanbin continued

"You are so great pal" Jiwon sighed

"No not me, YOU" Hanbin urged, trying to communicate with Jiwon using his eyes

"You don't even want to take the credit for it. Listen to me for once, pal"

"I REALLY don't think thats a good idea Jiwon"

"WOULD YOU JUST LISTEN? The truth is, because of you Jinhwan is in my heart, in my heartbeat, in my every breath..."

"and in my house" Hanbin added

"Yes and in my house.." Jiwon's voice trailed off as Hanbin shook his head. Jiwon slowly turned around and saw Jinhwan with tears in eyes. Jinhwan quickly ran out of the door crying, and Jiwon and Hanbin quickly ran after him.

"Jinhwan!" Jiwon called breathlessly. "Jinhwan wait!"

"Let go of me" Jinhwan said angrily

"Just wait!" Jiwon pleaded

"What? Huh? What is it? Must have been fun right? Must have been great fun breaking my heart. '5 days and he'll come your way'? Wow. Both of you should be given an award. Fantastic Jiwon, fantastic" Jinhwan snapped

"Please listen to me" Jiwon asked

"No, you listen to me. I thought of you as a friend and poured my heart out to you. And what did you do? Told him everything. And he...he who wants to play God to everyone decided that since he could not love me, he would find love for me, and knocked on your door. And he told you that your friendship isn't just friendship, it's love, and you got convinced? Jiwon, what kind of a person are you, that you don't know your own heart, don't understand your own feelings?" JInhwan yelled

"I love you Jinhwan! And that is the truth" Jiwon replied

"No it is not the truth! The truth is that you've broken my heart. You've hurt me" Jinhwan cried. He turned to Hanbin. "I know before that I may not have had laughter in my life, I did not have happiness, but at least I had a friend. But today, you have taken even that away from me. Both of you" Jinhwan cried

"Just listen, Jinhwan" Hanbin softly asked him

"No!" Jinhwan screamed. "I don't want to hear anything. I don't want to understand anything. Pleas, for God's sake, leave me alone. Please." Jinhwan begged. He then turned around and started to walk away. Hanbin suddenly started searching Jiwon's pockets, and took out his red journal

"What are you doing?" Jiwon asked

"Hold on a second" Hanbin replied. "Jinhwan, I wish I could tell you how much I love you. I love you, I love you very, very much Jinhwan" Hanbin called out. Jinhwan turned around quickly, with tears streaming down his face.

"And then...and then it is written...I love you and...when I close my eyes I see you. When I open my eyes, I long to see you. Even when you're not near me, I feel your presence all around me. Every second, every minute...all the time. My eyes only search for my Jinhwan. Call it love, madness, or just my heartbeat....it's all the same to me. Many have loved before...but my love stands apart from all of them, because they do not have you. I can never forget you Jinhwan. I don't want to forget you. You're mine, and I'll love you forever. I'll love you till I die and even...and even after that. Truly" Hanbin's eyes filled up with tears, and he was trying his hardest to blink them back.

"All this...is written in Jiwon's journal. Jiwon has written it all. How can he hurt you?" Hanbin cried "And Jiwon, you have such bad handwriting" Hanbin said as tears quickly started to fall. He patted Jiwon's shoulder as he moved to the side where he couldn't be seen. Jiwon looked at the pages Hanbin had been reading from. They were blank.

"Hanbin...all that...I didn't..." Jiwon stammered

"You didn't write...but i said it. If you had to write it, you'd write the same thing, so I just said what was in your heart....what's the big deal? Right?" Hanbin softly replied "Excuse me, I just want to make a call..." he continued. Jiwon walked away, and as soon as Hanbin noticed he was gone, he broke down into tears.

"Jinhwan" Jinhwan's mother called

"Sorry mom, it's getting late. Let's go" he replied

"I want to say something to you. Just listen. To sustain every relationship, it is necessary to have strength along with love. Your father loved us a lot, but he was weak. He left us. He didn't even think about us. But Jiwon...Jiwon is not weak, and he loves you a lot"

Jinhwan smiled. "You said so easily that dad was weak, and Jiwon? Isn't it a sign of weakness if one takes other's help to win his love? Tell me" he replied.

"He took help to win your heart. What's wrong in that? Look Jinhwan, I'm telling you again, Jiwon isn't weak. He knows you love someone else...but still he wants to make you his own. That's strength dear. That is true love. If you reject his love today...tomorrow you'll regret it"

Jiwon lay on his bed. He didn't feel like doing anything. He just felt empty, since Jinhwan hadn't spoke to him after the incident. His phone rang and he managed to get out of bed to pick it up.

"Hi Jiwon" Jinhwan said softly

"Jinhwan...hi"

"Where are you?"

"In my room"

"I wanted to speak to you. Actually...it's kind of private..."

"Hanbin!!!! You got some mail" Taehyun called out as he walked into Hanbin's house. "Mrs Kim?" Hanbin read "It's probably for your mom, or god knows who. So many 'Kim's' on this street I'm gonna go insane. First the Kim's down the road, then Jinhwan's family, and you guys are they new addition. But the letter is probably for your mom" Taehyun replied. "Eh, I'll open it later anyway. Did you hear the news??" Hanbin asked

"What news?"

"Jinhwan wants to meet Jiwon. And they are FINALLY going on their first official date" Hanbin announced

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Taehyun squealed "How did it happen?!??" He screamed

"I'm just a handsome genius" Hanbin stretched

"That you are" Taehyun replied. "Anyway, I'm gonna go and help Jinhwan choose what to wear. His fashion sense is just.....uhh" Taehyun shivered. 

"MAKE SURE HE LOOKS HOT" Hanbin yelled as Taehyun left. Hanbin reviewed the mail. "Mrs Kim...? Mom doesn't go by that name anymore. Let me just open this and see what it is" Hanbin thought to himself. He quickly opened the letter, and as reading his face fell. "Is that letter for me?" his mother asked. "No..." he replied. He glanced up and saw Jinhwan's mother across the street. "It's for Jinhwan's mom..."
