Author's POV

The celebration is held at one of the Hotel owned by Jongin's family, they invited all their friends, business partners and near relatives. Jongin and Jaekyung arrive the party hall where everybody is wearing shiny, glittery expensive dresses and tux. She was wearing a blush colored long sleeved dress that stop below her knee, she paired with a Louboutin pumps.

With Jongin's hand on her waist, he led their way to his parents.

'Jongin, Jaekyung, your here..", his dad said with a champagne on his hand

Both of them bowed, On the other hand, Jongin's mom was eyeing Jaekyung from head to toe.

"Common, let's start the party..", his Dad announce as he make way to the podium.

Jongin, Jaekyung and his mother take their seat on their respective table, Exo(K)  together with their wives and Luhan was there.

" Good evening to everybody! I am so delighted and thankful to everybody who joined us tonight's celebration. Tonight's highlight is not only about the success we made in the company but my son, Kim Jongin will have an announcement to make. Please look forward to it, and please enjoy the food.", and everybody clapped as the chairman step down the podium.

"Jongin, my son, I need you to meet the president of Takanawa Company, let's go..", her mom grab his arm to stand up and drag him to somewhere.

Jaekyung just scoff of how Jongin's mom treating her.

"Relax your fist.. it's not good.", Luhan whispered to her as he saw her curled fist above her knee.

She just hate it, she hates when somebody is belittling or downgrading her..

The party is filled with talks, drinks, food and of course bragging, rich people always brag, accept it.

"Mom, I need to go to Jaekyung or at least you should tell her to join us", Jongin said to his mother as she pulled him to the crowd.
 But her mother didnt talk, "o! Honey, Jongin, This is Director Shijiro Takanawa. Director, this is my son, Kim Jongin and currently the Ceo of our company..", his father introduce him

"So your the great man who succeeded to conquer South America?? I think you have a great son. dont you think so Madam Kim?.", 

He bowed to pay respect, " He is, and he's getting married soon..",

"Really, so where's your wife to be? I need to  meet her then..", the old man requested,

Jongin came back with jaekyung, "Director, this is my fiancee, Xi Jaekyung...",

"Annyeonghaseyou Director. weve meet again....", she bowed also

"o! Your Dr. Xi Jaekyung, Im glad to meet you too again, what a coincidence..", the old man laugh

"Jaekyung, you know Director Takanawa?", Jongin's father ask, her wife were also surprise

"Deh, He was my patient before..", she answered

"You know what son, you have a great fiancee, your lucky to have her as your wife, She's brilliant, smart and of course pretty. And with her help i recovered from my illness.. You should get married soon, as in right away, Why dont you announce it now?",

Jongin's mother was silent as she watch them, "That's right, you should..", his father encourage,

The two held hands as they make way infront,

"Good evening everybody, as what my father said a while ago, i will make some announcement...",

The crowd attention stick at them, "I, Kim Jongin and Xi Jaekyung, will getting married...", the people clapped, and smiled, some were congratulating them.

"Were already in our 7th anniversary, our age is not getting any younger, so we decided to tie the knot. I hope, in our wedding, this exact group tonight can attend... We wish you a very good night..", they bowed for the last time

Then the crowd started shouting, "Kiseu! Kiseu! (Kiss- kiss)", they were shouting KISS

And without further ado, Jongin gave Jaekyung a quick peck on her lips, which made everybody cheered.

Jaekyung's POV

Right after we made our announcement to the public, Jongin's parent  came to us.

"Great Job son, Now! That's a real man..", his father hug him and patted his back

"And welcome to our family Jaekyung-a. Aigoo! i have a daughter-in-law now..", he  greeted and hug me also

" I need to talk with you Jaekyung ..", Jongin's mom said as she left first.

"I think your mom is getting emotional and sensitive again..", my future father in law said as he shook his head

I knock the door at her office room, "Come in!',

I entered and saw her sitting in the sofa. "Take a sit..",

" So, you decided to go back..",

"Deh...",

"I'll be frank Miss Xi, But for the 7 years youve been with my son, i never accepted you..",

Flashback

I was called by Jongin's mother for a talk. she was sitting with a leg cross.

"I dont like you for my son...", she mumbled in a monotone voice

"Neh?', i look up at her with a shock face

"I called you here to make things clearer for you.... Jaekyung, i do have a lot of reasons not to accept you... 1, Your not a real Xi descendants 2, your a unknown person, you dont even know who are your parents 3, Your a threat.... because of your background, we cant trust you...",

"You ignored my advice to leave my son-

"But, I came back with the promise i made, That i will comeback with a face to be proud of, Im a nuerosurgeon now...", I cut her off

" Still, It didnt change the fact your  a complete stranger... the fact you had a miscarriage 3 years ago, you act as if the child's life is not important to you, and now i doubt it's Jongin's son in the first place...",

Then it hit my heart straight, How could she questioned me!!

"How could you-", my tears is threating to fall

Then a sudden knock broke the heated conversation, it was Jongin.

"Mom, Dad is waiting for you.. Jaekyung, common let's eat...",

Her mom left already, he kneeled down to my level and caressed my face, "Are you Ok? What happen?",

"I just dont feel well all of the sudden..", i lied

'Let's go home now then.. weve done our part..",

"No, you stay, i think you have alot of meet and greet tonight... I'll just drive.',

"i thought your sick, how can you drive?, No more argue. Let's go home.",

"Then go alone then..", I insisted

"Fine, but ill send you home then and come back here...satisfied?",

"I warm the water already...", Jongin turn on the heater on the shower for me to take a bath since im wearing a make up.

"Here's your meds and water. I brought fruits from the fridge...", he was taking all the foods in the fridge to our room,

and Here i am , laying on the bed watching him

" will you be ok to be alone? You know it's not important to go there..", he reasoned

"Last chance, do you want me to stay?", for umpteenth time he was asking me

"Just go..", i answered

He put an annoyed face, then he march down to leave.

I left the bed and walk to the room just beside ours.

This room was supposed to be for our baby... The decoration is not yet finish and we didnt tried again that time, 3 years ago, i had a miscarriage, It was after my residency and i decided to go home. My pregancy back then was sensitive, i felt a lot of discomfort and pain. Jongin and I and the people around me was happy about my pregnancy, since it will the next heir of their generation. The doctor says the fetus has a weak grip so i need to be a extra careful, but it just ended like that,  while were having dinner, I felt warm liquid flowing between my legs, I cried at horror as i saw blood dripping to the floor.

"jongin! Im bleeding!!!',i cried

He immediately carried me and send me to the hospital, due to profuse bleeding, the baby is gone.

I stood up towards the bed and caressed the soft beddings we choose, then my tears just fall off.

"My baby.... im sorry.. im sorry..", my knees weakened as i sob.

"Please! come back my little angel......",
